It seems strange to me that there are no threads about what is happening in the world today.
Especially with the U.S. and Iran war, Europe's invasion of Islam, the U.S states being slowly taken over by Muslim population.
Do you find it hard to not be political with these events and rather then to be silent?
I believe the church must have a loud voice in these matters for we were all born for such a time as this.
I believe we are in the last days and the soon return of our great king and savior JESUS CHRIST.
I've seen alot of post with some knowledgeable saints here knowing history and scripture, so let us come together and learn from one another.
Let me begin the conversation with possibly a not so well known fact.

During ww2 many Muslims put there lives in danger and almost certain death aiding the jews to escape the terror of Hitlers nightmare.
Hiding them and even providing transportation to other countries including the middle east.
So what has changed since then? Why was it only when the jews returned to the land that enmity began?

Eph 2:2 wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience;

It should not be surprising that Satan would collectivize the world and develop the technical tools he would need to try to control it. The Ezekiel 38-39 war has not happened yet, but may be the means that Satan will use to have the anti-christ seen as Messiah in Israel.

I don't think that it is for the church to have a loud voice about things like Iran and Ukraine. Where do we read in the Bible of Jesus, or later the apostles, preaching or teaching about the political situations of the world in which they lived? Because of the Pax Romana, there were no full-scale wars going on, but there were plenty of rebellions against Roman rule. There are Christians and churches in most countries in the word, including Israel and predominantly Muslim countries like Iran.

I get it i surely do, why should those in the know share about the signs of the times that Jesus told us to watch for.
The closer we get to Jesus return the more prophecy is fulfilled, which gives more proof to God's word.
We may not be of this world but we are placed in it for a reason and for such a time as this.
Are we not to share that which the prophets have spoken? Are we not to tell the truth of what's really happening?
Or do we keep it to ourselves and let the world explain what is happening and why.
One thing about the gospel that you said jesus never did is speak the truth to who ever would listen. Not only the jews or believers
But also I'm sure the Roman guards, the Muslim, anyone that was in ear shot of his message and teachings.
He did not candy coat anything. Those that have a ear listen to what the Spirit has to say.
How many soilders and temple guards came to arrest one man..one man..... shows you the the evidence of his preaching.
Not to mention the Roman guard that said surely this is the son of God.
Prophecy is a part of faith of things not yet seen ...... that are now seen. What more proof does one need?

Those topics are discussed in-depth in the Christian News Forum.

And I ask why? Why not here? Don't you think this has to do with end times prophecy.? Or is it just a political objective.
Everyone seems to have their opinion on Israel and there's been several threads about such.
But none about current affairs as the world is being reshaped and conditioned just as the Bible says.

Uh

These are wars. Wars. And rumors of wars. Pax Romana? Have you read or studied what happened to thousands of Roman soldiers in Europe (Germany in particular) when they decided they would just go ahead and conquer the entire globe as they knew it?

You don't see what is going on with Russia, China and a few other countries forming an alliance with Iran?

And how about those Christians in Muslim countries? How are they doing?

I just honestly do not understand anyone (let alone believers who should understand what scripture states about these things) looking the other way and calling everything politics. Well, as you say, YOU think Christains should just wait for the end rather than pray
as we are told to do. smh

Sorry, where did I say that Jesus didn't speak to non Jews? He spoke to a Roman centurion, and other Gentiles. He couldn't have spoken to Muslims, as Islam didn't begin until the 7th century AD.

As far as I am aware, He spoke to Judas, but we are not told in the Bible that He preached to the soldiers. But even if He did, that is not an argument in favour of churches today speaking with a loud voice about political matters.
Not to mention the Roman guard that said surely this is the son of God.

Again, nothing to do with 21st century churches speaking with loud voices about Iran, Ukraine, etc.

I see what you mean. Please go ahead and start talking about the current events that are falling in place for the end time prophecies.

I see the whole world officially turning against Israel. That was the result of the October 7 war. It resulted in the demand for a 2-state solution and could well be the agreement confirmed with the antichrist "with many".

The drying up of the river Euphrates. Estimates say that it could dry up by 2040 but the Bible says it will supernaturally be dried up even before it naturally dries up.

We also have to look at the EU elections of 2029. The antichrist might come from that.

Technology has advanced enough that the mark of the beast can be a reality.

I personally think I lot of people don't want to even think about current events falling into place for the end time prophecies because that means WE will live through them. The Bible said that the generation that sees these things WILL see the end times.

Matthew 24:34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Mark 13:30 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Luke 21:32 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Luk 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead.

And who was he speaking to. Tell me outside of the jews and Muslim who has heard moses or the prophets?

We are sent into this world like it or not to be salt and light. Some are unaware of what's coming, some are waiting for confirmation on what they sense or heard.
And some are lost and need redirection.

Im not talking about a political agenda I'm talking about a biblical perspective.

There's a lot of current events we can link to the setting up of end time events. What current event do you want to talk about in light of what the Bible is predicting?

That's because this is the Bible Discussion forum, not the Current Events Discussion forum. ;)
I agree, but many times it is hard to draw clear lines between topics, especially when current politics is referenced. Some people are so sensitive that any hint of threatening their current political view is deemed a personal threat and must be dealt with. And given today's political landscape, that gets difficult. Ukraine and Iran are connected, Russia is involved in both, and China and North Korea are involved with Russia, so that drags in South Korea, Tiawan, Japan and many other countries, and how the USA deals with them, etc., etc. And of course, how we understand scripture influences how we perceive current politics. All in all, a huge mess.

This article may give insight as to why Jewish and Muslim relations changed after WW2.

Well let's start with faith....our faith....now you may be wondering what does that have to do with it. Well we know faith starts with believing in Jesus but it doesn't end there. Its also believing in what he says about end times and to go further what God has revealed through the books of the apostles and paul.

Here's the question.
Seeing these events unfold rather suddenly has it change your mind on things you once thought to be true.
Example
Some believe in the rapture...some dont. Some believe the reign of Christ is thousand yrs ....some dont.
Some believe many prophecies are of the past.....some say future.
Some say false Israel....some not.
So as the events unfold has anyone been on the fence sorta speaking seeing what taking place .
Are they dogmatic on there beliefs or has there been a change in their view.?
You expressed your personal opinion where I said you need to own it.
What have the scriptures and teachings you've heard and read shown you...us?

1. Jesus' Instructions to Us

First and foremost, Jesus instructs us to endure. That's is really the most important thing for us to do. He may have individual instructions for each of us, but to endure is to everyone who belongs to Him.

Matthew 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

Mark 13:13 "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

Matthew 10:22 "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

And He says this because our faith will be tested. Will we belief God when He says He will provide for us when the mark of the beast is imposed and we are no longer able to buy and sell when we say no to that mark? Will we still say no when threatened with execution by beheading? Do we believe God when He says He will resurrect us and clothe us with immortality?

That is the kind of faith we need to build up in Christ - to be able to say no to the antichrist and the beast system. We must have strong faith in Christ just like my signature says "so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." (Ephesian 6:13b)

With that said, we are going to go through the great tribulation. Jesus said Himself that He's going to collect us on the last day. He said, (John 6:39) "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day." I belong to God and I believe Him regardless of what anyone else says.

2. Two Wars That Seem to Head Towards Fulfillment

As I have mentioned before, the October 7 war resulted in the whole world officially turning on Israel and demanding a two-state solution. The two-state solution could very well be the agreement that the antichrist confirms with many. We'll see.

Daniel 9:27 "He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

Also Russia has allied with many Muslim countries. And that really hasn't happened before. That whole scenario seems to set up for the Ezekiel 38 war which hasn't happened come to pass yet. It will show how God will deliver the nation from that enemy in front of everyone.

Ezekiel 38:16 "You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes."

3. River Euphrates Estimated to Dry up by 2040, but Predicted to Dry Up Supernaturally Sooner.

Revelation 16:12 "The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East."

The Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources warns that the river could be dry by 2040. So given that if left to itself that it will dry up by 2040, and the Bible says the sixth angel will pour out his bowl on the river, then the angel could very well be pouring that bowl on the river well before 2040.

4. The Technology for the Mark of the Beast is a Reality.

Some people in Europe are already using this technology - this is currently NOT the mark of the beast because it isn't tied to worship of any one world leader. But it is to show that the technology is already here. The mark of the forehead or hand, I believe, isn't an embedded chip, but a tattoo - maybe of a QR code or something.

Revelation 13:16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads....

The Greek word used in Revelation 13:16 for "mark" is charagma, which literally means an etching, engraving, stamp, or scratch.

I would go with a tattoo over a chip because then updating the software, if needed, is easy.

5. The Third Jewish Temple Will Be Built

Revelation 11:1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

I think the two-state solution will allow the third Jewish temple to be built to the north of the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa mosque. We have to keep in mind that the antichrist wants the third Jewish temple built just as much or even more than the Jews do.

How about you? What do you think? How does the current events mesh with the end time prophecies to you?

Technically speaking, if the [central/main] intent of a thread is to be [at its core] a Bible-based discussion (study of what scripture says about the topic) - it is valid to be in the Bible Discussion Forum. If this is not true, then it should go elsewhere in a more appropriate forum.

Since the OP has stated that he is interested in a biblical perspective...
