How do we testify to this word of the Lord?

Wonderful words! We might otherwise thing that the first disciples were better off than us, because they had physically seen Jesus. But so had the unbelieving Pharisees and Judas Iscariot. We cannot (yet) see Jesus with our physical eyes, but His words to Thomas show us that being blessed does not depend upon seeing Him physically.

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Blessed is the person that has not seen Jesus yet still believes because our salvation is built on faith.

Some people say I have seen Jesus but yea you have not.

That would violate faith.

On earth before the second coming you will not see Jesus.

But if you die in the Lord before the second coming to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

But some people will say what about the disciples for they seen the risen Christ.

Those that seen did not need faith which the disciples and Paul did not need faith for they have seen.

But when Jesus appeared for 40 days and was caught up the people after that would need faith.

But that is what it means when Jesus said blessed is the person that has not seen Him but still believes because our salvation is based on faith.

That is why they could have greater revelations like Paul and John because they did not need faith.

i testify that Christians can be doubtful their whole life long. the idea of doubting may never vanish but you try your best.

John 20:29. With exact Greek definitions .

Jesus said to them, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have personally surrendered your life to me and live a life inspired by such surrender: fortunate and well off are they who have not seen me, and still personally surrendered their lives to me and live a life inspired by such surrender.

Doesn't have anything to do with doubting, but courage.

Who is being referred to as “the Lord” here?
1. The one who saw and believed.
2. The one who did not see but believed.
 
We testify to it by knowing that we today are among those blessed ones who have not seen with our physical eyes and yet believe the plain truth stated in Scripture.

What people clearly understand from the Word of God is its literal meaning.
Therefore, it is clear that the person being referred to as having believed because he saw was Thomas.
And those who are more blessed because they believed without seeing are the people today who believe and read the Holy Scriptures. They claim to believe in the Lord Jesus even though they have never seen Him, unlike Thomas, who actually saw Him.


However, no matter how much I think about it, I still struggle with this question:
How can people today who claim to believe in the Lord Jesus without seeing Him be more blessed than Thomas, when Thomas was one of the twelve apostles personally chosen by the Lord?
How can those who believe without seeing be considered more blessed than Thomas?

I’m not quite convinced that the people today who claim to believe in the Lord Jesus even though they have never seen Him are more blessed than Thomas.
How can it be proven that those who claim to be more blessed than Thomas were truly chosen by the Lord Jesus?
After all, there is no doubt that Thomas was one of those personally chosen by the Lord to be among the twelve apostles.
In other words, among all those whom the Lord Jesus chose, Thomas was part of the “Top 12.”


So, what would be the testimony or evidence of those people who claim to be more blessed than Thomas?

But I don't think I said that Christians today who have not seen Jesus Christ with their physical eyes are more blessed than Thomas, just that being blessed does not depend upon seeing Him physically.

Jesus said it, therefore it is true. Perhaps we are considered more blessed because God considers our faith of greater worth because we believe without having seen.

blessed are they that haven't seen but believe! if you have to see something every time you are encountered with someone or something, what little faith you have, never grows.

There is no doubt that the Lord Jesus is speaking the truth according to John 14:6.
However, what is questionable is the way people understand the Word of God.
This is because people can only understand the Word of God in its literal sense.

Therefore, what people understand is that there are those who literally saw and did not believe, referring to Thomas, and those who literally did not see yet believed, referring to people today who read and believe in the Holy Scriptures even though they have not literally seen the Lord.

And concerning this, here is what the Lord God says.
ISAIAH 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

When Jesus says they are "blessed," he means they are "fortunate," but Jesus doesn't believe in Luck. He knows that due to the testimony of the Twelve and their New Testament writings, many will come to believe in Jesus. Jesus is putting his faith, his trust in the Father and the Holy Spirit.
