There's a rope around the snakes throat. They're fighting for their life. That's why they're fighting the men so hard.
Poor thing.

If they bear down too hard,they can break the bones in the snakes jaw or neck. It will take a very long time to starve to death. Unless a predator kills it first.

That's a very good point.
They could have handled it safer for the snake and them with the right equipment and enough men skilled at working with big snakes.

Please forgive me for reminiscing about the old reruns I remembered as a little boy.
That was the most exciting thing on TV or movies. When I grew up, I raised Yellow Anacondas, big Burmese and Reticulated pythons for the ministry and Animal Adventures.
The next natural question is.......?
The answer is.......
No, I didn't belong to any Pentecostal Snake Handling churches. Lol
They were professional Educational Programs that were a lot of fun with audience participation.

In highschool a neighbor broke in and stole everything. Mom took me to friends whose Blue Healer had pups from a Belgium Malinois. I named him Slasher, Conans only dog in the original series by Robert E. Howard. I wanted a unique scary name as warning to the evil predators who lived in our neighborhood.

He looked like a short haired Malinois with perfect markings and expressive brown eyebrows. His ears were half perky but floppy half way. When he got alert to listen, he would make his ears stand up. At ease the top half would drop back down. He was so funny to watch. He was so smart, it was uncanny. I could teach him anything. His energy was off the chart and he lived playing with other dogs. Quite the athlete, he had more muscle bulk and definition than any dog I have seen. Wish I had pictures.
This video shows the smaller blue healer herding dog with Malinois.

I'm surprised this rare tree kangaroo was unreported all those decades until recently.
There are tree opossums, but no big roos. However, I wonder if this latest picture isn't AI produced. I will check into that.
What do you all think?

I think you are right, but after spending lunchtime searching I finally found a very good video with actual footage and capture of a mother with Joey and more!

I praise the Lord for this animal species.
It demonstrates the incredible genetic diversity of marsupials. My own hypothesis is that they may have had common ancestry on the Ark. This is not (macro-evilutionism), but micro-genetic diversity. God created everything with the ability to have genetic variations within a certain boundary. Birds don't come from fish or reptiles, but there are all kinds of birds and fish that may be a little different from the great grand parents.

2 of each kind of unclean and 7 of the clean animals. When you see this it has traits of opossums and the terrestrial kangeroos. There are a surprising number of different marsupials.
They are all unique in their own special way and look like plush toys.
Thank God for Tree Kangeroos.

I guess I notice things like that because all through my childhood and teen years I went everywhere barefoot: woods, trails, streams, rocks, etc. Shoes felt restrictive. I wanted to feel the Earth beneath my feet.

It's definitely a beautiful forest. I can see you having a smashing zoo/marsupial section!

I used to step on bees once in a while. Even more than that, was sticker bushes and thorns. I'd always carry a pocket knife with me to cut out the stingers, stickers, and thorns. It's a wonder that I didn't step on something worse. Well, actually, I did. Brahma bull droppings lol. I regret none of it though!

I might be getting different species mixed up.
The first short video I posted doesn't have the highest credibility, but was backed by some other articles and vids.
One said they were rediscovered in 2028. .
Then I found the last video that seemed to show an easy to capture number that were not rare or elusive in the location of that tribe.
The WWF reports that the Golden Tree Roo was known about in 1990. .
That makes me wonder, but regardless, they are nearly as cute as the giraffes you posted.
I'm probably going to have good dreams tonight after all of those.

Good thinking to have a pocket knife for stickers and splinters.


When I used one of these and it got rid of nearly all of the sting.
It's a vacuum syringe. Instead of a needle, it has different cups to suck out the poison. Fortunately I was never bitten by venomous snakes, but there's plenty of times it worked on bee stings.
