PassageCovenant bloodPeriod of abstention/separationFuture fulfilment
Mark 14:24–25“blood of the new testament”“I will drink no more”“in the kingdom of God”
Matthew 26:28–29“blood of the new testament”“I will not drink henceforth”“with you in my Father’s kingdom”
Luke 22:16–20“new testament in my blood”no more eating or drinkingfulfilled when the Kingdom comes
1 Corinthians 11:25–26“new testament in my blood”Church remembers Him“till he come”
For the nuptial interpretation, Matthew 26:29 is particularly striking because Jesus says that He will drink it new “with you” in the Father’s Kingdom. That most clearly expresses the future reunion and celebratory banquet.

The ritual announcement is:

“Behold, the bridegroom comes; go ye out to meet him.”
Matthew 25:6

In Hebrew it is commonly rendered:

הִנֵּה הֶחָתָן בָּא — צְאוּ לִקְרָאתוֹ
Hinnēh he-chatan ba; tze’u liqrato
“Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him.”

The crucial term is the midnight cry—Greek:

κραυγὴ γέγονεν — kraugē gegonen
“a cry/shout arose.”

In the wedding picture, a member of the groom’s party precedes him and announces his unexpected arrival. The bride and attendants then go out to meet and accompany him.

This corresponds closely to the language of the harpazō:

  • Matthew 25:6: the midnight cry announces the bridegroom.
  • John 14:3: “I will come again, and receive you unto myself.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16: the Lord descends “with a shout … and with the trump of God.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:17: the saints are caught up—harpagēsometha—to meet the Lord.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:52: the transformation occurs “at the last trump.”

The particularly strong verbal parallel is the command:

“Go ye out to meet him”

and Paul’s:

“to meet the Lord in the air.”

Both use the meeting concept—Greek apantēsis—the arrival of an important person followed by an escorting reception. Matthew 25:6 therefore supplies the wedding announcement:

“Behold, the Bridegroom!”

while 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 supplies its prophetic realization in the Church’s harpazō.

So here is confirmation from you that Biblical interpretations and geopolitical for many people are connected?
That of course means that this whole time I have not been off topic.

So what then has been motivating you to send me off to all these different places including hell?
Why would you bother to tell someone who has obviously read the Bible from cover to cover many times over before you were in nappies to read the Bible?
What really led you to telling me that I do not believe the Bible?
Be honest, because it is already obvious to everyone.

I pointed out to you that the Gog/Magog references in Rev.20 and Ezekiel 38 are two events with ONE thing in common.
That is not complicated, and it makes sense to me.
If I believe the Bible in a way that makes sense, that does not make me an unbeliever.
The trouble is that it also makes sense to you, and you have so much pride that you can not make an adjustment even that small.

Take a break from moralizing and show some humility for a change.

Well it's a heresy not an interpretation. It's connected to your thought patterns and why you're in error and also why you can't understand the Bible and also why you lack faith.

I send you no where, I'm telling you the destination that your heresy will take you to. Say I were never even born, your heresy will still get you sent to hellfire guaranteed because of the rejection of the Gospel and God. So for my part I am compelled by the Christian verity to tell you the truth so that you have a chance to escape the heresy and summary hellfire, or so that on Judgment Day you have no excuses. This is war, you can abandon your evil side and surrender to Lord Jesus and live or you can die with the enemy and no pity party nor excuses.

You may have some emotional attachment to this created dual track schedule first concocted by Lacunza, but if you think rationally it cannot be disputed that Paul was writing to his contemporaries about what was happening at that time.
Looks like Lacunza was very much on the right track. Good for him. Evidently the persecutions he suffered bore much fruit.

But my point is this:
The HEBREW marriage protocols, so noted and confirmed by Jesus and Paul, predate Lacunza by millenia. He simply rediscovered SOME of it in due course of his studies.

As a premier Messianic Jewish theologian and the founder of Ariel Ministries, Fruchtenbaum has spent decades teaching that you cannot fully unlock New Testament prophecy without viewing it through the lens of **ancient Near Eastern and Jewish wedding customs**.

For Fruchtenbaum, the sequence of the Hebrew wedding is the definitive template for Christ and the Church, perfectly mapping out a Pre-Tribulation Rapture and a literal seven-year stay in the Father's house.

## How Fruchtenbaum Connects the Wedding to the Rapture
In his systematic theology (such as *The Footsteps of the Messiah*), Fruchtenbaum breaks down the ancient wedding into distinct phases, showing how the *harpazo* fits precisely into the timeline:

### 1. The Shidduchin (The Betrothal & Price)
In ancient times, the father of the groom made the arrangement and a price (**Mohar**) was paid.
* **The Antitype:** God the Father chose the Bride, and Jesus paid the ultimate price with His own blood to purchase her (1\text{ Corinthians }6:20).

### 2. The Separation & Preparation of the Room
Once betrothed, the groom returned to his father’s house. He spent roughly a year building a wedding chamber (**Huppah**) or addition onto his father’s estate. The bride stayed behind, veiled, keeping her oil lamps ready because she didn't know the exact day or hour the groom's father would give the green light.
* **The Antitype:** This aligns perfectly with John 14:2–3: *"In my Father's house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself..."*

### 3. The Sudden Arrival and the "Catching Up"
When the building was done, the groom would return suddenly—usually at night—accompanied by his groomsmen blowing the shofar (trumpet). He would literally snatch the bride away from her home to take her back to his father's house.
* **The Antitype:** This is the literal ***harpazo*** of 1\text{ Thessalonians }4:16\text{–}17. The Bride is caught up in the air at the sound of the trumpet.

### 4. The Seven Days in the Bridal Chamber
This is where Fruchtenbaum strongly validates your point. Once at the father's house, the bride and groom entered the private wedding chamber for **seven days** to consummate the marriage (the "honeymoon"). While they were hidden away celebrating inside, the wedding guests celebrated outside.
* **The Antitype:** Fruchtenbaum matches these seven days to the **Daniel's 70th Week**—the seven-year Tribulation period on Earth. Using the prophetic "day-for-a-year" principle (Genesis\text{ }29:27), the Bride is safely tucked away in the Father's house in heaven, undergoing the Judgment Seat of Christ (*Bema*) and the Marriage of the Lamb, completely untouched while the eschatological wrath rages on Earth.

### 5. The Marriage Feast
After the seven days, the groom brought his bride out, completely unveiled, for a massive, public celebration with all the guests.
* **The Antitype:** This represents the visible Second Coming, where Christ returns *with* His Bride to establish the Millennial Kingdom, kicking off the literal Marriage Supper of the Lamb on Earth.

## The Exemption from Wrath
Fruchtenbaum heavily emphasizes your second point: **the distinction between the Church and Israel during the Tribulation**. He points out that 1\text{ Thessalonians }5:9 (*"For God hath not appointed us to wrath..."*) is a structural promise. Because the Tribulation is explicitly defined in scripture as the "Time of Jacob’s Trouble" (Jeremiah\text{ }30:7) meant to discipline Israel and judge the Gentile nations, the Bride—having already been cleansed and justified—has no theological purpose or place in that wrath.

While historicists (and Lacunza back in his day) viewed the timeline through a single, continuous sequence, Fruchtenbaum and modern pretribulationists look at the deep-rooted Jewish cultural context to show that the Rapture and the Second Coming must be two distinct events separated by that crucial seven-year block.

Renounce and live, or FAFO about the reality of Hell. It's a simple message and a real simple choice, praise Jesus.

This would lead us to the far more important matter of salvation in Christ Jesus.
The question is: Are we saved by what we know?
In the Greek Bible there are two types of knowing, Ginoskow and oida.
Oida means knowing about something or someone, while Ginoskow means knowing someone personally.
The past form of Ginoskow is used in the following passage:

Mathew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Notice that Jesus knew their works and their profession of faith,
but He did not know them personally.
For this reason I would say that it is not what we know that saves, but who HE knows.
That is the salvation that we should be praying for.

You're saved by the grace of God and for having faith in the Gospel. That's why denial of the Second Coming, which is a key point in all the definitive statements of faith (creeds) is a damnation-tier heresy. For preterism even specifically then you have denial of the infallibility of the scriptures, it calls into questionability about the Session of Christ another key point in the Gospel formula, and then just from there other theological problems naturally arise if aren't held by the preterist cult or sect outright (things like denial of God's omniscience, his omnipotence, etc.) basically cessationism type heresies and errors that are also damnable since they break the first pillar of the faith which is the correct theology and understanding of God (in the Athanasian Creed this is the first part while the second part is the Christology and key Gospel elements.)

I don't even know what a lot of those words mean.
My 93 yo Dad is sick and I only told him is that he needs to know that Jesus is the door.

An individual is saved by grace through faith.

If my faucet is leaking, I might use a wrench to fix it. No one would say that the wrench fixed the faucet. They would say that I fixed the faucet using a wrench.

So it is with God. God saves an individual using faith.

In the Old Testament we see multiple times where God called Israel the vine.

The Jesus came and told his disciples I am the TRUE VINE.. ... that means there can be no other.

He is the Fulfillment and all the charts and splicing and dicing cannot change what Jesus affirmed about Himself.

Yes, and He said that I was a branch of that vine that was spliced in after Israel was broken off. He also said if I can be spliced in then so can Israel be spliced back in.
