The key is not so much to get "closer" to God. The key is to realize we need him desperately or we will die (eternally). Once that is known, then we will hang on to Jesus for dear life!

What more is keeping the evil secure besides something useless?
When heaven is the final destination, there's no need to not make up.

Since I am the beginner of Christianity. The path is still uncertain .After the faith grows stronger .Then I will become a true Christian. Neither Lukewarm nor an atheist.

God makes a wonderful promise (2 Peter 3:9) to those of us who will become His sons and daughters by adoption, that He will wait patiently for us to come to saving faith in His Son, so that none of us will ever be lost :)

2 Peter 3​
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ​

So, the most important thing to make sure of is that you have, indeed, been born again/come to true, saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (which includes having a living, growing and personal relationship with Him, and He with you, of course .. e.g. John 17:3; 2 Corinthians 13:5).This is something that many of us here would be happy to talk with you about if you have any thoughts that you'd like to share or questions that you'd like to ask (on topics like regeneration, redemption, reconciliation, forgiveness, salvation, eternal life and more :)).

Hi pasta glad you are joining us, welcome to the CC fellowship! There's a lot of good convos going on, so have fun browsing the Forums and jump in when ready. I recently quit resenting my brother for an inheritance issue after 18 yrs. I came to the stark realization that if I don't forgive him, God doesn't have to forgive me of my faults. I sure don't want my brother to be the reason I get in trouble with the Lord😊 I actually feel so liberated now and at peace. God bless you and your endeavors!🙏🙌

There are a lot of people who love you. Many are here on this site.
Please be a peace with those who Love Jesus Christ.
And you may see some debates about various doctrinal items, but we all agree on one thing. That Jesus loves us and we love one another.

My question would be, how old are you and in what area of the world do you live?

Oh, I just seen that you live in Hong Kong.

You have to let go of hate, hate is not from God. Forgiveness is important. We must forgive those who hurt us. God loves us, continue to seek Him. Do you have a physical kjv bible? If you draw closer to Jesus he will draw closer to you.
 
I recommend getting a physical bible.now while you still can, apparently they are destroying books and the bible they will come for. 🙏 Because they will change the Word of God Ai will...

Yes. They are. Im truly concerned that the covid "vaccine" that it truly was the mark of the beast as well. I wish I never took it and I believe now it is too late for me to be saved but I have been warning people about what I know and what is coming

Here's are two good ones to bookmark and put at the top of your list. Start with the Gospel of John right after the previous post video I shared with you.
I would do it right now because it's easy to forget. Then you can buy a paper one as someone else suggested. Try to find one with large enough print to easily read. No study Bible or Bible with commentary. Just plain large print is best.
