The in whom there is Jesus Christ, they had a legal and election union in Him Fph 1:4,7 this shows exactly who the Gospel is sent to, them who had been chosen in Christ before the foundation,and who had been redeemed by His blood with forgiveness of sins as theirs Vs 7, God sends them the good news of their salvation, having quicked them so they can have a vital experience of their salvation.
