Yes it is. The other day I was called a degenerate for believing the Bible and then told that quoting
the Bible is false teaching. Some of these folks are so attached to their un-Biblical opinions that they
would rather rewrite the very words of Jesus Christ Himself and blaspheme God than ever admit they
were wrong while they regularly contradict and outright deny what is explicitly written in Scripture.

It seems the Arminian ideology of Conditional Election affords the same supposition on God's part as does Unconditional Election.

God predestined whom he will Save. Others are destined to live and die in their Sins.

The Arminians difference is,they believe they can elect to refuse Salvation when God predestined them to be called into it.

While Calvinists think to themselves, who could possibly hear God's invitation into His grace and willingly choose to say,no thanks, I prefer Hell.

Take note, since you are participating in this thread, that if someone rejects Calvinism and the tenents thereof, that does not automatically make them an Arminian. That is a false assumption so please don't just assume things about others.

Who extrapolated teachings of a Christ so to make a concise encapsulation of what Jesus taught throughout the 3 New Testament Books of Matthew,Mark,and John.

However, my point is, Calvin gleaned his understanding,and created a doctrine attributed to him later, from the teachings of Jesus.

No different than what today are Methodist teachings attributed to John Wesley. Or, Presbyterianism, attributed to John Knox, who studied under John Calvin.

For salvation?
Or, for what our salvation would bestow upon us once we were saved?

God the Father chose from out from of all the souls whom God knew would believe.
To have only certain ones to become the Bride of Christ.
That is why it says specifically in Ephesians 1:4, that we were chosen IN Him.

For where was the bride of Adam being hidden before she was brought forth?
She was being hid "in Adam."

It does not say we were chosen for salvation before the foundation of the world.
But, rather...

He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless ​
