Brilliant point. How is it that believers can do nothing apart from Christ, but unbelievers don't need Christ for anything?
I think you hurt their heads…..and pride with that clear question.
Should be fun watching them squirm for an answer.

182 pages. God long ago provided proof and answers. So is this the usual tactic ? Instead of answering the contradictions - they say you just don't understand us and then pose an obvious question as if that makes everything clear as day ?
Bruce Lee thought this would be fun also. And it was fun even though I disagree with you![]()
How is it that believers can do nothing apart from Christ, but unbelievers don't need Christ for anything?
I can do all things through me who strengthens me.Right out of context once again. sigh.
Many of you do.You dont joke about the Cult Of Calvinism.![]()
No. I read your usual biting sarcasm. You must of missed my reply then
I thank God for you and those others like you.If nobody can repent, unless God “works repentance in you”, why didn’t Jesus say, “Let God work repentance in you and make you believe the gospel”?
Calvinists must add words to scripture to make it comply with their mistaken theology.
Humans reject Christ or receive Christ by free will choices.
That’s the only way God can judge them justly.
If individuals have no free will, and God arbitrarily puts repentance into some, while withholding it from others, then no judgment is possible.
You cannot be punished for what you were unable to do. You cannot be judged based on what God did not do for you.
This shows Calvinism to be the anti-gospel.
Mark 1:14,15
Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
You need repentance.Yes, but you need glasses.
Is that deflection or leading the witness ? My lawyer objects to the question , the opposition is trying to put words in my mouth
You can't answer. Your deflections show that.Which doesn't prove your position - but you think it does - that's why I refused to answer

You are the special ones. We are scum.......Calvies in a nutshell.I find your mockery to display like a contagion. You and others who sound like you lack grace, respect for the Bible, and God,and are devoid of conversational common decency.
You all are obviously not here to discuss God's words.
You do not thrive in the light and joy of Christ.
You thrive in your efforts to bring darkness into this community. To assail our faith,God's words,Jesus and His sacrifice, and His ministry on Earth.
You all mock, ridicule, relish writing ad hominems thinking of those as assault weapons directed at those you despise.
And the whole time that you waste your time thinking of ways to hurt us,you fail to realize, you can't.
But you can lead us to pity you in your fallen state. While at the same time, being grateful for your presence.
Because with every post you reiterate the truth of God's words in 1Corinthians 2, and elsewhere.
Just as God wills, you all are here to make us even more grateful being the Elect.
That's not Calvinism. That's Gospel.
That's the doctrine of Humanism and Atheism.I can do all things through me who strengthens me.
Many here by their own admission are the master of their fate and the captain of their soul. That's the doctrine of Humanism and Atheism.
Also known as Autodeism , Autotheism. Self as god.Creator of ones destiny.
I saw that. Another reason why they are not equipped to discuss God's words. Many here by their own admission are the master of their fate and the captain of their soul.
Saul and Paul are the same person. Saul was his Hebrew name, and Paul his Latin name. He wasn't like Abram, whose name was changed by God to Abraham. He just has two versions of the same name:Saul maybe but Paul was true to the faith - Maybe Calvinism can be compare to Saul - thinking they are doing Gods work but not
Yes but before he converted from Judaism he was always referred to as Saul, and after Paul, I was referring to acts after coversionSaul and Paul are the same person. (Act 13:9 NKJV) Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him
Making the accusation that people who believe the doctrines of grace, known by some as "Calvinism", believe that they are special, and that those who don't believe as they do are "scum" needs some kind of evidence. I believe the doctrines of grace, but I don't regard those who don't believe them as scum, and I have not seen any post from a believer in the doctrines of grace that says anything resembling "Look at me. I'm special. If you don't believe as I do, you are scum." Do you have evidence for your assertion? You are the special ones. We are scum.......Calvies in a nutshell.
