not worrying, just wonder why he was mentioned in the Bible and he had two wives (who were actually named!) while Cain's wife wasn't, or even any of the others, including Abel's 'replacement' Seth

You'd think Noah's wife would be most important as she was the one who carried on when everyone else had perished, and then Shem, Japtheth and Ham's wives were not named as well.
Abraham's wife Sarah was the 'mother of all nations' and gave birth to Isaac
Hagar, Sarah's surrogate who had Ishmael, was driven away. Ishamel's wife isn't named either.

Their name becomes one with the man, the man is the head, similar to how the woman takes the surname of the man in our time.
As for Noah's wife, she might be named in the Bible, it is thought that she is Naamah the daughter of Lamech (of Cain) since it is pretty unusual to end a genealogy with a woman, and being the youngest daughter of the last named generation of Cain it is logically possible she was about the same age as Noah and might explain how the inventions of her brothers survived into the post-Flood world though they themselves certainly perished in the Flood.
Many women don't take the surname of men now, it's the 21st century! Also there are divorced women who will go back to their maiden name.
Solomon's wives and concubines were not named either. Not even the first one. Most all of David's 9 wives were.
Widowed and remarried wives will change their name but may keep their previous husbands surname.
Eg in British Royalty a lot of people still call Prince William's wife Catherine (or Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) Kate Middleton, as if she never married.
The same with Meghan Markle, and Sarah Ferguson ('Fergie')
Princess or Lady Diana's maiden name was Spencer, but nobody ever called her Spence. lol. Nobody even called her Prince Charles wife outside of her husband, but she often referred to him as 'my husband'.

Christians esp todays Christians call each other by their Christian names, i.e their first names. First name basis with everyone.
Older ones may say Mr and Mrs so and so, but it's become quite rare, and often people will say call me .... i.e call me by my first name, don't use a title. Even amongst younger ones with older ones. Age gapes and seniority don't seem to matter anymore.

Oh wow I wonder where if I could borrow a book edition from the library. Church libraries often just don't have books like these, considering they are not part of the canon of the Holy Bible.
They have books like Left Behind series and Francine Rivers and God Wins/Purpose Driven Life books instead.
