In God’s message in His Word:

#1 Literal meaning. It clearly refers to a house—a place where people live. A mansion, on the other hand, is a huge and very spacious house. This is why people become overwhelmed with joy when they are taught that they will have a dwelling place in heaven.

#2 Physical meaning. With our physical eyes, we can see the difference in size between a house and a mansion. A mansion is clearly much larger than an ordinary house. So, how could many mansions be built inside a single house?

Therefore, when we examine points #1 and #2, the message in God’s Word they are not consistent to the truth.

And to #3 Spiritual. What could be the spiritual message of God in John 14:2?

The mansions in heaven point to the destination.
End times

We are the bride as the bible declares.

Your answer to the mansions, is, 100%, Pointing to the betrothal of us, the church, and the groom, Jesus.
It is the only accurate framing of the Mansions in heaven.

We will wait for God to reveal what the truth really is about what He says in John 14:2.

JOHN 14:2
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

In the literal understanding of people, a house refers to a physical dwelling place.

But when the Lord Jesus spoke of it, He was referring to the Kingdom of God, not merely to a physical home.
And the Kingdom of God is in heaven.
GENESIS 28:17
17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Therefore, concerning the house of God that the Lord Jesus mentioned in John 14:2, what He was saying is this: “In My Father’s Kingdom in heaven, there are many mansions prepared and standing.”

Where did Jesus go shortly after this ? He’s preparing them for him to be leavening them but he’s assuring them of his return and letting them know there’s plenty of room for them

Where’s he preparing to go ? Where’s he’s promising to come back and take them to be where he is? Shortly after he told them this , then he went somewhere to the father

He’s telling them that he’s going into heaven to prepare a place for them and will come back and bring them home and there is plenty of room

It’s why you see these people before gods throne in heaven

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”

remember Jesus was telling the same guys they would be persecuted and hated because of him that thoer coty would be soon destroyed and temple and many of them would be killed and accused and imprisoned he told them of great suffering to come upon them but was promising to prepare a place where he was going ( into heaven at right the hand of God ) so you see this group that’s come out of the great tribulation also where Jesus is before the throne in heaven . It’s a vision of his promise being fulfilled but the promise is Jesus telling them he’s prepare that place and come and bring them to where he is

As we continue discussing John 14:2, the Lord Jesus said, “In My Father’s house are many mansions.” This tells us about the place that God has prepared in heaven. The kingdom of God is in heaven, and concerning heaven, the Lord Jesus revealed to the Apostle Paul that there is a third heaven.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:2
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

If that is the case, if there is a third heaven, then there must also be a firts heaven and a second heaven.

The second heaven is where Lazarus the beggar was (Luke 16:19-31), together with the others whom the Lord Jesus saved, such as the thief who was also crucified on the cross on the right side of the Lord. He was taken to Paradise (Luke 23:43).

What, then, would the Lord Jesus reveal to us about where the first heaven is?

In Greek thought, the First "Heaven" is the sky where the birds fly and the clouds live. The Second Heaven is where the planets and the sun live. The Third Heaven is where the Angels and other spiritual beings live.

Paradise was down into the heart of earth.
All those in paradise were removed to heaven where Jesus took them at his ascension.
They make up 'firstfruits' of the church.

Paul the apostle refers to heaven as paradise. The only time Jesus uses the term is:

“Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”—Luke 23:43

The place of Dead saints that needed the gospel.
He went that day. The same day the theif went to paradise.
They both went to paradise, the place of the dead.
You are stumbling over a word definition.

Paradise is NOW in heaven
Paradise was already moved to heaven in Paul's day.

We hear that in Church, but I don't think the Bible actually teaches that Jesus went anywhere during his time in the tomb.
