Dingoes were imported by Aborigines, apparently. They are wild dogs and not to be messed with. They are not especially big.
Tasmanian Devils. Nasty little beasts a bit smaller than cats.
Wombats. Nature's bulldozers.
Kangaroos. Unique.
Quokkas. Super friendly. About the size of a cat. A tiny bit like a rabbit but happy.
Echidnas. Yes, a bit like a hedgehog but grow a lot bigger.
Koala. Best ambassador Australia has ever had.
I like the cockatoos and galahs.
Cockatoos can talk too, but...I didn't see any in Sydney? Just those 'bin chickens' or are they Ibis?
Bin Chicken is an Ibis. Strangely, they don't get into rubbish bins in Victoria. Sydney must have a better class of rubbish than we do. We get many cockatoos in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. They can be a real pain. We get galahs as well. We often get rosellas and rainbow lorikeets, stunningly beautiful parrots, in the grassy area behind our unit.

Somehow ugg boots have now become very 'cool' once american hollywood people started wearing them...and more expensive.
But anyway...I didn't buy any in Aussie because I have my own nz sheepskin boots at home. sometimes I wear them out but I always wear stockings or leggings or skinny pants inside them. Or those trackies that tuck in.
I don't have any use for my steel toed gardening boots anymore. I garden in crocs.

All through my childhood and teens years I went barefoot everywhere: woods, streams and creeks, gravel roads, country roads, trails, and anywhere else that I need to go. Of course, as an adult, I had to spend my time in places where shoes were required. But, I still like a nice barefoot hike on rocks whenever I get the opportunity.
