That is incorrect. The Temple described in Ezekiel will never be built. Most get this one wrong because of a lack of doing their proper homework.
Scripture teaches us plainly that Ezekiel's Temple was a *conditional promise*:
| Ezekiel 43:11 - And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. |
That word *if* is a big deal. We all know that the Israelites did not show shame nor did they repent, etc. According to God's clear instructions, Ezekiel was to show them the plans on that condition. Since they did not meet those conditions, the plans were scrapped. Had Ezekiel showed them the plans, he would be in violation of God's command.
Again, according to the Word of God, Ezekiel's Temple will never be built. New Jerusalem supersedes it. Sure, there are some similarities, but they are obviously not the same thing.
