I feel like finding a potential partner has gotten harder and harder over the last few years. In my head, college would open up many more opportunities to find someone who shares the same values and faith that I do. However, I go to one of the biggest "party" colleges in the country. Many people find their spouses during this time, but my odds are looking poorer and poorer. Is/has anyone going/gone through this? How should I navigate finding my future wife?

Generally speaking, I believe that secular colleges are where a lot of people lose their faith or at least have it seriously challenged, and I believe that different studies have suggested or proven that.

Does your college have a "Bible club" or some other sort of Christian fellowship on campus? I am thinking that a young woman who would be seeking after God in a secular environment might be a good match for you.

I spent 5 years of my life at WVU.
It was rated the biggest party school by some dumb magazine.
I wasn't interested in partying.
I'll share my personal experiences as a growing believer at the time after you have the chance to listen to this short video.

One of my sons met his wife in a Christian group on the MIT campus. The biggest barriers are usually found within oneself. For example, I'm an introvert, don't care for crowds or parties... that would make it difficult to find a potential spouse unless we stumbled upon each other.

What I'm getting at, is, it's up to you. Ask God for help and be friendly and welcoming to any woman you might feel an attraction to.

What the issue is...
Decades ago women went to College not to get a degree (despite the lip service to their parents) but to find a great husband with a college degree. IOW an educated man with a college degree was definitely going to go much further in life and make a better income than an uneducated man was.

Today?
Men are no longer interested in college degrees and the debt that accompanies the degree. (Which means less and less as time moves forward)
There are a few degrees that are still valued....but that's another subject.

Men are getting trade school training....like instrumentation tech certifications (a type of industrial electrician).
These guys are primadonnas who tell employers what they are going to pay....just for them to show up and say,

"Yep, you are right. You needed to call me or someone like me because it's broke and only a guy like me can fix it." while handing them an invoice....just for the consultation.

Only 30% of women are interested in having children and families anymore. Those women at college definitely are NOT. Stay away from them. Far far away....thank me later for the advice.

Find you a barely graduated from High School girl who loves going to church....she likely is only interested in family and children....a low body count woman.

The higher the body count the more likely she will divorce you one day just to get at your salary so she can date gym bros.
