That's only your interpretation on what Jesus said, its not what He meant. He meant to say that if you are in Jesus' hands, then when the tempter and the deceiver comes to steal you he will not be able to.
i think Jesus meant what He said, no one can pluck His sheep from His Fathers hands. The deceiver can tempt and deceive even the elect if it were possible.

When Jesus saves, He saves.

Peace.

Once saved always saved. Amen.

If you agree salvation is by the grace of God how can you then say by works only can you keep this salvation? By the Grace of God we are saved and by the Grace of God we stay saved forever, amen.

Unless you are saying God throws back the little ones...

The words of division and judgement and "what ifs" are not necessary. By God's power we are saved and by God's power we stay saved. God doesn't take back any of His gifts, does He?

The question is not that God has not saved us through His Son, the question is DO I HAVE HIS GRACE, that is, His DIVINE POWER working in me? This is salvation. WHAT IS THE GRACE OF GOD? It is his Holy Spirit and His power. If you don't have that then you're not saved you're dead and in sins. The Body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, if you do not have the Holy Spirit working inside in i.e in your body, then you cannot talk about the Grace of God much less salvation.

then go ahead, grandpa... sin all you want. Deny Christ. according to your doctrine, you can truly deny Christ, and Christ still wont deny you.... after all, that's what 2 Timothy 2:12 says, right?

I like it bro Very Good word!

The indwelling Holy Spirit is the very embodiment of the imputed righteousness of Christ.

The same Grace that saved me from my sins in the first place saves me from my present sins and mistakes. The Lord Jesus Christ is my Saviour, now and for always. I am not in any way denying Him. Nor is it my doctrine but the doctrine of the Gospel, the Gospel of Grace. Do you think the Lord Jesus Christ stops loving us because we sin?

What kind of a spirit preaches for the Power of Man and his choices and preaches against the Power of God and His Saving Grace? What kind of spirit would suggest that once someone is saved by Grace they would willingly go back into slavery to the power of Darkness?

No. Once you walk in the light you no longer wish to walk in the darkness. When the blind are healed they don't wish to cover their eyes. When the leprous are cleansed they don't ask for the leprosy back.

Jesus never stops loving us... but WE can fall away.

the Bible gives us PROOF that we can fall away by the examples of those in the Bible

Hymenaeus fell away
Philetus fell away
Alexander fell away
Demas fell away
King Saul fell away

Question: If I have not been baptized yet will my strong faith and belief work for me if Iam having trouble and/or battling with evil?

I would also like to add Iam looking forward to getting baptized soon ,and wanted to know if prayer is still effective for me. P.s I need to work on my swearing; when Iam playing sports I tend to get competitive and swear. I want to get delivered from the bad habits. Thank you. :)

Personally, I feel if someone is truly saved they cannot lose that salvation. I do feel however that some people are "falsely" saved. Meaning that they got it in to it and tried it out but never really had their heart into it. They say they accepted Jesus Christ as their savior but didn't mean it and never tried to live for him. I believe, personally a person can be "falsely" saved but cannot lose their salvation if they truly are.

God Bless

baptism is the outward expression of what has happened to our spirit. it is also a reminder of what has happened to us spiritually
prayer is ALWAYS effective
i had a problem earlier when it came to swearing... the key thing I did is to memorize a bible verse that reminds me about my language. the one that i memorized was Ephesians 4:29... with that, every time i swore, i reminded myself of that verse, confessed, repented, and made the conscious effort top not swear anymore. that's what helped me.

prayers go out to you, beloved sister :)

That's just it grandpa, it is His Divine grace working in us and flowing through us that that empowers to turn away from sinful and selfish desires. If His light is truly in us then we must draw on His light in the moment of temptation.

No one here is saying that Jesus withdraws His love from us when we sin. His love is why He is faithful & forgives us when we do sin. What we are referring to is an intimate relationship with the indwelling Christ where a believer, following Christ's example, learns to surrenders him or herself fully to the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Divine Nature which is Grace.

Are we perfect in this? Not me. However, scripture promises that in time, as we learn surrender those issues in our lives that are not of God and begin to walk in the grace of God outwardly, He sanctifies and makes us pure.

No he doesn't but we can't utilize those gifts if we do not understand them.

Amen. No where in scripture does Imputed Righteousness give a person a license to sin. In fact, scripture says otherwise. Could it be the modern popular idea of grace and righteousness has been diluted over the centuries that it has become polluted? Can it be that theologians have applied human limitations based soley on carnal experience and understanding on what are the divine attributes of God which are beyond human comprehension? I think so. :)

License to sin? You'll have to explain how you equate my faith in the Power of God with a license to sin.

John 10:27-29 (KJV)
27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (the saved)
28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Ye it is the saved that hears Jesus voice, Zilla
