if i am honest with god and myself about my weaknesses, then there be no surprise of the devils tactics, he will try and use them weaknesses against me, so theres no surprise attack there. Now when attack comes god promises ! we wont be tempted beyond our means:
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
so we know that any attack wont be beyond what we are capable of overcoming as god promises.:
James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
and remember god is in control

The fact that you're aware of the devil's existence means you're already ahead of the game. One of Satan's most effective strategies is convincing the masses that he doesn't exist. But he doesn't give up just because you're a Christian. He'll put doubts and fears in your head (as well as your family members). He'll also try to break up your family, destroy friendships and cause strife at work. But you just need to see it for what is and know that you can and will overcome. Just keep reading the Word, keep praying and do your best to educate your family members about the wiles of the devil, and of course, God's plan of salvation.
