The official United States white house Xitter account makes a direct reference to Qanon, who for those not in the know was some crazy campaign of postings on deep web internet forums that made all kinds of wild prophecies about Trump and expositions on the secret things in government.

This means that Trump is owning up to everything that Qanon has said. Looks like we're finally getting ready for "the storm".
It's been a long two weeks, but I'm glad I trusted Sessions.

Pretty sure it's Q the reference was made to. "Qanon" is a media fiction dreamed up to categorise patriots and folks who can think for themselves as a cult.

As I understood it, the man claiming to possess a Q clearance who promised to denounce pedocriminal systemic acts among the american political elite on underground forums was part of a psyop to actively help the reelection of Donald J. Trump.

It happened along with accusations of spirit cooking and cannibalism against Hillary Clinton and the Podesta moral panic linked to Pizzagate.

I am not an american citizen but I have been dwelling on such forums around this period.

So I might be in the wrong here.
But I clearly understand that some entities were actively trying to get Trump reelected by pushing his opponents under the bus.

I do not know of he's a good president. That will be for history to decide.

What I know is he was not elected and then reelected by the sheer fact of his competence as a politician.

Attributed? That means zero. So you haven't read the actual Q posts, or maybe don't understand it. There are a series of posts from Q [a person or group]. These are the only posts that can be attributed to Q. Anything outside those posts are not part of Q.

I remember a lot of those. From the circumstances surrounding the government and the continual decrees that that the swamp was caught and patriots that are in control, I can see how people sincerely invested in Q would come to such conclusions on behalf of whatever Q actually is.

I saw several things at work.

1. Those who claimed/bragged to have decoded Q and concocted their own ridiculous conclusions, like "JFK Jr. is alive in disguise at a Trump rally!!" were straight up deluded by ego. They believed they had unlocked super secret knowledge with their super special intellect, and they ran with it.

2. At the same time, MSM was eager to put a nail in the Q coffin because it was waking people up to some actual truths, like the overwhelming corruption, how BLM and antifa fit in, etc. What better way to squelch that than drag the most ridiculous claims into the mix and falsely associate it with Q.

Personally, I think the Q posts are interesting but I place zero trust in them. The real question is what was the purpose and intent. To reveal? To mislead into complacency? To create a mass delusion? All and more are possible so buyer beware.

Qanon is the attempt by the media to tie up the military operation (if it is that) to well-meaning citizens and terrorist elements, to lump them all together and outlaw it (i.e. treat those speaking the truth as terrorists). There is Q (the military op, or the LARP, or whatever people say it is) and there are anons - Q is separate to "anons", and most "anons" separate to each other. There is no Qanon (and if there is, it's likely run by the CIA and Mossad and may well be behind the next false flag terrorist attack they've got planned to try to force the US back into the Iran war).

Irrespective of whether Q is good or evil, I hold stating Qanon is inaccurate as it sides with the legacy media narrative, and as seen in this very thread, people become confused about what Q stated, and what others (particularly cultists, extremists or subversive groups) may state it said. Similar to the term "sovereign citizen" - an oxymoron, but the mainstream use is to try to create an association with terrorism for anyone who objectively agrees with any idea (irrespective of legitimacy) the so-called movement accepts. But to each his own.

I'm presuming this means you agree that the operation was legitimate? (i.e. conducted by insiders who had some foreknowledge of what was planned?) Again, this is a different matter to motive or purpose. The media narrative was that it was just a live action role play.

I believed Q before I disbelieved it.
Does it have some truth? Yes.
Is Q a real resistance, or just the swamp using things that people know about them to manufacture a fake hope of resistance, and everything that Q 'gets right' still a part of satans schemes? Very likely, and it's hard to say otherwise. What the world says about it doesn't matter anyways.
