That's ok that we don't believe the same way. It doesn't change the fact that your statements are contradictory.I don't believe in what you want me to believe. I believe the Bible.

That'll be your homework.
No partiality refers to the fact that God does not act in consideration of anything that is true of the individual, but acts sovereignly in all He does.
We are saved by grace through faith. Grace is the exercise of God's power in/on/through an individual.
If I have a leaky faucet, I might use a wrench to fix it. No one would say that the wrench fixed the faucet. They would say I fixed the faucet using a wrench.
In like manner, God saves by grace through faith.
Notice in my example, I am the one fixing by turning the wrench.
Notice also that it is God who exercises the grace and God who wields the faith. Salvation is the result.
It's only problematic for those who wrongly reconcile verses.Again, the problematic/heretical part of tulip is not that God is sovereign or sinners are saved by grace through faith but rather that God only saves some by grace, which means He loves/favors only the elect, which contradicts Scripture teaching that God does NOT show favoritism but loves everyone (Rom. 2:11, 1Tim. 2:3-4).
According to Joel 2:28-29, God would pour out his spirit upon all flesh only in the last days as mentioned in Acts 2:17. Until then, the Spirit rested only upon the priests, kings, and prophets.I already have and learned Rom. 2:11 Rom. 2:11, 1Tim. 2:3-4 (cf. Eph. 6:9, Col. 3:25, 1Pet. 1:17).
If you practice what you assigned, I don't know why you would find anything contradicting this truth.

1 Thes. 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As per the scripture above, man is a tripartite being and needs to be saved in his spirit, soul, and body. How is this accomplished?
No, I said there is not such thing as "death of the spirit", Adam got to live 930 years, he was led by his human spirit for 930 years. Soul is "living being", the status of being alive. Not only human, all animals are called "souls", but only human has "human spirit".You are right when you say that the death of the spirit is disconnection from God. So, since their spirit cannot lead them anymore, who is the alternative? It's the soul.
I have already mentioned that God did give his spirit to three categories of people i.e. kings, priests, and prophets. Besides that, he did give the spirit who would work for his tabernacle or temple. Besides that, the Holy Spirit always spoke to ordinary people through the mouths of those 3 categories of people."Only" is your addition to Joel 2:28-29.
Here are some OT references to the Spirit indwelling/empowering people:
Exo. 31:3- Bezalel
Num. 11:25-27 - Eldad and Medad
Deut. 34:9 - Joshua
Judg. 6:34 - Gideon, 11:29 - Jephthah, 13:25 - Samson
1Sam. 10:10 - Saul, 16:13 - David
Neh. 9:20 - those who exodused
Psa. 51:11 - David
Isa. 63:10 - the Israelites
Ezek. 36:26 - Israel when resettled in Canaan
Dan. 4:8 - Daniel
The Spirit rested on all sorts of OT believers.
You are right in what you are saying, but you are seeing salvation from a different perspective which is also right. But when you know the distinction between the soul and the spirit, you will be more mature. There is a 3 fold salvation but I do not believe as you put it. Our spirits are born of God and are incorruptible and immortal, they do not need saving.
We are saved instantly from the penalty of sin, death. This salvation occurs when we are born from above and made spiritually alive never to die again.
We are progressively saved from the power of sin. This occurs as we are transformed from one degree of glory to the next becoming more Christlike.
We will be saved from the presence of sin when we receive our glorified resurrection bodies.
Okay. So, if the spirit of Adam continued to live then what did God mean when he told Adam, "the day you eat of the forbidden fruit, you shall surely die".No, I said there is not such thing as "death of the spirit", Adam got to live 930 years, he was led by his human spirit for 930 years. Soul is "living being", the status of being alive. Not only human, all animals are called "souls", but only human has "human spirit".
God's day is 1000 years to human, Adam died at age 930, within 1000 years. Another possibility is that the day he ate of it, he'd become mortal, subject to death, as his access to the Tree of Life is revoked.Okay. So, if the spirit of Adam continued to live then what did God mean when he told Adam, "the day you eat of the forbidden fruit, you shall surely die".
You are right in what you are saying, but you are seeing salvation from a different perspective which is also right. But when you know the distinction between the soul and the spirit, you will be more mature.
Your wish is granted. May you have a long break.Oh please. One post and you think you know the degree of my faith? Strewth, give us a break.![]()

Our body of Adamic nature is put to death through water baptism as mentioned in Rom. 6:3-7 Now we are resurrected with a new body giving us a fresh start of walk with God.Our “bodies of death” aren’t going to be saved.
We need to be clear on that.
