“If you think these arguments came from a machine, then you haven’t read enough Scripture to recognize the fingerprints of a man who has lived in the text for decades; AI produces smooth sentences, but it cannot produce conviction, it cannot produce the weight of exegesis, and it cannot produce the kind of coherence that comes from wrestling with the Word until it shapes your bones — so if you’re accusing me of outsourcing my mind to a computer, the burden is on you to show where the argument breaks, because the only thing you’ve proven so far is that you don’t know how to distinguish polished language from lived theology.” So... You want the answer or not?
I can recognize AI phrasing which goes beyond "polished language". I know you have a history of defending yourself despite the fact you admitted in another thread you use AI. So, I'm not going to engage in a debate with you. Or, with your AI responses anyway on this matter. It would be nice if you didn't use it, but that's up to you.

I use the tool to write what I say, not to tell me what to say, and only because I have no choice as some of you were already told, and your accusation collapses into the very error Scripture warns against — judging by appearance instead of truth (John 7:24). Discernment is not suspicion, not intuition, and not labeling something “AI‑generated” because it sounds polished; biblical discernment tests content against the Word, not the vessel that delivered it (1 Thess 5:21). So if what I say aligns with Scripture, receive it; if it contradicts Scripture, reject it — but calling something false simply because it sounds structured or articulate is unbiblical judgment, the kind Jesus rebuked when He said, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

You say 1 thing in 1 thread and another in another thread. Not debating this.

God bless.

righteous judgment requires engagement, examination, and Scripture‑based testing, not silence, dismissal, or retreat. A refusal to debate truth is not spiritual maturity — it is the abandonment of the very discernment God commands His people to exercise.

Sudan is roughly 91%,maybe a little more, Muslim.

In Afghanistan, after Biden-Obama returned the country to the Taliban, it is impossible for any Afghani who wants to live to openly admit they are Christian.

In 2021, a minister of their government said,“We will cut any Christian we find into pieces.”

There are Christians there though the numbers would be hard to calculate given the risk.

Christians CAN go to Afghanistan though as I recall a nurse from the church I went to had gone there to work in the hospital for a year. she came back and shared her experiences there.

She said in Afghanistan the women aren't too fussed when their children die as they can always have another one. The hospitals are pretty basic. I don't think she was allowed to say she was a Christian but obvs she wasn't a muslim, however it was probably she had to wear whatever uniform the nurses wore so she would have blended in at work at least.

We do get Afghani and Sudani refugees in NZ.

The Sudani refugee I know who worked in the community garden was Christian.

A lot of former catholics become born again Christians but they still would have family ties to the church. The catholic religion is all-encompassing, esp if you grow up in it and don't have a choice, you live in a catholic neighbourhood, go to catholic schools, have catholic children...but you can fall in love with a non-catholic who has to pretend to be catholic so you can get married.

The other thing is one of the ancient creeds that some non-catholic churches adhere to does mention believing in catholic church. But they get round this by saying 'Catholic' means 'Holy' or 'entire'

I wouldn't assume that catholics cannot be born-again christians. If that is the case than all of Ireland is apostate and the Protestant ones in the North are all right and just for trying to take over their land. ?!

Anyway, not trying to get in argument, but would that mean Ireland has NO christians?

Christians can go to Afghanistan. But under Taliban rule the constraints are severe.

When I say Catholic, I refer to the original Roman Catholic church, not the denominational branches off of it. I know there are going to be different doctrinal beliefs. So I wouldn't automatically say all of Ireland has no Christians, but Roman Catholicism practices break various commandments on the regular on top of their beliefs. Like, Baptism removes sin, or confessing to a priest removes sin, and someone has to be in a state of "grace" otherwise they go to purgatory. So if you die before confession, well... its either hell or purgatory and the only way out is prayer. And let's not get into the idea that they believe the Pope cannot teach in error because the Holy Spirit protects him... I mean, there's... a lot.

But just like someone getting out of any cult, people can be saved.

Sometimes I confuse Afghanistan with Pakistan as they are right next to each other.

Malala Ysoufazi is from Pakistan where she says girls cannot get an education or have human rights. It's predominantly muslim

I never quite understood how, when she was shot/dodged the bullet she got air-lifted all the way to England?? I mean how? Nobody I know that ever was in an emergency situation was ever air-lifted out of their country and plonked in another one where they didn't know anybody...

Aside from refugees that dared to escape, (and planned it all) I don't know how that happens to ordinary people living in Pakistan.

I didn't know the RCC had denominational branches. It can't as that's not the nature of the institution. Ireland adheres to RCC like all the other Catholic majority countries although now after Vatican 2 I think it was they are allowed to have services in their own languages, so it's less of a mystery to them. Being religious though isn't the same as being spiritual for many people. Also its a cultural thing.

A lot of Filipinos I know just grew up in Catholicism but don't always adhere to it. I once asked why all the Mary things and the friend who answered said they just needed a maternal figure...otherwise who do the women look to or identify with? In protestant churches it's tends to be all about Jesus as if women don't matter and Mary least of all as his mother who raised him.

Agreed. You can have a cultural Catholic without a Spiritual Catholic, but I'd still argue both aren't saved. The gate is narrow. So I split it like this:
1) Anyone who practices Roman Catholicism as their religion, isn't saved. Their doctrinal belief on salvation is incorrect.
2) Each individual person can sit in a church and hold different beliefs than the primary religion. So as an individual, someone sitting in a catholic church could potentially be saved.

My prime argument is about number 1 though.

oh ok
But you aren't the one that is doing the saving.

That's all Jesus.
Of course, but understanding salvation has to at least be correct. Otherwise anyone can be "saved" with false belief in salvation, which makes no theological sense and isn't backed by scripture.

There really is no argument there.
There's no argument here at all.

It's strange that these conditions are present on a forum for Love. The word of God is one, so why so many different responses to it?

Nothing new under the sun.

This has occurred for thousands of years.

Think,Reformation. As but one example.

Love? Think Crusades. Was that love?
Think of all the inquisitions that occurred in history. Was that love?

This is an Internet discussion forum.
Not everyone who joins and marks,Christian,on the registration page are so.

We are not the Borg. We are not nor have we ever,as the Church of Christ, meaning all who are in him, been of one mind in all things.

Evidence of the faith, and love, arrives when as alleged adults, we can arrive in a thread and engage in civil discourse over any one topic.

That's not always possible either.

We're human. We're everything God means that to be.

I'd be the change I want to see. You don't have to give a bad reply, just maintain the cause plainly or don't speak.

Bible Translations issues

Not everyone spoke or read Hebrew/Greek/Latin

Not everyone can speak or read English either.

Or any of the other thousand languages in the world. (I suppose that's the case for 'unknown tongues')

Audio Bibles can be good though for the right people if there is an oral culture ie. not much literacy in the population. After all we hear the gospel, and its meant to be read out loud.

No Christians living in the Vatican I suppose. Eek. Is it a country? I heard that it was, but maybe I'm mistaken. I know Monaco is a country and it has it's own King but it's very tiny.
