I'm hearing replacement theology being used to justify anti Semitic slander. I'm hearing that Jews are no longer safe in many western countries, while Muslims can say and do as they please with little consequence. I'm hearing blatant lies on this forum about a nation that has had to fight for it's existence for 78 years.

Individually, no one is saved apart from faith in Christ. However, God chose to work through one nation to bring salvation to the world. God sent that nation into exile according to the covenant that He made with them at Mt Sinai.

God's plan and purpose cannot be thwarted. The nation of Israel was restored in 1948. It survives in spite of 400 million haters that surround them. God promised that He would ensure that his covenant would endure. It's God's word. You don't have to like it.

Israel will suffer much because of their rejection of Christ. The 7 year tribulation affects Israel more than anywhere else. It will also cause many to repent and turn to Christ.

Some Christians like to "spiritualise" aspects of God's word that they don't like and take literally aspects that fit their prejudices. Everyone will give an account of their words to God. There are some who should be sweating at that thought.

.... yeah im not seeing that in this thread or discussion though , and. Certainly haven't said any of it . So I can't really help you there ....was my point why argue with me about ehat other people said . what I was talking about is all laid out in scripture.

1 Chronicles 16:17-18 KJV
[17] And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, And to Israel for an everlasting covenant, Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of thier inheritance."

Deuteronomy 6:1, 3, 25 KJV
Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
...Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
...And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

its not just god saying " ive promised to give you this land forever " the law of moses lays pit all of the condotions for israel when he delivered then into the land fulfilling thr promose to abraham . He never said " I won't give you a law you must keep in the land ...he said tbe opposite .

Deuteronomy 11:26-29, 31-32 KJV
[26] Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; [27] a blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

and a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. [29] And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
[31] For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein. [32] And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

tell me what did israel do for the next several hundred years ? And what had he said would happen if they did that? What was the curse he placed upon the mount across from the blessing ? It's all written in Moses law regarding thier land inheritance ......

jesus is not a out restoring Israel's land . He's about saving souls lost in a dying world eho will Inherit his eternal kingdom which isn't found on a map of this world

One would think Romans 11 alone puts to rest any notion of replacement of the chosen people of God, the Jews, by Gentiles.

The faithful faith-full in Christ ,his church, are Israel.
Galatians 3.

No it isn't. Israel has a right to defend their people.

Obey the Bible.
Which testament ? Moses teaches to take revenge when offended tbis is a jewish law goven by moses

Jesus teaches not to do that but rather .....to turn the other cheek when offended .

one law was for israel when they entered thier land the other is for Christians whether a Jewish convert to Christianity or a gentile convert to the same faith

jesus doesn't teach violent means of solving issues nor dods he justify retaliation or repeating evil for evil

you know I believe israel had the right earthly according to our world to retaliate but they have exacted about 25 times the revenge that was justified. They've probably killed more children below 5 than anyone everyone in Gaza has ever killed bugs .....if it's an eye for an eye israel has extracted 25 eyes for every one they lost......at some point one would have to wonder if jesus is the one behind the mass bombings of civilains and combatants alike that's funded by the US tax payer

God promised to restore Israel in spite of their rebellion. That happened in 1948. Right now, the church is growing in Israel like never before. I would not advise anyone to go and live in Israel. When the tribulation comes, Israel will bear the brunt of it for the same reason as always. However, the remnant will be saved, as always. Even in the wicked reign of Ahab, God had 7,000 who did not follow Baal.

God is working in Israel in parallel with the church. It's not either/or. Spiritually, there is no distinction. However God uses Israel as evidence that He keeps His promises. 1948 is the nation born in one day. And Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives, not to New York, London or Paris.

God exiled Israel a number of times but always brought them back. 2,000 years is a lot to us but a couple of days to God.

No it isn't. Israel has a right to defend their people.
AMEN!
Especially so when facing a savage merciless enemy that vows to wipe them off the face of the Earth.

Hamas sent 22 thousand rockets, making for 22 thousand strikes, upon tiny Israel.
Hamas terrorists followed and murdered or took hostage Jews and civilians that same day,October 7th 2023 and days after.

Even burning Jewish babies alive in their cribs. Beheading them before the eyes of their parents.

No one can support that evil and call themselves a Christian. No,not one!

And yes,Israel has every right to fight back.

"(This list does not include IDF personnel, Israel Police officers, Israel Security Agency officers and first responders who were killed in the attack and civilians killed by Iranian missile strikes during Operation Rising Lion)."

Here's the real interesting part.

America, often described as a Christian nation,is allied with Israel.
Many Christians "Stand with Israel."

However, and those who know the New Testament know the verses I'm combining to make this statement, Jesus says we are to love Hamas! And not resist an evil person. And,being Christians were killed and taken hostage too on October 7th 3023, when Hamas struck them with 22,000 rockets and beheaded or burned the babies alive, those Christians should have "turned the other cheek" to Hamas.

What a blip,huh?

King David would differ with you on that score. Israel has tried peace, given land, for peace. They have left Gaza to their own devices and what do they do? Take all money and make more war against Israel. They have been offered peace agreements time after time and refused. And still you think Israel owes more. The Bibas boys were strangled. The hostages were tortured, starved, the women raped so badly their hips were broken. Are you a father? Do you have women in your life?! What would you do to a man who came into your home and did that to your women? You believe God would have you stand there and turn the other cheek? They took old women and young women, babies. Think about that. What they went through. You have no right to say what Israel should and should do in that situation. No one stopped America when they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, told them they were wrong or too many died. Only Israel is held accountable when Muslims have murdered thousands around the world. And NO one has stopped them, the UN looks the other way as does the world. It's not a news story unless a Jew is involved. Hypocrisy at it's highest level.

Edited quoted text above to 2023 from 3023. Love GBoard, really .

Autocorrect writes live,every time I type,love.

Millions of Christians disagree with you. I'm one. There is a great deal yet to be fulfilled. Have you ever considered that your interpretation could be wrong?

HisH couldn't be wrong if they tried. If they are wrong they are still right. If she doesn't know what she's talking about, she's still right. God Himself couldn't shift her opinion.

Already did, in 48. And it continues today.

Until the fullness of the Gentiles have come in. Leave it to Him, He can do more than one thing at a time.
Jesus restored Israel's land in 48 ? I thought that was the u.s. and tbe allies solution for the Jewish " problem " plaguing the world st the time? And wasn't it sort of account pmished by a mass slaughter of the people who were living in the land at the time? ....I'm not sure God is behind these modern military conquests but maybe. That sounds more like the ot law of Moses.

"Until the fullness of the Gentiles have come in. Leave it to Him, He can do more than one thing at a time. "
yeah he does the things he says though like when he makes a covenant with a people
Deuteronomy 28:9-10 KJV
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. [10] And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

Deuteronomy 28:58-59, 61-65 KJV
[58] If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE Lord THY GOD; [59] then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
[61] Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. [62] And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. [63] And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. [64] And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. [65] And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

There's an actual agreement between god and the children of israel regarding the land he gave them . The contract is based on Moses words written in his book of tbier covenent law. This can never change its eternal.

they could have kept his word and how bored him and been blessed above all other people's. Or they could break his word and they would be cursed and destroyed and fiether he would use them to spread his judgements across the globe as they wandered into all nations.

the land the men in the world are always fighting over isn't what the new covenant is about the esrth and all the land is going to burn up ...his promise was to make israel a new earth and a new heaven after they broke tbier covenant and cursed the esrrh to doom and destruction . Before them e eryone elae had already offended god they were the chosen people after the world offended him.

Isaiah 24:5-6, 17, 19-20 KJV
[5] The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. [6] Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
[17] Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
[19] The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. [20] The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Thats what peter is explaining amd really the entire nt ....Again to be clear of what I'm saying israel has an inheritance it's just not where the world us looking and what they are all fighting over it's not the land of the ot ....it's much better the new heavens and earth ...the new jerusalem that comes down to a new earth from heaven.....

Israel is forever beloved of God ...but israel does t just mean you have isralite flesh and blood .....that's irrelevant israel is not identified like tbat

Such as the ethnicity of Christ Jesus?
You do realize that His lineage is of paramount importance..... right?

Also that of Joseph and Mary.

Yes of course it is important that Jesus is born as king in the line of David.
He has established the line of throne of Davis forever in His heavenly kingdom, thereby fulfilling God's promise to Israel.
It does not matter that others from that line can no longer be found, because there never needs to be another king in the line of David.
The fact that Jesus' kingdom is heavenly makes it a very level playing field for us regarding ethnicity.
Actually it is a very good arrangement, but if you find it unacceptable of course you are free to keep howling about it.
