Steven was referring to the Israelites under Moses.
Sure, very much Old Covenant.
Interesting that he called them an ekklesia though.
"ek" means out and "klesia" is a pluralized noun from the verb "kaleow" (call).
The called out ones.
I am sure that you understand that the old testament saints were also saved by Jesus?
Hebrews 11 teaches that.

Not sure what Job's genealogy was, but they say he was a contemporary of Abraham.

Job 19:25
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Most of us understand now that his redeemer is Jesus.
Interestingly, a lot of Orthodox don't take the story of Job as literal. More like a parable with a point.

I expect, for instance, resurrection must precede the rapture, 1 Thess. 4:16, and the first resurrection is POST trib, not pre-trib, therefore rapture must be post trib as well. Lol to yourself.
Of course not. For one thing you fail to rightly understand WHEN this scenario takes place in terms of the Hebrew wedding protocol.
The Hebrew wedding protocol PATTERN makes the PRE-TRIB rapture quite inevitable! All of this preterist, post-trib mid-trib nonsense is biblically illiterate rubbish. But it is no surprise to me that those who have extreme prejudice against all things Jewish and Hebrew remain blind to the blatant and obvious lessons provided in the Scriptures.

The 12-Step Hebrew Wedding Pattern
1) The Bride Is Chosen by the Father

In ancient Israel, the father of the groom chose the bride.

Spiritual meaning
God the Father chose the Church for His Son before the world began.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you…” — John 15:16
“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world…” — Ephesians 1:4

2) The Bride Price Is Paid

The groom paid a mohar (bride price) to redeem the bride.

Spiritual meaning
Jesus paid the price with His blood.

“You were bought with a price.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20

3) The Marriage Covenant (Betrothal) Is Made

The couple drank from a cup of wine sealing the covenant (kiddushin).
They were legally married — though not yet living together.

Spiritual meaning
The New Covenant was sealed at the Last Supper.

“This cup is the new covenant in My blood.” — Luke 22:20

The Church today is betrothed — not yet living with Christ physically.

4) The Bride Is Set Apart

The bride was now consecrated to her groom alone.

Spiritual meaning
The Church is sanctified — set apart for Christ.

“I betrothed you to one husband… Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 11:2

5) The Groom Leaves to Prepare a Place

The groom returned to his father’s house to build a bridal chamber.

He could not return until his father approved the place.

Spiritual meaning
Jesus ascended to Heaven to prepare our dwelling.

“I go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:2

6) The Bride Waits — Not Knowing the Day or Hour

Only the father decided when the groom could go get his bride.

The bride lived in expectation — always ready.

Spiritual meaning
No one knows when Christ will return.

“No one knows the day or hour…” — Matthew 24:36

7) The Groom Comes With a Shout and a Trumpet

When the father approved, the groom went to fetch the bride.

He came at night with:
• a shout
• a trumpet blast
• a procession

Spiritual meaning
This is the rapture signal.

“The Lord Himself will descend with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God…” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16

8) The Bride Is Taken Away (This Is the Rapture)

The bride was lifted up and carried away to the groom’s house.

She did not walk — she was taken.

Spiritual meaning
The Church is caught up.

“We who are alive… shall be caught up together… to meet the Lord in the air.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:17

This is the rapturebefore judgment.

9) The Bride Enters the Bridal Chamber

The couple entered the chuppah (bridal chamber) for about 7 days.

The door was shut.

Spiritual meaning
The Church is in Heaven while Earth goes through the 7-year Tribulation.

“Come… enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you.” — Isaiah 26:20

10) The Marriage Is Consummated

The bride and groom became one.

Spiritual meaning
The Church is permanently united with Christ.

“They are no longer two but one.” — Matthew 19:6

11) The Bride Is Revealed

After the chamber period, the bride appeared publicly.

Spiritual meaning
The Church returns with Christ in glory.

“When Christ appears, you also will appear with Him in glory.” — Colossians 3:4

12) The Marriage Supper

A huge public feast followed.

Spiritual meaning
This is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

“Blessed are those invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” — Revelation 19:9

🔥 Why This Is So Powerful

This wedding model:

  • Explains why the Church is removed before judgment
  • Matches rapture language exactly
  • Explains “no one knows the day or hour”
  • Explains the 7-year separation
  • Explains why the Church returns with Christ

It is not a metaphor invented later — it is built into Jewish marriage itself, which God designed to be a prophetic blueprint.

So in short we are to reject those that have not come to the light yet. With hold our prayers and support and point out there sins to anyone who'd listen. To esteem them less than ourselves.
This Israel that we have today is the same as a unsaved gentile according to your post but yet it seems to me that many here go out of their way to futher demonize what God has begun to regather.
Jesus said.....a house divided will not stand......if we be grafted in then surely Israel is the part of the house which needs to be remodel.
Our hearts should be in liign as the fathers heart is a aligned for the lost yet some here take it upon their self to judge according to the past and place a dim light on the future.
Israel is currently spiritually lost, but God is in the process of gathering, and changing them (parable of the fig tree). We look at a fallen Israel right now and think God isn't with them, but He's doing this to keep His word and for Himself, not because the nation is holy... Loads of times scriptures says about God keeping a promise for His word sake, rather than the people at the times sake.

Processes take a long time, they aren't quick. We shouldn't demonize Israel, we should be helping with the process of spiritual change. Ezekiels dry bones + Fig tree. I think that's starting to take place. Due to how much the Lord is stepping in with Israel's protection (I've heard insane stories) with Iran, more people are looking to God because Israel is WIDELY secular currently. God has to show up first, then correct. Exactly what He did with them coming out of Egypt. Show up in miracles galore and then... comes the Torah. Correction...

Actually I wasn't joking about that.
Have you ever noticed that the heavenly Jerusalem is called a Church?

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and CHURCH of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

"Church" in v.23 is translated from "ekklesia", and as you see the faithful Hebrews expect to be in it.
So the next age must be a church age too?

Steven also refers to the children of Israel as a "church in the wilderness" in Acts 7:38, also "ekklesia".

Strict separation between the concept of Biblical Israel and the concept of ekklesia is insisted on by people who wish to add their own particular list of extra concepts to the Bible, yet in scripture we find ekklesia and Israel much more connected.
Here is a strict division for you:

The unique one and only mystery gentile Bride Church begins at Pentecost and ends at the Rapture.
God's counter has topped up, that ORDER/RANK has been completed.

Rom 11:25
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Amo 9:13 See, the days will come, says the Lord, when the ploughman will overtake him who is cutting the grain, and the crusher of the grapes him who is planting seed; and sweet wine will be dropping from the mountains, and the hills will be turned into streams of wine.

Amo 9:14 And I will let the fate of my people Israel be changed, and they will be building up again the waste towns and living in them; they will again be planting vine-gardens and taking the wine for their drink; and they will make gardens and get the fruit of them.

There is truly MASSIVE quantities of Scripture that say likewise.

Absolutely massive and conclusive.

God/Jesus brings Israel into the New Covenant and restores it here on this earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20). It's shown also in Jeremiah 31 and Zechariah 12. The only way the restoration happens on the "new earth" is if God/Jesus allows people to continue to live, die, and repopulate in it like the book of Isaiah says, but I don't think that was His intention. Plus, we have to consider the scriptures where it talks about the final battle that happens before the 1,000 years where people will be spending 7 months burying the dead and 7 years burying the weapons once that time of peace comes in (Ezekiel 39). I don't believe the "new earth" was intended for that either.
Yes I understand your opinion/ interpretation I’ve heard it a lot…….

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

So, why don't you explain yours in response? I haven't heard your opinion on how you view the "new earth". What do you think will take place there? Do you think the "new earth" will only last for 1,000 years? Or do you think we're currently/already living in some age of peace for 1,000 years while Satan is supposed to be sitting in the Abyss? Are the new heaven and earth a combined heaven/earth?

The gospel is the testament of the second coming of Christ......

Let's look at this further brother.

What did the Apostles do when Jesus was crucified?

When the Shepard is smitten the sheep scatter.
Hide themselves in fear of being killed
Deny him
Declare him dead and gone.

Now compare to the resurrection. The second time they meet him.

Now look at the story in mark 8:22 the blind man.....
How many times did Jesus touch him.
Now my previous post from Amos uses the term planted.....
Now who originally planted and placed man in it?

I’ve shared several scriptures as I stated it

The only scriptures you share continuously are the ones pointing to a new heaven and earth as the only explanation for the restoration of Israel, but you've never explained how that fits in with the rest of scriptures. What do you think the 1,000 year reign of Christ (Revelation 20) is for and why do you think it happens on the new earth? Why do you think people will be living, dying, and repopulating on the new earth?

“I haven't heard your opinion on how you view the "new earth"”

the new earth and heavens is what God promised israel as an inheritance after they broke thier covenant …..it’s simply what God began promising israel after they cirsed themselves by breaking the old covenant

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To summarize it’s his promise to the faithful ….

“Do you think the "new earth" will only last for 1,000 years?”

I think the scripture makes it plain

“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭66:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

israels restoration and blessing will take place on the new earth. It’s his promise

“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if that said “ according to his promise he’s going to rebuild the city that’s going to be destroyed soon and bring us back to our old covenant inheritance “ then I’d believe that but scripture is to repetetive to ignore

Jerusalems restoration is here in Christ only

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, ( it’s still in heaven until this point ) prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. ( this is when he’s going to set foot on earth again )

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I think I’ve been clear about my thoughts and tried to consistently share the scriptures or at least a few of them that support the thoughts .

Ots hard to see sometimes but in the ot prophetic storylines israel breaks the covenant and God finally tells them he’s going to bring all the curses upon them but he’s merciful and loves man , even moreso israel so he began making this promise to them who had broken the covenant and turned it to cursing and death

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, ( past tense ) saith the LORD:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

With the new covenant came a new promise for a new heaven and earth where restoration will happen for all things at once on the promised land of God the new creation

Yeah I’ve read the gospel a time or two but why is this all about you asking questions ? Can you adress any of the scriptures that are saying what they say ?

Let me inquire to you a few questions about the scriptures

“The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭24:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Who had god made an everlasting covenant with ? Warning then of curses if they broke it ?

who is this that Israel’s prophet is talking about ? And who’s the end promised to ?

“I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name. I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts; a people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; ……which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom, your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.

…..But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number. Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name: that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65:1-3, 5-7, 9, 11-12, 15-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Honestly, I didn't understand your answer about the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth based on the way you answered it. Can you explain it further? When does it start, end, and what do you think it's purpose is?

As for the New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah, I believe it begins with the return of Jesus on the current earth for 1,000 years for the following reasons...

The Book of Zechariah describes the millennial kingdom as occurring on the current earth rather than the new earth by detailing specific, localized geographical and political events that presuppose the existence of the existing world order. Key prophecies focus on Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives, indicating a physical, earthly reign rather than a cosmic renewal.
  • Geographical Specificity: Zechariah 14:4 states that the Messiah's feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which will split in two, creating a large valley. This describes a literal, geological alteration of the current earth's topography, distinct from the creation of a "new heaven and new earth."
  • Political Continuity: The text portrays the nations still existing and interacting with Jerusalem, requiring them to travel annually to worship the King (Zechariah 14:16–19). This implies a continued earthly political structure where disobedient nations face consequences like withheld rain, a scenario inconsistent with the sinless, eternal state.
  • Restoration of Current Land: Zechariah 14:10 describes the land from Geba to Rimmon being transformed and Jerusalem being lifted up, indicating a renewal and elevation of the existing Holy Land rather than its replacement.
  • Earth-Centered Reign: The prophecy explicitly states that YHWH will be King over all the earth (Zechariah 14:9), establishing a tangible, terrestrial kingdom with Jerusalem as its capital, contrasting with the spiritual or heavenly nature of the eternal state.
After the 1,000 years are over (Revelation 20) the heaven and earth, New Jerusalem, will come down out of Heaven like Revelation 21 says. At this point there will be no more need for rain, sun, moon, punishment, death, dying, or repopulating. The current earth will be destroyed (2 Peter 3:10) and the New Jerusalem will replace it in a permanent state of perfection.

I’ll let you have that last word God bless
