Proselytizing doesn't work if it's a watered down gospel that is being preached.
I don't believe you are able to judge the Gospel preached to those in Dearborn if you weren't there.
It doesn't matter how many are on board for Allah. God can work with a few and it starts with prayer and being dedicated and focused on God and what He wants.
Clearly, God didn't want to prevail in Dearborn as yet.
Maybe it is so those who support Islam can later witness what a mistake it is.
I really believe God removed the hedge of protection to that area because people aren't living right for God as He wants. You can see in the Bible that God does that to an area.

Isaiah 5:5 Now I will tell you what I am going to do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it will be destroyed; I will break down its wall, and it will be trampled.

I don't have to live in Dearborn to see what's going on, just be in touch with God.

So what has changed since then? Why was it only when the jews returned to the land that enmity began?

If Jews survive long enough to enter the Millennium?
Then Satan's plan to prove Jesus a liar will fall apart.

If Satan can prove Jesus to be a liar?
Then the Lord's ability for judgment would be proven to not be always correct.

If that can be accomplished?
In effect?
It would be nullifying the Lord's judgment to the Lake of Fire for Satan!

That is why we see at different times in history the mad desire to wipe the Jews from the face of the earth.

For Jesus promised that He will return and will set up His earthly throne in Jerusalem to regather
Jews who are now scattered over the face of the earth, to reign over as their King.

Wipe out the Jews?
Satan goes free.

I believe the U.S. support for Israel has blessed us up into this point but has been compromised by the statement made by Mr.Trump
When he said...quote.... Israel would not have survived if it weren't for the U.S.

So God continued to grant blessings even through blatantly anti-Israel past administrations but will suddenly remove those blessings based on a statement from the current President? No, I don't think so. Making a statement does not equal not supporting Israel. The U.S. is, in fact, still supporting them.

If God is done with the U.S. [or any nation], I would point to rampant lawlessness, disobedience, unrepentance, and overwhelming rejection of God by the people of said nation.

It signals Jesus return.

Jesus will not return until Jews are back in the land.
From, which he will regather all the Jews scattered all around the earth after the Jewish nation is re-established.

It comes from Satan. He hates anything God loves including Israel and His own Christian believers.

Concerning Israel:

Deuteronomy 7:6 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. 10 But

those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction;
he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.

Israel is hated because Satan hates God. Satan is whipping up people to hate who God loves.

Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

This includes those in Israel that will eventually realize Lord Jesus is the Messiah.

I personally don't want to hate Israel since God still loves her. I am very much on God's side on that.

Psalm 83:1O God, do not remain silent;
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.

2 See how your enemies growl,
how your foes rear their heads.

3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.

4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation,
so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”

I'm not worried though. God will protect Israel whether or not people will acknowledge or believe that.

It helps to know what you're talking about before you accuse Christians prosletyzing in Dearborn of bringing a watered down Gospel into Dearborn.

*Shrug* Okay. Some things are not worth arguing.

Exactly what I believe

Right? It's in the Bible. Hard not to see it. And yet Jew haters manage to. I don't how they are going to explain themselves to God when the time comes because God will show them every verse in the Bible where He said so.

Many have made it a point to discuss this modern ISRAEL fake Israel thing but the truth of the matter is for the end time to happen there needs to be a Israel. Plain and simple.
These 'current events' appear to have a direct integration with scripture. I think we are past so called current events on this one.
People have been claiming that for decades. I have yet to see a clear connection between a passage of Scripture and any event in the last hundred years.
People may also understand things diffeent then you do.
Hey Dino,
I don't completely agree here, but you raise a really great point, and some really important issues.

People message me almost daily, telling me "some guy" on the internet said a thing, and the latest news story on CNN MUST BE the fulfillment of some prophecy. I listen quietly, and then say, "Really? Are you certain? Which prophecy? Can we read it?"
: )
I think today's hate screeds are from those programmed to oppose Zionism. Which I believe is ever more tragic because such persons don't know what Zionism is.
Zion is in the Old Testament. And New.
Which is why I do not believe any Christian can be antisemitic or condemn Zion.
It signals Jesus return.

Jesus will not return until Jews are back in the land.
From, which he will regather all the Jews scattered all around the earth after the Jewish nation is re-established.
All of these comments/remarks - taken together - make for some really good questions...

What I would really like to see in this thread (and, I believe is at least partially what the OP has in mind) is a discussion of the events in history - one at a time - going backwards in time (most recent first) - that anyone believes is an actual fulfillment of Bible prophecy or that they believe has a clear connection to a [specific] passage of scripture - including, of course, any-and-all passages of scripture associated with such events.

And, the first question would be - what is the last/latest event to be discussed? And, what scripture passage(s) are associated/connected to it?

I think the Bible tells us not to set dates when looking to prophetic events coming to pass but,to always be ready.

That being said, today's Iran is the land of Persia in Scripture.
Isaiah 45 has its King Cyrus known as God's anointed.

Which seems odd today being Iran is committed to wiping God's land of Israel off the face of the Earth.

The Bible says Israel would be scattered and regathered.

That prophecy was fulfilled on May 14, 1948.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 foretells a great coalition from the north, which would have to include Persia-Iran, will gather against Israel.

I got these nation names from AI, because "ancient geographic names do not have official modern political equivalents, biblical scholars and prophecy teachers commonly map them to the following modern-day countries and regions:

The Core Coalition Nations

  • Rosh: Modern-day Russia(derived from the linguistic root and the geographic descriptor "the remote parts of the north")
    .
  • Magog: Central Asian nations, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and sometimes Afghanistan (the historic land of the ancient Scythians).
  • Persia: Modern-day Iran (which officially used the name Persia until 1935).
  • Meshech and Tubal: Regions within modern-day Turkey (and parts of the Caucasus).
  • Cush: Modern-day Sudan (and parts of South Sudan; historically distinct from modern Ethiopia).
  • Put: Modern-day Libya (extending across parts of North Africa).
  • Gomer and Beth-Togarmah: Modern-day Turkey and portions of Eastern Europe or the South Caucasus. "
  • (End AI paste)

I think the news today is at least a reflection of Ezekiel 38 & 39.

Im glad you looked over the posting here and posted it in such a way.
I agree and believe I stated that I'm looking for those people in the know who has shown there scripture knowledge for my benefit as well in sharing what the Lord has shown them. Perhaps you would like to share your biblical views on current events.
This is not a right or wrong thread and I really don't encourage debating one another.
Trying to keep a biblical perspective here and glean from others on there understanding.

I think the Bible tells us not to set dates when looking to prophetic events coming to pass but,to always be ready.
I am not suggesting that anyone "set dates" (declaring future target dates for scripture fulfillment) - I am referring to [specific] things that have already come to pass and the scripture passage(s) that folks believe are-or-can-be connected to those events.

The Bible says Israel would be scattered and regathered.

That prophecy was fulfilled on May 14, 1948.
This is-or-would-be for a later discussion. (because it is earlier in time)

Can you be more specific? What actual verses do you believe are associated with the modern-day events you are referring to? Because, I see a lot of verses in those two chapters that I am pretty sure have not actually come to pass yet.

In other words, based on the 'detail' of what is described in a verse or verses - what [specific] verses have already actually been fulfilled in some 'event' that has already occurred in the modern day? That would indicate or illustrate the 'connection' between the 'event' and the verse(s).

I am looking to "connect" known verses with known events that have already occurred.

For now, I believe it better to let some other members suggest scripture fulfillment in current events. Anything I might have to say would involve a larger scope with regard to time span - would rather let folks talk about any possible more-specific-time-frame events before moving backwards in time and/or to more "broad" time-frame prophecy. (for example - see post #71 - which would be "way later" in the sequence)

It seems strange to me that there are no threads about what is happening in the world today.
Especially with the U.S. and Iran war, Europe's invasion of Islam, the U.S states being slowly taken over by Muslim population.
Do you find it hard to not be political with these events and rather then to be silent?
I believe the church must have a loud voice in these matters for we were all born for such a time as this.
I believe we are in the last days and the soon return of our great king and savior JESUS CHRIST.
I've seen alot of post with some knowledgeable saints here knowing history and scripture, so let us come together and learn from one another.
Let me begin the conversation with possibly a not so well known fact.

During ww2 many Muslims put there lives in danger and almost certain death aiding the jews to escape the terror of Hitlers nightmare.
Hiding them and even providing transportation to other countries including the middle east.
So what has changed since then? Why was it only when the jews returned to the land that enmity began?
I think you very much right. But the church in America is carnal. Many will not stand up to sin of the current culture because it is unpopular to do so. If the church can't stand up to sin because it is unpopular they will not do so when they make it illegal to do so.

'Having a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. " Lukewarm, comprise the word of God. Impressing socialism and communism and many are Jews who do so. That is demonic.

The origins of modern antisemitic trends in the Islamic World can be traced back to the ideas of the Syrian-Egyptian Salafist theologian Muhammad Rashid Rida (1865–1935 CE).

He turned highly antisemitic after the British imperial designs on the Arab World after World War 1 and their co-operation with Zionists to further British objectives. The 1988 Hamas Charter, and particularly its Articles 7 and 22, represented a condensed version of the pan-Islamist anti-Jewish ideas cultivated by Rashid Rida. Rida believed that the international Jewry contributed to Germany's defeat in the First World War; in exchange for Britain's promise to grant them Palestine.

Furthermore; he asserted that they controlled Western Banking System and Capitalist system, created Communism in Eastern Europe and led Freemasonry to plot against World Nations. He also drew from Islamic traditions that displayed hostility to Jews and popularised them; rendering the conflict with the Zionists an apocalyptic religious dimension. (Wikipedia)

What you called an event happening at an earlier time, the regathering of Israel in 1948 ,as you asked, "... a discussion of the events in history - one at a time - going backwards in time (most recent first)", is what I think allows the recent events in the Middle East to occur today.

The gathering of a coalition of the north,is the most recent event timeline rise. Starting with the October 2023 rocket assault by Hamas upon Israel.

Now,we have tensions firing up with Iran, formerly Persia,a terrorist state, and of course Iraq.
We have Russia(Rosh), is shipping explosives to Iran. Then there's Magog/China.

But I see you don't understand,so I'll leave it there.

I understand this - if you cannot or will not associate certain particular verses in scripture with certain particular events in history - you are missing the point as to the intention for the discussion entirely.
