I agree that there are verses that establish the time frame for the onset of the last days. But none you shared definitely give an end to the period or establishes what last days refers to.“It's last days; not last years or last millennia. It implies something imminent.“
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
2 Peter 3:8 KJV
maby the phrase “last days “ is dependent on the context of what’s being said
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:”
Acts 2:17 KJV
We know this was beginning to be fulfilled at pentocost so pat days would be present at the time .
But in other places after that it refers to “last days” as in the future like here
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV
Peter also
“knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
2 Peter 3:3-4 KJV
Maybe it’s context dependent .
Good to see you on the site again. Hope you are well.
