No why cant you see? Is heaven seperate from God? I suppose that would help anyway.if its not found by you it not true i can accept that just admit to it then and clarify you can't see
btw there is much more in Hebrew to help see there more info put it all together i know you see it or do i have to get then to you that cheating or just ask in the holy ghost He speaks All Truth. Any a wise man would took Peter words in acts and went to where he knew to say this and its prob not exactly as david wrote psalms 110:1 .why is that?
Yes, of course heaven is separate from God. Just as a king is not a throne, so God is not heaven. Heaven is described in the Bible as His throne, His dwelling-place. I agree that all God says is truth.
As for your question about why Peter's quote of Psalm 110 is slightly different from what we read in the Old Testament, as I understand it, the Jews in New Testament times used a Greek translation of the Old Testament known as the Septuagint (because there were 70 translators).
Actually, Peter says:
NKJV Act 2:34 "For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,
Act 2:35 TILL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES YOUR FOOTSTOOL." '
Psalm 110:1 says:
NKJV Psa 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
Seems the same to me. However, I think it depends which English translation you are using. In the KJV, there are very slight differences:
Act 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou
on my right hand,
Act 2:35 Until I make thy
foes thy footstool.
Psa 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou
at my right hand, until I make thine
enemies thy footstool.
So, "at" instead of "on", and "enemies" instead of "foes." Does that
really affect the meaning?
