A helpful hint for posting separate responses to separate parts/sections of a quoted post.

Have you noticed that - when quoting another post - if you highlight/select a specific part of the quote and press the Enter/Return key - it will neatly separate the quote at that point, replacing the highlighted/selected part? Now, that is a cool feature!

Try it sometime - I think you will find it to be really helpful...

Actually GaryA this is the breakthrough to my negligence in looking up how to be selective in reposting. Ty I can hardly wait to try it (was this directed to me, lol, jk!)

It is considering earlier I tried the highlight excerpt w/reply prompt method, and it didn't work although it had initially worked at the first attempt but subsequentially failed to work trying to respond to the rest of the body of the post in the same entry.

So just to review...
If I highlight an excerpt from the post and put my cursor where I want to separate the highlighted, and hit enter, the highlighted portion will be formatted for me. yes?
