You are missing the point.
She claims to not be a Calvinist.
Yet believes in irresistible grace.
And, then she can not figure out why others think she is a Calvinist?
Maybe not in name. But she is a Calvinist.
Wrong as usual. Calvinists follow Calvin. She follows Christ. And if you understood grace and the power of God, you too would understand why grace is irresistible.

So we can learn how to NOT read, interpret and cite scripture?

The devil and his demons has been helping calvinists read, interpret and cite scripture from the devil's point of view for a long time.

This is why there is so much false doctrine floating around to day because doctrines of demons have infiltrated the churches and corrupted most who claim to be Christian

if you understood grace and the power of God, you too would understand why grace is irresistible.

If grace was actually irresistible, then ALL would be getting born again.
God's Word clearly tells us that His grace has been poured out upon ALL men

Titus 2:11,12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Sounds like some people are blaming the Lord, claiming it's His fault that not everyone is getting saved.

Blaming the Lord does not end well

But, the calvinists go much further claiming God actually WANTS most people to go to hell! clueless-doh.gif

They are confusing God with the devil thinking he's the same guy. This is the confusion one gets when they caucus with the calvinists

Sadly the "god" you follow claims he decided only a few people were created to be saved and he created all the rest for no other reason than to be fuel for the fires of hell.
Where have I said such a thing? Please show me, or recant and apologize for your false accusation.

I will not hold my breath. False accusations are rife with FWers.

Matthew7-17-18-Luke6-4afrom-John15-4-5.png

Matthew 7 v 17-18, Luke 6 v 4a and from John 15 v 4-5 ~ Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. For each tree is known by its own fruit. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. I am the vine and you are the branches. Apart from Me you can do nothing.

The true gospel instructs that the one true God of the Bible exists in a Trinity of persons, and each person is fully God. God’s Word teaches that the Father elected, the Son redeemed, and the Spirit regenerates and seals. Thus, only the elect of God for whom Christ died will be regenerated sealed by the Spirit. This is revealed here Matt 28:19

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: This acknowledges that all Three Beings in the One Godhead has a vital role in the saving of Gods Elect 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 7

So you did not see the scriptures in the New Testament saying He died for the sins of the entire world then?

You should get to know the bible much much better so you won't be deceived by calvinism which believes God actually forbids most people from being saved as they ignore and twist the scriptures

Calvinism teaches it's God's will for most people to go to hell as the god they serve is a dark, mean task master who has no mercy which of course is the devil, not the Lord Jesus.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: This acknowledges that all Three Beings in the One Godhead has a vital role in the saving of Gods Elect 1 Pet 1:2

God's Word teaches that all He foreknew (He knew in advance of every person that would ever be born) are predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, therefore He has provided a pathway of every person ever born to obtain salvation thru Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:29,30
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

The calvinists love to get on their high horse and falsely claim God saved them but He declined to provide salvation for the entire world as the scriptures teach. They are void of understanding which is why they make these false claims which they make due to their willingness to reject the whole counsel of God. (some scriptures they will always reject, at the behest of the devil who blinded them)

Is Gene still bearing false witness about me?

Who do you have doing the offering in scenario number one? Some say God's grace is irresistible.

If I think about it in terms of how Peter expressed it:

Lord where would we go? And that is what it comes down to for some.

The Truth is revealed, what are they going to do? Walk away from it?

If they acknowledge it as Truth, only a fool would walk...

So Jesus asked the Twelve, “Do you want to leave too?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would
we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that You are the Holy One of God.”

Yes, I did understand that... and I was speaking to having had the Truth revealed, and being like Peter.
I think you misunderstood my intent... that being, when someone is able to acknowledge the Truth of
God's Word, Who walks away from it? That is why I mentioned it being believed that God's grace is
irresistible. Someone who acknowledges the Truth and walks in it is a Christian.

Well that wasn't even the verse under consideration but thanks for the answer and you make
it sound like God's drawing is irresistible so I don't know how you get free will read to that...

Yes, I understand, though Jesus did say that those given to Him by God will come to Him.
There is no, I am giving them the option, they then can choose whether they want to or not.
This is expressed in ways such as irresistible grace, which one way I understand it is, having had
the Holy Spirit convict me of my sinful nature, and my standing before an all powerful and holy
God, and agreeing with Him, certainly knowing how unworthy I am of His love, love which He did
make me very much aware of, as well as His forgiveness through the cross of Christ, even though
I did not understand the cross of Christ at the time... having the truth revealed to me, which is an
act of the Holy Spirit's leading, it is not so much that I chose to believe, but that upon reflection
it was almost like a revelation of suddenly discovering that I did believe... after many years
of running from God in rebellion and defiance, after being raised Roman Catholic and quitting the
church as a teen, and exploring and seeking and practising, for many years, other options I thought
were "spiritual," because anything seemed better than the God of the Bible, and that is the truth of the
incurably wicked heart for humanity as a whole. I was almost fifty when I converted and was baptized.

I had to look that up :D Scripture says we love because He loved us first... and that He chose us. And since the natural man is hostile to God? It seems prevenient grace is unassailable in terms of the order of events in our coming to believe. Though it may be assigned to one specific set of doctrines (Arminian), and conflated with the irresistible grace of Calvinism, I am neither Calvinist nor Arminian. Still, I do not deny that the grace of God played a role, a huge role, in my coming to believe. How could I? I was totally lost without it.

So you did not see the scriptures in the New Testament saying He died for the sins of the entire world then?
Yeah, but its the world of the elect. And if that's not specified, you easily fall into a false gospel. To teach that Christ died for the entire world of mankind, every individual, is a false gospel. Its imperative to specify who Christ died for,i.e His Sheep Jn 10 or His Church as Per Eph 5:25-27

The appearance of grace and the application of it are 2 different things.

Sounds like someone is making stuff up as they go along. I don't blame God for anything. I do, however, ascribe salvation to Him.

And if you read your Bible carefully, you would know that no Calvinist claims God wants people to go to hell. In fact, everyone in hell is there because they fit themselves for destruction.

Perhaps a little more time in scripture and less on websites would be profitable for you.

The scriptural character of God should be accurate and should be defended.
I couldn't agree more. In my view, the fact that God creates evil doesn't say anything negative about him. In my view, God creates stories, and good stories include bad and evil people. Just as it's not evil for an author to create a good story that includes evil characters, it's not evil for God to create a world that includes evil characters.

To be precise, God says he creates both good and evil (Isaiah 45:7). John says the same thing in different language (John 1:3). Paul argues that God CAUSES all things (Romans 8:28). In Romans 9, Paul says that God creates some vessels for destruction and other vessels for mercy.

To teach that Christ died for the entire world of mankind, every individual, is a false gospel.

Thank you for further verifying and demonstrating how calvin's follower continue to cherry pick scripture ignoring all the passages that prove their cultic teachings are well, cultic.

God's Word literally says Jesus died for the sins of the entire world, and calvinists claims God lied in His Word.
This is what happens when people follow a fake "holy spirit" which is actually being taught by demons.

The real Holy Spirit will lead us in to ALL Truth according to Jesus (John 16:13), not bits and pieces.

Its imperative to specify who Christ died for,i.e His Sheep Jn 10 or His Church as Per Eph 5:25-27

What is imperative is that we don't read in to scripture things it does not teach which is the foundation of calvinism. There would be no calvism without reading in to scripture things scripture does not teach

God creates evil doesn't say anything negative about him

No, God created righteousness and lucifer decided to rebel against God and that's what caused evil to come in to being.

It's a tactic long used in military operations to inflict damage on your enemy in such a way to where your enemy doesn't know where the damage came from or how to stop it.

It's a tactical operation by devils to convince people that God is evil and God created evil because when people believe this they will just lay down and stop opposing evil coming in to their lives. This is what has sadly happened to those that have embraced calvinism

Now, here's what God said about how evil got started:

Ezekiel 28:15 (speaking of lucifer)
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

God created lucifer perfect... until lucifer decided to be in opposition to God:

Isaiah 14:13 (speaking of lucifer)
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

This is when lucifer was originally cast down from Heaven:

Luke 10:18
And he said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Isaiah 45:7 has been badly butchered and is not reflective of what the Lord says in 1 John 1:5 - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

It's sad that some folks accept the devil's lies about God which are designed by satan to make them believe God puts evil on His own people tricking them to lay down under satanic attack and receive defeat having become convinced it's the Lord doing it but it's actually bowing down to darkness allowing devils to bring defeat upon them.

This is the classic tactic used in times of war to hit your enemy in such a way they they don't know they just got hit by their enemy.

This is how satan makes a fool out of Christians!

1 John 1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

The Good News is what God has done to reconcile man to Himself; not what man does in response.

Every person has equal opportunity to respond to what Jesus has done by turning away from their sin and accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

ALL have opportunity to so since righteousness has come upon All men:

Romans 5:18,19
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Calvinists keep claiming Romans 5:18,19 is a lie, but they are mistaken as usual.

What is imperative is that we don't read in to scripture things it does not teach which is the foundation of calvinism. There would be no calvism without reading in to scripture things scripture does not teach
Again, if we neglect to teach in the Gospel, who Jesus specifically died for, and what it actually finished/accomplished, you preach a false gospel.

Really? What about the indigenous people in the New World who lived and died and never heard about Jesus or the Bible?

You should read your Bible more as well. The Bible clearly teaches that God saves and people fit themselves for destruction.

Who do you believe saves?

We already went through the meaning of this passage in context, and it has nothing to do with being consigned to hell.

Take your own for advice for goodness sake so you will no longer be teaching a false Gospel, it is quite important!!
