I was simply employing your logic. If I quote Paul and have a problem with him, I naturally thought you quoting Paul meant the same thing.

Since you believe I have twisted the word of God, please share how. My argument is that salvation is by grace. I have posited that grace is the exercise of God's power in/on/through an individual. My conclusion is that salvation is accomplished by the activity of God as He exercises His power on behalf of an individual. What's twisted?
She is.

Since when did you start basing your beliefs on scripture. You deny scripture.

If you want to have some validity, answer the panel that @Magenta posted and I'm sure will repost. Until then, you are just a caricature of yourself.
I am not sure which panel you mean...:)

Jeremiah9-23-24-1-Corinthians-1-31.png

Jeremiah 9 v 23-24, 1 Corinthians ch 1 v 31 This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, nor the strong man in his strength, nor the wealthy man in his riches. But let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, who exercises loving devotion, justice and righteousness on the earth - for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. As it is written, “He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.”

You're fine until your final statement. God doesn't simply restrain the flesh, He does so by giving new hearts and spirits, and placing His Spirit within the individuals. This is why believers are new creations. God transforms the individuals.
You are totally misunderstanding what I said.

He restrains our flesh by Grace so the soul is freed to believe if he should want to.
Without Grace no one could believe.

If that soul believes?

Then! He gives the new heart by the Spirit giving birth to a new human spirit = regeneration.

"Flesh gives birth to flesh,
but the Spirit gives birth to spirit."

John 3:6

If he gives birth to spirit?
That means we did not have a dead spirit.
It is a new human spirit.

2-Corinthians4-4.png

2 Corinthians 4 verses 3-4 ~ 2 Corinthians 4 verse 4 ~ Even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God.
So those born lost go to hell?

Proverbs5-22-23Matthew15-19Job4-8.png

The iniquities of a wicked man entrap him; the cords of his sin entangle him. He dies for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander. Those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same. Proverbs 5 v 22-23, Matthew 15 v 19, Job 4 v 8

1-Corinthians3-6-7s.png

1 Corinthians 3 v 6-7 I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God Who makes things grow.

Spirit giving birth to spirit is the grace that God exercises in salvation. So is the giving of a new heart and placing the Spirit within an individual. The result of that activity by God is that the individual believes.

They way I have understood your argument is that you believe God acts on behalf of the individual freeing them to choose to believe or not. This in my view is not simply grace, but adds to grace.

If I have misrepresented your understanding, my sincere apology. But I'm still not clear whether you believe God simply frees the will of the individual which leads to a choice or transforms the individual and results in faith.

1-Corinthians4-7b-John3-27-Romans9-15-16s.png

1 Corinthians 4 v 7b, John 3 v 27, Romans 9 v 15-16 ~ What do you have that you did not receive? And if also you did receive it, why do you boast as not having received it? John replied, “A man can receive only what is given him from heaven.” “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

Man is born in transgression and sin (Psalm 51 verse 5, 58 verse 3), dead in transgressions (Ephesians 2 verse 5), his heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure (Jeremiah 17 verse 9), held captive by a love for sin (John 3 verse 19; John 8 verse 34), so that he will not seek God (Romans 3 verses 10-11), because he loves the darkness (John 3 verse 19), and does not understand the things of God (1 Corinthians 2 verse 14), nor can he change himself (Jeremiah 13 verse 23). He suppresses the truth of God in unrighteousness (Romans 1 verse 18) and continues to willfully live in sin because he is totally depraved; this sinful lifestyle seems right to men (Proverbs 14 verse 12); they reject the gospel of Christ as foolishness (1 Corinthians 1 verse 18), and their mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. (Romans 8 verse 7).

Faith is not a gift in that line, Koine Greek makes it clear, not of yourselves is by grace and the gift is salvation.

Sad when you become life up to the stereotype ...but you are wrong, plain and simple.
Paul wrote to the Philippian believers:

(Php 1:29 NKJV) For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

So belief/faith is indeed a gift granted by God.

Philippians1-29a-Romans8-17be.png

Philippians 1 verse 29a + Romans 8 verse 17b ~ For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him. Indeed, we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.

How could omniscient God have man created with a 'hands off' policy concerning the volition of man?
If I understand things correctly, God acts like the author of a novel, in which each human life is a character. We must not assume that God and humans operate on the same causal plane. The author/character analogy says they do not. God’s causation is meta‑causal (author-level). Human causation is intra‑causal (character-level). Once we separate the planes, the contradiction disappears.

Wrong again, we need to go back to the Greek because Greek is a gendered language, and when verses are being used to support a false soteriology I will definitely go to the biblical scholars who have studied Koine Greek.
You think that the reformed teachers don't know Koine Greek? There are many reformed scholars. There are scholars on both sides

Not a sheep? That would explain a lot. I suppose those who agreed with you are not sheep, either.

John10-27-28es.png

John 10 verses 27-28 My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.
:)
Can you show me where Gentiles are called sheep? And please, not the verse that states, I have other sheep that are not of this fold. That's not a reference to Gentiles.
