The former covenant that YHWH had with Israel has been terminated.

Hebrews 8:8-9
Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house
of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land
of Egypt, because they did not abide by My Covenant, and I disregarded them.

Luke 13:25
Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say,
‘BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!’

Hence, all promises pertaining to the Exodus covenant between YHWH and Israel are null and void.

Starts with protection.

As you see protection is assured today by the USA. A total change is coming most likely because rapture. This leader from another country will give them peace from events going on in the tribulaton and at some point allow the jews to build the temple. Just a starting point.

Lord wont let it go more than 7 years or there would be no one left

No, just because many may not abide to the covenant does not mean the Lord is done with Israel or broken his covenant

I believe God refers to the Destruction of Jerusalem like He does with the Days of Noah, Lot, and Elijah as a comparison to events happening leading up to destruction. But the Temple had to be destroyed for the Gospel and get people away from thinking God is in buildings.

If you notice, the Bible never mentions anything about the Destruction of Jerusalem in Revelation because it's about the future.
 
Israel has done in the past 75+ years what no other Nation has ever done considering Its size and population. From the immediate Middle East Wars to the 7 Day War and the current Wars. One Win after another. That could only happen if God is helping. And by all observations God is indeed helping Modern Day Israel more than any other Nation on Planet Earth.

I disagree. I believe the majority of the book of Revelation deals with the destruction of Jerusalem and the ending of the old covenant.

Have you ever looked closely at the structure of the covenant in Deuteronomy and compared this with the undoing of that covenant in Revelation? The outlines of both books are identical.

Jesus was reading from the scroll of Isaiah ( our number 61 )

and yet left off this future scripture

It is not the covenant that lasts for one week - it is the confirmation of the covenant that lasts for one week.

Daniel 9:

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

BIG HUGE difference.

This verse IS NOT talking about the creation of any 7-year "treaty" - it is talking the confirmation of the [already-existing] covenant.

The Lord is a good Book keeper

The Temple being built in the Tribulation was not approved by God, but at the direction of the antichrist for himself

Are you proposing that "the law" was not fulfilled by Jesus?

If Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law to the letter then all has been accomplished.

According to Christian theology, Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law by living a morally perfect life without sin,
obeying all of God's commands, and offering Himself as the ultimate, final sacrifice on the cross. In Matthew 5:17, Jesus
stated that He came not to abolish the law and the prophets, but to fulfill them. [1, 2, 3, 4]

How Jesus Fulfilled the Law

Perfect Obedience: As a human, Jesus kept the moral and ethical demands of the law completely, acting as the only

The Law itself which includes the ten commandments has now become obsolete.

Christians are now under a new covenant with Jesus and the new covenant is a spiritual covenant.

gives life.

Read the verse carefully; "not of the letter but of the Spirit"

What temple?

Israel is a democratic secular nation.
 
I have a King James Bible. I don't see the word descendants in it. I see the word "seed" over 300 times. The promises were made to Abraham his seed (Jesus) and will be fulled when the Lord returns. Abraham saw His day and was glad, Jesus said so.

Galatians 3​

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
