First of all I stated a truth many do claim others are sinful to ease their own sinful consciences. Furthermore I have come to understand that most people who defend sin do so for a reason
but did you not claim i was sinful?

and could you find a single post where i defend sin? or any other post by anyone else on this forum who defends sin? i'd like to see it - you said it's truth.

we hear a lot about these "people" who defend sin, but i haven't seen any.

i'll look more closely i suppose.

the poor folks deceived by perfectionist delusion do in a sense defend their sin by denying they have any. in that case i suppose the subject has come up.

truth not in us? that's a serious condition.
Very serious

1 John 2
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

How did Jesus walk? He was sinless. If you claim His name and do not keep His commandment you are a liar, and the truth is not in you
truth not in us? that's a serious condition.
Yes zone very serious indeed

This is a false gospel

To believe that Jesus came to save us from the penalty of sin only is a dire mistake. Jesus came to save us from sin itself, and thereby saving us from the penalty of sin. The word tells us in Hebrews 10:26-31, and 2nd Peter 2:20-22 that those that continue in sin after coming into faith with Jesus will not only suffer in Hell with unbelievers, but will suffer a greater damnation than those that have never believed.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Romans 6
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Col 2

13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

You should study more. What Zone said was completely correct.

I meant now, and yes i am able or rather Christ in me is able. Because you do not like the truth I speak doesnt mean I do not love. You do not only misrepresent Christ and His gospel, now you ,misrepresent love
but: we're not interested in our conceptions of love as we tell ourselves what is acceptable to God. we are interested in His requirements.

i'm pretty sure only Jesus loved perfectly.

i actually love the truth.

sinlessness in this life is not the truth however.

could you present the gospel then? it may clear up misunderstandings.

Another verse which proves Zone correct!

1 Thessalonians 1:10
and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

You refuse to even want to understand, we are delivered from the penalty of sin, because we have been delivered from sin itself. you put the cart before the horse, and could care less about truth

Might as well give it up, i believe God's word, not yours, and certainly not Zone's
so in other words. the passages I posted are not in the word of God. they are lies?

Because that is what you are saying.

you just slammed yourself my friend!
You call god a liar. And you called Paul a liar. I don't think they like that very much. But people like you do not care do you?

No. We are delivered form the penalty of sin. because the penalty of sin is death.

VChrist did not live a sinless life so we could. he lived a sinless life so he could die for us. If he sinned, his death would have been mute, because he would not have been able to be the innocent redeemer

Jesus died in our place. That is what he did. if his death did not redeem us from sin, we will still go to hell. because we have still sinned.

you are confused..
where do you come up with this crap?

God's word is true, it is you that are full of lies.
well if Gods word are true. Then Jesus died to remove the penalty of sin, and save us from the wrath of God which is to come. And John said if we say we are sinless we have no truth in us

Gods word said it. You deny it. so your denying Gods word.

You confuse love with hate

Right there you just defended sin

What is the gist of the first 8 chapters of Romans? particularly 4&5?
by the way...its sinful to throw false accusations around..and also
false claims just to make a personal point.

first of all, i didn't make the qualification only. i was simply trying to insert The Gospel into your "Christ as example" doctrine.

and none of the passages you quoted say what you want them to say: suffering in hell.

Hebrews is describing jews who came close enough to see and experience the message, but turned back to Judaism.

John is presenting the Gospel. thank you. it's Wonderful.

and do you believe Paul achieved sinlessness?

the issue is not shall we continue in a life of sin (continually and willfully, God forbid), though that is the only ledge the perfectionists have to stand on. all Christians know they are being transformed.

the issue is, have you yourself achieved sinlessness? if your answer is yes, you do not yet understand the Law, nor the righteousness of God according to Law.

this is why we need a righteousness not our own according to Law, but rather the Righteousness of God apart from the Law.....and that received by Grace through Faith in.....what?

lol. Just like the person who refused to love God above all else. This person can't see his own sin, and claims to be perfect.. And you exposed him!
