Some of the Pros, our great beaches, genuinely good weather, multicultural foods, freedom to be Christian.

Some of the Cons, terrible politicians, very high house prices, poor public transport.

Having spent most of my life here, it's not a bad place to live.

I remember a Baptist missionary from New Zealand who did a great work in Australia. He started a thriving church that was winning thousands to Christ. At one point he decided to make a documentary on the Muslim religion. He interviewed people and one was an emam. The emam and him got in an argument and the Robertson was reported to the government. He was swiftly deported, so brother Robertson went to the Philippines and started churches. They were winning many to Christ there last I heard.
He used to give a periodic report to supporting churches. Now he's a pastor.

I had hoped good churches were being planted in Australia.

Present left-wing government bends over backwards to the Moslems.

I don't see it happening in Texas. They are making some noise, but it's getting a lot of push-back. Any muslim accosting a woman walking down the street without a burkha is liable to have a loud, rude reception... might even develop a case of lead poisoning.

Um I just want to know about the morton bay bugs...
I already know the spiders...they're a con, I don't think you can eat them
Are the bugs tasty? Can they bite you?

Never tried them as they are expensive.
what about aussie prawns...are they expensive?
We used to be able to buy them (frozen) in the shops here, but now the prawns all seem to come from Ecuador, or Vietnam
The Aussie prawns were big and juicy, much fatter than all the others.

Are they better on the barbie or do you cook them another way?

Crocs? Jellyfish? Termites? Dingos?

Oh what about the rabbits and prickly pears and cane toads?

I'm just about to read a book about Lindy Chamberlain. Where you around at the time when baby Azariah went missing? Did you believe Lindy or was everyone like 'she killed her daughter' ?
