2 Peter 1 verse 1 To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours. Jude ch 1 verse 3 contend earnestly for the faith entrusted once for all to the saints. Acts 13 verse 48 All who were appointed for eternal life believed. Acts 16 verse 14 The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. John 6 verse 44 “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him." John 6 verse 37a Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me. Philippians 1 verse 6 being confident of this, that He Who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. Philippians 1 verse 29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him. Romans 12 verse 3b think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you. 2 Timothy 2 verse 25b hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth. Isaiah 65 verse 1 “I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me." God foreknew, chose, predestined, and saved us.

We know when you are dishonest that it is your choice and nobody making you do it.

Lady, you do not know a single thing about me.

Typing a verse is one thing, but adding your words to it, is presumption played out from someone who thinks they have a corner on truth when self righteousness spills from your posts.

Be careful of calling others dishonest when you exemplify the word.

Your imagination paints an interesting picture of your ideas of women

Nonsense and rabbit tails

Ok so you make up stuff and try to make it stick. Your music is off key.
. How were these saved according to their testimony Rev 5:9-10

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

From-Romans7-18-19.png

From Romans 7 verses 18-19 Journey from Inability to Ability I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out... I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do. Praise be to God for circumcising my sinful nature, causing me to obey by putting His Holy Spirit in me, and giving me a new heart.

He successfully accomplished the resurrection of the dead, as all will be raised, by grace, either to eternal life or to eternal judgment, through faith. That is the will of God.
Did He successfully save them He died for ? Yes or No. He was sent on a saving mission Lk 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Was He 100% successful in seeking and saving that which was lost ?

Now you dodging my questions, Im not answering you, read my post and figure it out
Galatians 4

After that ye are known of God...

A point in time God knows you as a son. It's not before the foundation of the world. How does one become a son of God?

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

How does God know those who are his?

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Once one receives Jesus Christ through the preaching of the gospel, God seals him with his Spirit and that man has power to become a son of God. God now knows that man as a son through his Spirit he has placed within him.

Give it up. Copy/paste as a contributor to the forum is well documented and we just about all used it at one time or another, while giving the source of course.

However, in your case, without copy/paste you are silent on the subject of your own thread.

Their evil ways were their "works". They had been saved by God and that salvation was manifested by them ceasing from their works: they ceased outwardly from their works for salvation, because inwardly, they had been given new hearts by God: they were moved by Him to cease from the works of their hands. Because of that, God repented and did not destroy them physically neither would He destroy them spiritually. They were used by God in Scripture to be a picture of salvation
Wow! Let's not add more to scripture than what's actually there. I realize you must in order to suffice your theology.

Let's simplify things:
1. Did God say he was going to overthrow Nineveh in forty days? Abolutely
2. Did God overthrow Nineveh in forty days? Nope
3. Why didn't God ovrthrow Nineveh in forty days? Nineveh repented at the preaching of God's word.
4. What was the response of God? God did not do what he said he was going to do. He did not overthrow them.

How were they healed according to 1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
The word healed iaomai :

  1. to cure, heal
  2. to make whole
    1. to free from errors and sins, to bring about (one's) salvation

How were they healed, how was their salvation brought about according to this SCRIPTURE ?

I'm not adding to it - you don't understand it.
You didn't read it, or what Jesus said about it closely enough - you don't get the why

Paul warns against men sneaking into silly women's homes and leading them astray.

We, have you.

Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Consult the gospels but especially the specifics of the death and resurrection of Christ. An interesting fact, is that before Jesus died He healed people. It was not until His resurrection, that salvation is offered to all.

Do you need healing?

Classic offerings of 'I don't know so here is a bunch of words I found somewhere'. I disagree he got ahead of anyone though

He starts a thread but has no idea what it's about.

Some people despise the idea of having been devoted to something and refusing to believe they have been deceived.
The power of denial is what got Satan's angels to reject the Lord.

It's why Eisenhower had German citizens walk through the concentration camp to stop future denial.

General Dwight D. Eisenhower had Germans living near the Ohrdruf concentration camp to witness the atrocities after its liberation, believing it was essential for them to confront the reality of Nazi crimes. This was part of his effort to ensure that the truth of the Holocaust would not be denied in the future.

Denial is a powerful aspect of the sin nature. It is why the Lord is patient with stupid believers, allowing them to live longer in attempt to get some to finally realize what the truth is.

Yes, 'stupid believers'...
That is the way to word it.
For, it is how God words it in Proverbs 12:1

"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid."

And, yes. We must have stupid believers amongst us.
For all of us are/were until we learn better.

God is not allowing for anything bad to get by his inspection before we enter Heaven without being exposed.

Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself
and take up his cross and follow Me." Matthew 16:24

Does God's word always accomplish its purpose when sent forth?

Did God send His word to Nineveh?

Did the people get saved?

Wasn't salvation God's purpose?

Isaiah 45
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.

Evil was the way they described disasters.
Like the recent earthquakes in Venezuela would have been called a great evil fell upon the nation.

It does not mean God created people to be evil.

To ‘preach’ Christ, but not make mention of those for whom He died, the elect of God who have been entrusted to Him, is to be silent about what exactly Christ has done in and through His death. THE MERE MENTION OF CHRIST’S DEATH OBLIGATES THE PREACHER TO STATE WHO HE DIED FOR. A statement like ‘He died for sinners’ will not cut it, because a person can think that this means He died for everyone. Saying, ‘His death atoned for sin’, also falls well short of the mark of what it is to preach Christ and Him crucified—what Christ has done by His death—because it can leave the hearer to think that Christ has atoned for everyone’s sins and that salvation cannot take place unless a person makes his choice for Christ. The proper and only way to preach Christ aright is to state clearly that He died for the elect of God, that He paid the penalty for their sins that were imputed to Him, and that His Righteousness is/will be imputed to them. Anything short of this is to NOT preach Christ!https://www.godsonlygospel.com/the-doctrines-of-the-gospel-part-5 7
I would like to have your opinion on who are the elect of God and what happens to the non elect?

I honestly fail to see or understand where these Calvinists give Jesus any credit whatsoever. Since God has decided they are
saved, they have a free pass. They do not need Jesus.

Further, we have the God who created evil. That lines up with Him deciding that hell will have lots of human company even though hell was designed for the devil and his angels.

A 16th century Catholic raised person named John Calvin has done his part to make the devil proud.

And yeah, stupid fits.

He died for those who would scream that they had no choice, and that God is unfair to only die for his favorites.
