Keep digging your dishonest hole.

My goodness you do not even know what James wrote about in his Essay "Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments (1785)

It was James Madison's who being a Calvinist believed that Calvin, the medieval popes, Anglican bishops, and Puritan magistrates all made the same fundamental mistake believing government should defend theological truth.

If you knew how to read their words, because of course they are not going to name specifics but he clearly was against theocracy which was what John Calvin attempted to put into place in Geneva.

"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial."

You need to stay on permanent ignore, I know nothing more dishonest than to assert the IDF uses discriminate bombing proven to be false several times over by several agencies and the IDF itself, through the technology they use.

Those verses dont say Jesus died for every single individual
Hebrews 2:9

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

2 Corinthians 5:15

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

1 John 2:2

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Ridiculous, Jesus was very clear except in the parables but he explained a few, he said HIMSELF and I quoted the verses that HIS words are Life, who are you to Contradict God? Jesus is the source of Living water, I drink from that source as should we all.

They imagine themselves in some lofty place having to protect the sovereignty of God... do they have correct view of God's sovereignty to begin with..... NO!

John3-3-John1-13-James1-18-Romans8-9b1-Peter2-9.png

John 3 verse 3, John 1 verse 13, James 1 verse 18, Romans 8 verse 9b, 1 Peter 2 verse 9 ~ Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” Born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we would be a kind of firstfruits of His creation. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. You are chosen to proclaim the virtues of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. My soul will exult in my God, for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness. Plus Isaiah 61 verse 10

Sure. He was against government being tied to a particular religion. He believed in freedom of conscience, religion being exempt from civil authority, and that state support corrupted religion. He never mentions Calvin in his writings.

You guys have CDS. You are willing to make proclamations void of evidence. Pure conjecture put forward as truth.

Killing men softly. So kind

John Calvin asked for mercy when he realized his persecution of Servetus was going be that Servetus was burned at the stake, Calvin advocated for him to be beheaded as the more human method.

Oh and what did Servetus believe that warranted he be put to death.... can a Calvinist here find some justification for his execution too!!

Perhaps FWers hope that logical fallacies make up for their lack of Scripture support for their view.

It is called deduction based on his expository writing of individual, if one really has a degree in Political Science one would understand something about historical critical analysis

Indeed...... The Enlightened Position on the Folly of TULIP aka CDS ..... should be added to the Pilgrim's Progress, it would probably come back as a national best seller
Anyway ⌛

So you agree that it came from your mind based on your reason?

BTW...enlightenment comes from God; not through man's capacity to reason.

Grace and peace.

So where does it say He died for every single individual ?

John Calvin did not murder anyone.
John Calvin advocated for their death and succeeded in having his theological opponents executed.

The execution of Michael Servetus by burning at the stake occurred on October 27, 1553, in Geneva. John Calvin was a principal instigator, serving as the prosecutor who provided evidence of Servetus's heresy, although the actual death sentence was imposed and carried out by the Genevan civil council.

On October 26, the council condemned Servetus to death by burning. Though Calvin and other pastors agreed Servetus deserved death, they requested that the civil authorities mitigate the punishment to a more humane beheading by the sword. The council refused and he was burned alive on October 27.

here is a clear one from jesus Himself one with GOD, Listen to HIM!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Doesn't say one word about Jesus dying for every last individual

So where does it say He died for every single individual ?
You do not understand the words “every man”?

Calvinism blinds the eyes of your understanding.

John Calvin did not murder anyone. Capital punishment was the responsibility of the Genevan civil
authorities (the City Council), not the church, and heresy was legally considered a capital offense.

But you love your lies, and logical fallacies. Carry on.
