"Virgins carrying lamps exist in the story to light the way for the wedding procession"

Evidently, you have failed the 12 step Hebrew betrothal wedding protocol comprehension test. Again.

The wedding FEAST does NOT occur immediately after the harpazo, rather 7 days (7 years) afterwards, when the now fully married Husband and Wife (she was only a betrothed virgin Bride 7 years earlier!) RETURN from the heavenly honeymoon Chuppah (noted below!) for the glorious WEDDING SUPPER on the earth. Attended by many guests, like John the Baptist and Moses and David and those who survived the tribulation judgement as sheep and tribulation saints.

[Rev 19:7 KJV] 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

[Rev 19:9 KJV] 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

These bridesmaids do NOT go to the Fathers house, they are supposed to busy themselves with INFORMING the world and PREPARING the world for the soon RETURN of the Husband and Wife.

In Arnold Fruchtenbaum’s prophetic framework (as detailed in *The Footsteps of the Messiah* and his studies on the Jewish wedding system), Revelation 19:7 is placed **in Heaven, immediately prior to the Second Coming of Christ**.

Fruchtenbaum maintains a strict distinction between the timing and location of the *Marriage* itself versus the *Marriage Supper*:

1. **The Timing of the Marriage (Revelation 19:7–8):**
Fruchtenbaum places the actual marriage ceremony (the *chuppah* in heaven) during the end of the seven-year Tribulation period, after the Rapture and after the Church has undergone the **Bema (Judgment Seat) of Christ**. Because Revelation 19:8 states that the bride is clothed in "fine linen, bright and clean," which represents the "righteous acts of the saints," Fruchtenbaum argues this requires the believers' works to have already been evaluated and rewarded in heaven. Thus, the marriage ceremony takes place in the heavenly realm just before Christ descends.

2. **The Transition to the Second Coming (Revelation 19:11–14):**
Because the bride has now been officially united with the Lamb under the heavenly chuppah, Fruchtenbaum notes that the newly married bride immediately participates in the next chronological step: she accompanies Christ *out* of heaven, riding on white horses, to execute judgment at the Second Advent.

3. **Distinction from the Marriage Supper (Revelation 19:9):**
Fruchtenbaum separates verse 7 (the ceremony/marriage) from verse 9 (the *Marriage Supper*). While the marriage happens **in heaven** right before the return, the Marriage Supper takes place **on earth** afterward, serving as the inaugural celebration banquet of the earthly Millennium (with Old Testament and Tribulation saints participating as invited guests).
If they are "bridesmaids", and not the scriptural "virgins", the oil gamechanger is meaningless, as would be the "left out/ left behind" component.

Also, I have never seem Paul or Jesus touch on this non believer component that Jesus supposedly takes to heaven and into the marriage chamber.
Where is "Friends of the bride", anywhere in the Bible?
10 bridesmaids Jesus picks up with no bride, and takes half of them into the wedding chamber.

Nope.

We see HALF left behind pretrib in Jesus 2 separate analogies.( mat 24 and 25)
Think about it.
The postrib doctrine claims the wicked of mat 24 (one taken and one left behind) are raptured PRETRIB and taken away to some make believe pretrib judgement.

That is horrible dot connecting....horrible.
So why do they cling to such flat out nonsense?
The bible is such an offense to them.

Ask them for a verse pointing to a postrib rapture.
One verse.
"We see HALF left behind pretrib in Jesus 2 separate analogies.( mat 24 and 25)"

Disagree. Matt 25 is definitely post-harpazo, and the virgins are BRIDESMAIDS.
Just as JTB is a "friend of the Bridegroom".

The taken/left phenomenon is properly described here:
[Luk 17:34-37 NKJV]
34 "I tell you, in that night there will be two [men] in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.
35 "Two [women] will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.
36 "Two [men] will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left."

37 And they answered and said to Him, (TAKEN) "Where, Lord?" So He said to them, "Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together."

in Luke 17, the people “taken” are taken in judgment, not raptured to safety.

The decisive clue is the disciples’ question:

“Where, Lord?”

They are asking, “Where are the ones taken?” Jesus answers:

“Wherever the body is, there the eagles [or vultures] will be gathered together.”

That answer points to a place of death and judicial destruction. The Greek word ἀετοί (aetoi) can mean eagles, but carrion birds gathering around a corpse plainly conveys judgment. The “taken” become the objects of destruction; the “left” survive the judgment.

The Noah and Lot context confirms it

Immediately beforehand, Jesus compares His revelation to two historical judgments:

  • In Noah’s day, the wicked were swept away, while Noah remained alive.
  • In Lot’s day, the inhabitants of Sodom were destroyed, while Lot was removed from the danger and survived.

Luke 17:27 says the Flood “destroyed them all.”
Luke 17:29 says the fire and sulfur “destroyed them all.”

Therefore:

  • Taken = removed by judgment.
  • Left = left alive to enter the succeeding kingdom conditions.

This is especially clear when compared with Matthew’s version:

“The flood came and took them all away.”
—Matthew 24:39

Then Jesus immediately says:

“Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one left.”

The grammatical and contextual connection strongly identifies the “taken” person with those whom the Flood took away.

The carcass saying is not describing the Rapture

Christ does not answer:

  • “Where I am,”
  • “to the Father’s house,”
  • “into heaven,” or
  • “to meet the Lord in the air.”

Instead, He answers with an image of corpses and carrion birds. That makes a Rapture interpretation extremely unnatural in Luke 17.

The scene is closer to the end-of-age judgment associated with the Second Coming, when the wicked are removed and the righteous survivors remain to enter the Messianic Kingdom.

In Matthew 13, Jesus explicitly says that angels remove the wicked at the end of the age:

[Matthew 13:41–42 NKJV]
“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire.”

And again:

[Matthew 13:49–50 NKJV]
“So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire.”

That is the strongest biblical parallel to Luke 17’s “one taken and the other left.” At the end of the age:

  • the angels separate and remove the wicked;
  • the righteous survivors remain;
  • the condemned are taken to judgment.

Matthew 13:30 also anticipates this in the wheat-and-tares parable:

“First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Jesus later identifies the reapers as the angels in Matthew 13:39.

So the full chain is:

Matthew 13:39: the reapers are angels.
Matthew 13:41–42: angels gather the lawless for judgment.
Matthew 13:49–50: angels separate the wicked from the righteous.
Luke 17:34–37: those taken are associated with corpses and carrion birds.

That makes the “taken” in Luke 17 far more naturally the condemned taken by angelic agents into judgment, not believers taken in the Rapture.

Nope.
Those tares are burned ,according to Jesus , at the end of the world.
Tares are burned at the GWTJ.
Those "taken" in mat 24 are taken before the flood.

I would not have thought you would also promote a pretrib rapture of the wicked.
1) it says before the flood one will be taken and 1 left behind, and several examples of that are given.
So it is half of some group that is taken and half of that same group is left behind.
it is beyond impossible that half the world is born again
Not plausable or possible.
Then in Luke it says 2 in a bed , one is taken and one is left behind.
So in that scenario, you have a born again, on fire Believer, in bed with a satan worshipper .
Not plausable.

There is no "before the flood" rapture of wicked people.
in fact that Greek word "taken", is "taken to a good place"

Nope.

[Mat 25:8 NKJV] 8 "And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us [some] of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'
" our lamps have gone out"
So that is false that they never had oil.

You are assuming so many things.
Like "bridesmaids" that only a few obscure translations try and transpose that onto the clear, and vivid, actual wording of "VIRGINS"
( "bridesmaids" not being anything but "friends of the bride weirdness") ...totally inapplicable

SO YES once you CHANGE IT TO "bridesmaids" we can proceed with other assumptions like "lamps" translation is some total impossibility.
Then assume the wick is brand new and NEVER HAD OIL?????

What is going on??????

" our lamps have gone out"
So that is false that they never had oil.
No.
The foolish ***bridesmaids*** (please check your Jewish wedding protocol) lamps HAD ZERO OIL.

Of course not. Give your head a shake. Your grasp of this matter is wackadoo.
Matt 25 is POST RAPTURE, on the EARTH, and the 10 virgins are NOT THE BRIDE.

So genuine Christians are only those who never made a mistake? God does not give anyone a second chance?

Genuine Christians are those who satisfy God's requirement for salvation (GRFS),
which is to love Jesus as Messiah and Lord aka having saving faith until death.

Those who die while rejecting GRFS do not get a second chance on Judgment Day.
My Scriptural support is this:

The normative way of stating the kerygma/GRFS in the NT is “Accept Christ Jesus as Lord” (as in Acts 16:31, 2Cor. 4:5 & Col. 2:6) or “Love Jesus as Messiah and Lord” (John 8:42). The main points of Christian orthodoxy implicit in these statements can be explained or elaborated as follows:

1. There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or God (Deut. 6:4, John 3:16, 2Thes. 1:6), who is both able (2Tim. 1:12) and willing (1Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.
2. Human beings are selfish or sinful (Rom. 3:23, 2Tim. 3:2-4, Col. 3:5), miserable (Gal. 5:19-21), and hopeless (Eph. 2:12) or hell-bound at the judgment (Matt. 23:33 & 25:46) when they reject God’s salvation (John 3:18, Rom. 2:5-11).
3. Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28).
4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), which means trying to obey (Phil. 3:12, 1John 1:8) His commandment to love one another (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2).
5. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with those who freely accept Him (Rev. 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven when by means of persevering in learning Truth/God’s Word/sanctification everyone cooperates fully with His will (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4). Such cooperation can be termed “the surrendered life”.
6. This creed summarizes revelation of the NT Gospel/Truth (Matt. 26:13, John 14:6), which fulfilled the OT revelation (Matt. 5:17, John 19:30, Heb. 7:11-10:10) and culminates the search for salvation by souls who know only general revelation (Rom. 1:20, 2:14-16, Matt. 7:12). Seeking begins when souls love truth/repent of false beliefs (2Thes. 2:10&13, Matt. 4:17, 7:7), which is the Way to eternal life God wills, who is the Lord Jesus (Matt. 7:14, John 1:14, 4:24, 14:6). Lacking this love leads to believing lies and debauchery (Matt. 7:6, Rom. 1:18&25-26, 2Thes. 2:11-12).

How does your view differ and what is the Scriptural support for that?

Regarding the rapture, I thought you would be familiar with the only Scripture that mentions it: 1Thes. 4:13-18 and 1Cor. 15:51-52.

There are many MANY more passages that speak to the rapture than just those.
And then there are the sweeping TYPES to be considered. Such as Ruth.

🔹 Removal / Translation Types

Enoch

Taken by God before the Flood; clear picture of removal prior to judgment.

Elijah

Caught up into heaven without death; another strong translation type.

🔹 Absence from Judgment Scene

Daniel

Not present in Daniel 3; absent while the fiery judgment takes place.

🔹 Spared / Marked for Deliverance

Rahab

Identified beforehand and preserved when Jericho falls; distinguished from those under wrath.

🔹 Bride / Union Before Crisis

Asenath

Gentile bride given to Joseph before the famine; union before global distress.

Ruth

Redeemed and brought into covenant blessing prior to kingdom establishment.

Rebekah

Called out and united with Isaac before covenant continuation unfolds.

Zipporah

Joined to Moses before the judgments on Egypt.

Abigail

Aligns with David before he assumes kingship and executes judgment.

🔹 Positioned / Exalted Before Crisis

Joseph

Elevated before the famine; placed above and ahead of the coming crisis.

Esther

Installed as queen prior to the destruction decree; positioned for deliverance.

🔹 Heavenly Call Before Judgment (NT Pattern)

John the Apostle

“Come up here” (Rev 4:1) before the main sequence of judgments; often seen as a type of upward call before wrath unfolds.

🔹 Set Apart Before Redemptive Events

Mary

Chosen vessel prior to the unfolding of redemption; set apart in advance.

🧩 Tight Summary

This refined list highlights four consistent “no-wrath” patterns:

Removed beforehand → Enoch, Elijah
Absent from the scene → Daniel
Marked and spared → Rahab
United to the redeemer before crisis → Asenath, Ruth, Rebekah, Zipporah, Abigail
Positioned in advance → Joseph, Esther
Called upward before judgment → John

If the word is a torch you dip the torch in oil before lighting. So yes, it had oil before it was lit, they didn't bring oil with them so that once the oil was burned up they needed more. If it is a lamp then yes, you light the lamp that has oil in it, but they didn't bring oil to fill the reservoir of oil in the lamp for when they run out. Based on the Greek and the fact that this is a torch lit parade I think understanding the lamps as torches is the more likely option, but either way they were lit with oil in or on them.

Lacking this love leads to believing lies and debauchery (Matt. 7:6, Rom. 1:18&25-26, 2Thes. 2:11-12).

How does your view differ and what is the Scriptural support for that?
My view is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, all of our sins and the only "unforgivable sin" is to reject Jesus Christ as the savior. The foolish virgins did not reject Jesus Christ as the savior.

We have examples of people who were not ready for the attack when it came and so failed. Peter denying the lord 3 times is one example, Mark leaving the ministry is another. In both cases they got a second chance to get saved.

Now I have answered your question, you need to answer mine. Are genuine Christians only those who never made a mistake? Are you claiming God does not give anyone a second chance?

There are many more passages relevant to the Rapture than only 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:51–52. Those are the two passages that most explicitly describe the event, but the doctrine is developed across a much broader group of texts.

The clearest direct passages are:

  • John 14:1–3 — Christ returns to receive believers unto Himself and take them to the place He has prepared in the Father’s house.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:22–23, 35–58 — the resurrection and transformation of believers at Christ’s coming.
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 — the dead in Christ rise, living believers are caught up with them, and all meet the Lord in the air.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:1 — “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and … our gathering together unto him.”
  • Philippians 3:20–21 — Christ comes from heaven and transforms our bodies to be like His glorious body.
  • 1 John 3:2–3 — when Christ appears, believers shall be like Him.
  • Colossians 3:4 — when Christ appears, believers appear with Him in glory.
First Thessalonians repeatedly anticipates this event:

  • 1 Thessalonians 1:9–10 — believers wait for God’s Son from heaven, who delivers us from the coming wrath.
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:19–20 — believers are presented before Christ “at his coming.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 3:13 — the saints are established blameless at Christ’s coming “with all his saints.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 — the actual catching away.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:1–11 — believers are not appointed to wrath but to obtain salvation through Christ.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:23 — the whole person is preserved blameless unto Christ’s coming.
Second Thessalonians also contains important Rapture material:

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:1–2 — Christ’s coming and our gathering together unto Him.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:3–8 — the removal of the restraining influence precedes the revelation of the man of sin.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:13–14 — believers are called to obtain the glory of Christ.
Other resurrection and translation passages include:

  • Romans 8:18–25 — believers await the redemption of the body.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:14–5:5 — resurrection, transformation and the heavenly dwelling.
  • Ephesians 1:13–14; 4:30 — believers are sealed unto the day of redemption.
  • Titus 2:13 — believers look for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of Christ.
  • Hebrews 9:28 — Christ appears a second time unto salvation for those who look for Him.
  • James 5:7–9 — the coming of the Lord draws near.
  • 1 Peter 1:5, 7, 13 — salvation and grace are revealed at the revelation of Christ.
  • Revelation 3:10–11 — Christ promises to keep the faithful from the hour of worldwide testing.
  • Revelation 22:7, 12, 20 — Christ repeatedly declares, “I come quickly.”
Old Testament patterns and prophetic foundations include:

  • Genesis 5:24; Hebrews 11:5 — Enoch is translated without experiencing death.
  • 2 Kings 2:11 — Elijah is taken bodily into heaven.
  • Isaiah 26:19–21 — the dead rise, God’s people enter their chambers, and are hidden while indignation passes.
  • Zephaniah 2:3 — the faithful may be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.
  • Daniel 12:1–3 — resurrection associated with the completion of Israel’s time of trouble.
Second Timothy 2:18 is also relevant to the doctrine of resurrection timing:

“Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.”
Hymenaeus and Philetus were not denying resurrection terminology altogether; they were falsely claiming that the promised resurrection had already occurred. Paul regarded a false teaching about the timing and nature of the resurrection as capable of overthrowing the faith of believers.

Therefore, it is inaccurate to say that only two passages mention the Rapture. First Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15 give the most detailed descriptions, but the event is supported by a broad network of passages concerning Christ’s descent from heaven, the resurrection of dead believers, the transformation of living believers, our gathering unto Christ, bodily redemption, deliverance from coming wrath, and our entrance into the Father’s house.

The "taken" oil was carried in a vessel separate from the torch. When the procession began, the bridesmaids would soak or replenish the torch’s cloth or wick with oil and light it.

The Greek distinguishes between:

  • λαμπάδες (lampades) — the “lamps,” probably outdoor torches, not ordinary enclosed household lamps.
  • ἀγγεῖα (angeia) — separate vessels, containers, jars, or flasks holding the oil.

Thus Matthew 25:4 literally says that the prudent bridesmaids took oil in containers along with their torches. The oil supply was therefore separate from the torch itself.

The astute will notice that you did not provide one Scripture indicating that the foolish virgins were Christians
who made it into heaven through the back door.
The foolish bridesmaids were not metally unfit becasuse they were stupid.
They were sporitually unfit because the willfully refused to take the oil that the KNEW was available.

I mean if you see 5 virgins slumbering beside you WITH FLASKS whereas you do not have a flask, are you able to recognize that you are missing something very important?

Do the foolish virgins know that their torches are bound to fail?
Do the foolish virgins make this same mistake cited here:

[Luk 12:35, 40 KJV]
35 Let your loins be girded about, and [your] lights burning; ...
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

[Mat 24:42, 44 KJV]
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. ...
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

2Pe 3:4
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

Yes, and so the torch was lit, it subsequently went out and they had not brought oil with them in a container and so tried to borrow oil from the others. Hence their torch was lit and they did have oil.

Good grief man, the foolish virgins had dry torches. The wick material shouldered a bit, and promptly went out.
