Some people these days apparently think Jesus is an idiot Who doesn't kn ow what He's talking about and does not do what He says He's going to do
John18-37b-John8-47-Matthew13-11b.png

John 18 v 37b John 8 v 47 Matthew 13 v 11b For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice. Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Plus 2 Timothy 1 v 9, He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.

He's a heretic just like John Calvin.

They competed with each other to see who could be the bigger heretic!
Free willers are Pelagian heretics.

Pelagianheretics.png

Pelagian heretics insist man is inherently good. From within the hearts of men come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, debauchery, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness. Mark 7 verses 21-22 Every inclination of man's heart is evil from his youth. Genesis 8 verse 21b Who can bring out clean from unclean? No one! Job 14 verse 4 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Matthew 7 verse 18

Some people these days apparently think Jesus is an idiot Who doesn't kn ow what He's talking about and does not do what He says He's going to do

If He was trying to get people to come to Him for salvation and then He refuses to allow them to get born again then they would make Him an idiot and a liar.

This is the portrait of Jesus the calvinists are painting which is one of the many ways we know calvinism is doctrines of demons.

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth ALL men every where to repent:

Salvation has been made available to all which is why God is commanding ALL men every where to repent. This has the calvinists scrambling to find new ways to claim God lied in Acts 17:30

1 Timothy 2:1-4
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Salvation has been made available to all which is why it's God's will that ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. This has the calvinists scrambling to find new ways to claim God lied in 1 Timothy 2:1-4

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

Salvation has been made available to all which is why God is not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance. This has the calvinists scrambling to find new ways to claim God lied in 2 Peter 3:9

1 John 2:2
Jesus is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Salvation has been made available to all which is why God says in His Word that Jesus is the sacrifice for the sins of the entire world. This has the calvinists scrambling to find new ways to claim God lied in 1 John 2:2

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Salvation has been made available to all which is why God says that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This has the calvinists scrambling to find new ways to claim God lied in John 3:16

There's more scripture references where God is saying He has made salvation available to ALL men, but people can easily see that calvinists are purposely twisting and perverting the scriptures which they do at the behest of the dark spirits that they have submitted themselves to.

The Bible is so easy to understand, one has to get help from the devil to misunderstand it. View attachment 291555

Yes the doctrine certainly makes Christ Jesus not very trustworthy ... His offer while heard by many is not a good faith offer

because God must uniquely activate the person first.

John8-47Matthew13-11-2Corinthians4-4Romans8-9b.png

“Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.” The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. John 8 v 47; Matthew 13 v 11; 2 Corinthians ch 4 v 4; Romans 8 v 9b

John Mason:

“However, there is nothing here to suggest that the ‘word of Christ’ is selective, (for the uniquely activated, my words) or anything other than scripture itself.”
(Calvinism: The Road to Nowhere, p.185)

Yes, please explain these scripture quoting.
Both sides welcome. Civil discussion if one is capable. If not capable of civil, please just showcase your true color.
Sorry if you felt I was being uncivil. I always try to be courteous, even when disagreeing, and I truly apologise if you felt I failed this time. That was certainly not my intention.

Yes you were, and my point is no matter whether one states few or a multitude as an error or misrepresentation is not of any significance.. since the doctrine of Limited Atonement, in and of itself, is not supported by scripture.

Members can respond to any post.
Yes , I certainly was not saying that you shouldn't have responded. As you say, members can respond to any post. I was only explaining why I had mentioned the matter of fewness.

Paul is obviously making a connection to the work of Christ ..not individual selection for salvation.

More Newsflash!!

John 20:31: “But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.”

1st Thessalonians 2:13-14: “And for this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received from us the word of God’s message, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.”

The Gospel is where “faith arises.” The reason why many choose not to repent and turn to Christ is because of what God had warned mankind not to do: “Do not harden your hearts.” (Psalm 95:8)

Sadly you put to death the power of the Gospel message in order to elevate your false doctrines of faith before regeneration because according the "doctrines of grace" spiritual life must precede the ability to utilize the faith produced from the preaching of the Gospel.

Scripture is teaches when examined in context that although man may be spiritually dead, the Gospel is alive (Hebrews 4:12), such that according to Jesus, it is “spirit” and “life.” (John 6:63)
It negates your point concerning faith. I get why you don't like it. You have made an idol of the natural fallen man and grant him powers to do things God says he can't while denying God the exercise of His power which He claims to perform. You have a man-centered salvation while salvation is God centric.

Is the story of Daniel in the lion's den about Daniel or about God?

I see, so when a person is lost and ends up burning in hell for all eternity.... that's God's fault for failing to "activate" that person???

The "god" of the calvinists kills, steals, and destroys.

Jesus said they devil does those things, but the calvinists don't think Jesus knows what He's talking about.

That's too bad for them and it's why there aren't any calvinists in Heaven!

That is what would be required if regeneration precedes faith
I’m fine if you don’t want to use the word “regeneration”. I prefer the King James word “quickening” anyway.

They both boil down to the same thing. GOD, reached out to US, not the other way round. We were DEAD, not hurting, not mostly dead , but dead!

We hear the Gospel, our faith THAT GOD GIFTED US is “activated”, “quickened”, or whatever word you like, we believe, and are born again.

I get the impression that those that want to boast and in effect steal some of God’s Glory, really dislike Ephesians 2.

But here it is. It shouldn’t be parsed away. We should rejoice in it!!
So here is your verse you guys keep clamoring isn’t there that says God saved us before we chose Him.

Ephesians 2

By Grace Through Faith

2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins in which you once walked according to the
course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Not true, we are justified by FAITH, not prior to it.
False, they are most certainly Justified by the blood of Christ and Grace of God prior to Faith, in fact, that's the reason why they are given Faith, to seal the Justification they had with God in their minds and esperience.

I wasn't pointing at you. Just generally, if we are mature enough for some debate.

Scripture very plainly says that the natural man (man of flesh) cannot submit and obey.

Do not overlook who he is: the one WITHOUT Christ. Of the world. Who cannot receive the Spirit of Truth.

How simple would it be for you to accept this? It seems to be quite impossible for FWers to do.

They need to align their beliefs with Scripture.

Flesh serves the law of sin and brings forth fruit unto death. Not life. Death.

Flesh serves the law of sin. For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other. Nothing good lives in my flesh. Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin”? Who can bring what is pure from the impure? No one! The flesh brings forth fruit unto death. Romans 7 v 25, Galatians 5 v 17, Romans 7 v 18, Proverbs 20 v 9, Job 14 v 4, Romans 7 v 5 (Romans 8 v 13 and James 1 v 15)
You keep spamming these same verses and photos and they have been addressed over and over again I even gave you a link where each of these is talked about and I posted the explanation. There is a better explanation available than the one you guys are peddle which has to change the meaning of 90% of the Bible and relegate all the "come to me" passages to some silly theatre where the people spoken to DO NOT actually have the capability of coming

Jesus said not all hear and He told us why. I do not change the meaning of Scripture.

You seem to be denying what Jesus said. I do not.

Now Scripture is spam. Interesting.

You are like Anchorite who called praise and worship spam.

And that other guy called it perverted. There are more... a cheat sheet etc.

We are amassing quite a collection of what free willers call Scripture.

They both boil down to the same thing. GOD, reached out US, not the other way round.

Yes and only those who receive God's Word by faith began to have the eyes of their understanding en lighted so they can see the hope of the gospel and answer the Lord's call to action to get born again

The soul of man is made clean by obeying God's Word which is Truth (1 Peter 1:22)

James 1:22
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Welcome to the world of calvinist chicanery and tom foolery - the dark clown show that deceived the masses thru false religious teachings.

a). When Paul called our attention to Israel's Wilderness wanderings, he was using the event as a METAPHOR which represents
our own personal DELIVERANCE from being enslaved to the desires of the flesh

11 Now these things happened to them as examples and were written down as WARNINGS FOR US on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 12 So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall.…
(1 Corinthians 10:11-12)

b) You said that the narrative Paul was citing STRICTLY applies to ancient Israel. However Paul who wrote Corinthians said that it is also meant for US
c). You even go as far as to say 1 Corinthians 10 has nothing to do with spiritual life
Sal
e). I also would appreciate your answering my case against TOTAL DEPRAVITY. Simple denials do not suffice
The Joshua reference is out of context, had nothing to do with the Spiritual things of God as per the Gospel And Im not spending time explaining 1 Cor 10 to you. You guys will wear out somebody explaining scripture to you, and you not going to believe a word of it. I only go into details to posters I believe already have a gospel understanding.

False, they are most certainly Justified by the blood of Christ and Grace of God prior to Faith, in fact, that's the reason why they are given Faith, to seal the Justification they had with God in their minds and esperience.
So the opposite of what the Bible teaches? Gotcha.

Already addressed. The prodigal son was "dead" yet he still came to his senses and returned to the Father who gracefully took the repentant son back.

Calvinist arguments are utter garbage. Really easy to refute, you guys portray yourselves as scholars and intellectuals and use fancy vocabulary and categories like common grace, effectual grace bla bla bla, yet you guys are defending a doctrine that is a laughing stock to actual scholars and to ALL of Christianity before Augustine came along. You are alone in the cult of determinism

Jesus said not all hear and He told us why. I do not change the meaning of Scripture.

You seem to be denying what Jesus said. I do not.
If you claim all the verses where God tells people to repent and turn yet they are incapable, yes you indeed are changing the plain meaning of the text. You have zero reading comprehesion when you read the Bible, yet you are capable of reading a novel or a news paper or watching a movie and when people are told to "come to me" you assume ability, yet when it comes to the Bible you stop behaving like a normal person and enter into some weird esoteric hidden interpretation nobody ever believed.

Not a single person has denied Jesus saying that. You keep spamming that as well, whining about people misrepresenting and lying and you do the same. What is wrong with you?
