Matthew12-30Mark9-40Luke11-23John8-47.png

Matthew 12 v 30 (Mark 9 v 40 & Luke 11 v 23), John 8 v 47 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.

It is amazing how many here do not recognize the Words of God.

John8-47Matthew13-11-2Corinthians4-4Romans8-9b.png

“Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.” The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. John 8 v 47; Matthew 13 v 11; 2 Corinthians ch 4 v 4; Romans 8 v 9b

cute little CDS comment like TDS. don't ignore the text and The Person of Christ who is speaking. I careless about John Calvin. He is not authrotative.
But you keep bringing him into conversations.

Yes there is providence, but God does not ever force anyone and people can refuse, other than that completely agree.

To get what was owed to them, they had to be placed into Christ. Jesus said that He would not lose one of them, and He didn't accept Judas, as was prophesied. They were already promised something that only could be given to them after the DRA. And they could only receive it when they are placed in Christ. You have to account for this, or it's a suppressing the Truth theology.

Your salvation isn't about you. It's about the God who saved you. When people make history, even their own particular story by making it about themselves, they have missed the point.
Agreed. It's amazing that God would send his only begotten Son to this dark world, die on a cross for the sins of all man, and resurrect the third day...all that man has an opportunity to be saved. Amazing grace!

Psalm147-5-Isaiah40-28b-Jeremiah32-17b-Isaiah55-9-Job36-5.png

Psalm 147 verse 5, Isaiah 40 verse 28b, Jeremiah 32 verse 17b, Isaiah 55 verse 9, Job 36 verse 5 ~ Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit. Psalm 147 verse 5 His understanding is beyond searching out. Isaiah 40 verse 28b Nothing is too difficult for You! Jeremiah 32 verse 17b For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55 verse 9 His understanding is beyond searching out. Isaiah 40 verse 28b He is mighty in strength of understanding. Job 36 verse 5

Nope. What is the Gospel message? Believe and be saved. Not be saved and believe.
Romans 10
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

1. Preacher sent
2. Preacher preaches the gospel
3. They hear the gospel
4. They believe the gospel
5. They call on the name of the Lord for salvation

Pretty straight forward

God wasn't in Christ to make reconciliation possible. He was through Christ actually reconciling people to Himself.

No, the concept of Calvin's sovereignty is not in the bible.
We found out earlier today that the same people who lie about Calvin and attribute things to
him which he did not do so they can condemn him, justify Paul doing the very same things.

Such hypocrisy! Should we be surprised???

Define what you call sovereign. Kings are sovereign rulers. God is almighty. Big, big difference.
I don't disagree that God is almighty. That doesn't preclude Him being sovereign. In fact, He is sovereign because He is omnipotent. I think you are just being a little OCD about the use of words.
