Matthew 16:28 KJVS
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

That is referring to the Second Death. Look at the previous verse:

Matthew 16:27 - For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

The verses refer to the end time judgments for both Wheat and Tares.

Yes! lol.

I finally finished my Daniel 11 study of which you can download from here:

It's time to update your website. I hope you didn't use Frontpage. :p 🤣

Daniel 9:27 is not talking about the 'Abomination of Desolation'!

The evidence is overwhelmingly conclusive that it is. Occam's razor and whatnot. :coffee:

Rather, it is talking about abominations in general - the many [various] abominations in/of Israel.

The context of Daniel points to the same event.

Daniel 11:31 is specifically referring to the one-and-only real-and-true actual bona fide [prophetic] 'Abomination of Desolation'.

Agreed.

Daniel 12:11 is making specific reference to the 'Abomination of Desolation' as referred to in Daniel 11:31.

Let's take a closer look:

Daniel 12:11 - And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Remember, we need to add Revelation 12 to the equation. Revelation 12 was the Exodus. The 1290, therefore, is part of that same prophecy. It is a continuation of the 1260 days. It is not some separate thing, completely unrelated.

Thus, we are left with 1290 being either 24hr days or 1290 being years. Obviously, the Late Date Exodus of roughly 1260 BC fits perfectly.
  • Moses Builds Tabernacle 1260 BC (Late Date Exodus)
  • 1260 Years Later, Jesus is Born
  • 30 Years Later (1290), Jesus Begins Ministry
  • 45 Years Later (1335), Jerusalem is destroyed
Thus, we have 1335 years from the first temple to the last temple. It was always about the Temple of God. Her Seed and Abraham's Seed:

Why do you and so many others wish to give glory to Satan by making it all about him instead of Jesus where the Glory belongs?

Daniel 9:27 is not talking about the 'Abomination of Desolation' as referred to in Daniel 11:31.

When the verses in Daniel 11 are properly interpreted, without bias, without agenda, without 'denominational talking points', without false dogma, without 'Hollywood entertainment', they clearly paint a picture that leaves no room for the imagination.

Sorry you were lied to. We all were. It sucks to have to redo websites, sermons, books, videos. This is the litmus test for those that can handle correction. Most cannot. I am beginning to worry about you. I had high hopes until you posted those Wyatt vids. Ouch, that guy was such a fraud.

Just because some form and use of the word 'abomination' exists in a verse together with some form and use of the word 'desolate' does not mean it is referring to the one-and-only real-and-true actual bona fide [prophetic] 'Abomination of Desolation' - which occurred in 167 B.C.

That is why I had to spend months going verse by verse to see where the mistakes were made. The main culprit is Daniel 11:14. That is where most mistakenly keep going with Antiochus III, who died in Daniel 11:13.

Also - the words you bolded and underlined in the Daniel 9:27 verse above are not included within the 'midst of the week' statement in that same verse - the scope of which is [only] the words between the colon and the first/next comma after it.

The agenda to hide Jesus in the OT is real. People play so many games with the text. I don't have to. :)

Yes - the Crucifixion occurred 'in the midst of the week'; however, it had absolutely nothing to do with the one-and-only real-and-true actual bona fide [prophetic] 'Abomination of Desolation' - which occurred in 167 B.C.

If you have the time, read the interpretations in the link I provided. Let me know where I went wrong.

Daniel 11:31 and 12:11 expand the pattern, not redefine it; they describe the Antiochus event as a historical instantiation of the same category introduced in Daniel 9.

That is absolutely incorrect and part of the false dogma and 'traditions' I keep warning about.

Again, Antiochus IV Epiphanes died in Daniel 11:19. He is no longer referenced after that. The Abomination of Desolation happens many decades later.

The Fourth Kingdom was in Daniel 11 all along, just like they were in previous chapters. You want to talk about 'patterns', there you go. You violated your own pattern logic.

You’re right that Antiochus dies before the final desecration event—but that actually confirms, not refutes, the pattern claim.
Daniel 11:31 explicitly ties the “abomination that makes desolate” to Antiochus’ desecration of the temple (167 BC), which is historically recognized as the concrete instantiation of the same category introduced in 9:27: cessation of sacrifice plus profaning intrusion in the sanctuary.
Daniel 11:40–45 then moves beyond Antiochus into a king whose death the author does not know, which is why serious scholarship distinguishes the Antiochus section (up to ~11:39) from the later eschatological extension.
So when I say 11 and 12 “expand the pattern,” I’m not smuggling in tradition; I’m tracking the text’s own move:
(1) Antiochus as near‑term abomination;
(2) a later king and crisis that reuse the same desecration motif in a fourth‑kingdom horizon.
Your point that Antiochus is gone by 11:19 is correct; your conclusion that therefore 11:31 cannot be pattern‑linked to 9:27 is not—because the category “abomination that makes desolate” is explicitly reused, and that reuse is exactly what establishes the pattern.

The final Antichrist is not the final King of the North. The final King of the North was Octavian. Once he conquered the King of the South (Mark Antony and Cleopatra), that was the end of the King of the North/South dichotomy and the beginning of the Little Horn of Daniel 8, i.e., the Roman Empire and sixth head of the beast.

Nope that is entirely wrong. Daniel 11 confirms the final King of the North is the Man of Sin who comes after three other kigns fall before him.

This is a butchering of both the Bible and Roman history. Egypt had already belonged to Rome by the time of Octavion, there were not three kings before Octavion, none of the events of Revelation correlate to Octavion's reign. In fact Jesus was born during Octavion's reign, and then crucified in the reign of Tiberius so it makes no sense for Jesus to be talking about the end of the world in a period that already had passed by the time he talks about it.

No, Daniel does not describe an idol. Daniel describes the Crucifixion and events and people surrounding it.

Daniel outright describes an idol as does Revelation 13. Idols and the false religions are often referred to as abominations in the Bible. That fact the Man of Sin makes the abomination of desolation in the image of the Beast of the Sea is explicit confirtmation that it is an idol. Daniel 11 goes to great lengths explaining how the Man of Sin exalts a god his fathers knew not and magnifies this false god which just even more strongly confirms it is an idol.

Daniel 11:21-45 is *NOT* future as some claim. Daniel 11 is chronological history from Medo-Persia, to Greece, to Rome. Nowhere do the verses magickally transition thousands of years into the future for no reason whatsoever.

The final verses of Daniel 11 describe Octavian and King Herod. Daniel 12 picks up from there and describes the times that Jesus walked the earth.

Here are the last two verses of Daniel 11:

Daniel 11:44 - But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
  • Tidings out of the East: Three Wise Men informing King Herod of the birth of Jesus
  • Tidings out of the North: King Herod receives news that his son betrayed him
  • Fury to destroy: Massacre of the Innocents and the execution of his own son
...And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

King Herod created many works of architecture. He died miserable with none to help. The verses fit those times so perfectly, the odds of them referring to anything else is basically impossible.

Daniel 12 picks up from there:

Daniel 12:1 - And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
  • At that time: The times Jesus walked the earth
  • Time of Trouble: Jacob's Trouble in 70 AD
  • People shall be delivered: Finished work on the Cross
  • Etc.
Thus, the Great Tribulation begins:

Matthew 24:21 - For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

It is the same language as in Daniel 12:1. It is the same event. It is the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Of course that is the time of Jacob's Trouble. How is that not trouble?

Again, the Great Tribulation continues to this very day.

Daniel 11 is in the future. The sequence of events, the precise sequence of the Kings of the North, etc. have not ever happened in history, easily they have never occured in Roman history. That's without even pointing out the obvious Apocalyptic signs and judgments that have never happened but that have to happen even before all that.

God no longer dwells in temples made by human hands.... ergo....there is no building or structure which is holy.
One main point why futurism fails yet again.
I was watching the thread - Revelation 19- A major Key to understanding Revelations - and you should see the contortions of scripture they go through to try and prove one Rapture theory over another.

Someone said what about Matthew 24:31 saying they will be gathered.

Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

So I posted a reply,

What Jesus is saying here is that following the destruction of Jerusalem, that by his angels or ministers, will gather together for himself an ecclesia - a called out body of believers from all nations under heaven.

But Obviously that was to simple and not complicated enough. So I am not watching that thread anymore - It is just a headache :)

The reason I mention it is because I am wondering if my view is the same as the Preterist view ? And youre the expert on that ;)

Far from an expert, it takes a long, long time to deprogram oneself. ;)

I am firm on a few things for sure ... God dealt with a certain group completely in the first century at the end of that age ...... but that is an interesting point about Matthew 24:31..... that definitely is far more in context of the passage than this future rapture made up event to sell books.

I know we have some different views, although pretty close on many, but this thread is more often than not >>>>> error refuting error.
Agree there is no point in engaging.
It is all over the map!!

Thanks for the reply :)

Was you a futurist at first like I was? That's what was drummed into me at my first church. Before I started attending that church I had a simple understanding of the bible, then when I got all that indoctrination everything because so complex lol

I think we are close view wise on much of the scriptures. To me the futurist has to read things into the text then juggle things about to try and make all the others scriptures fit their view and it gets very contradictory IMO

Yes, I was so captivated with this idea of a rapture and anti-Christ after becoming a believer I spent more time on futurist eschatology than learning about God!

The whole futurist view really fell apart for me once I did the historical research about how a certain country come into fruition and
this notion that evil men can be used to fulfill God's plan..... I realized this was pure speculation.

It really defies understanding once one "sees the light" how entire groups of people have been so indoctrinated.

But we did not have that access to information in the early 90"s like we do now, so I really think these people have no excuse, zero, zilch.. which mostly leads me to the believe they are often propagandists.

That's the same reason I'm not watching this thread any more either.

Taking the chronological events of Dan 11 and moving them around (out of the prophetic sequence) just to match with their own theological teachings is no way to get at the truth of the matter.

100s of different denominations gives 100s of different interpretations of prophecies and arguments ad-nauseam.

Just let the bible explain it's own prophecies and in the correct order presented.....

I was watching to see if anyone would post Daniel 12:11 and point out that it says the AOD would be set up 1290 days after the Daily Sacrifice was taken away not 1290 days/years from when it began. https://biblehub.com/interlinear/daniel/12-11.htm
It does not say the AOD would be set up after in my Bible

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Which translation are you using and what Greek manuscript did they translate this from?
