huh, like is there a threshold of how many followers you can have.People with above a certain number of followers on a social media platform.
The theory is that if they have that many people listening to what they say, they must be an influence.
I don't listen to any of them, so I don't know what they are actually saying. But if you have enough followers to be considered an influencer, you can get some people to pay you money for advertisements on your channel. So it seems to be kind of a big thing.
Can you give an example of an influencer?I've never been influenced by an influencer. I understand what they are and how they got to be an influencer.
I don't understand hashtag at all.
It's just anyone who has a lot of followers on instagram, youtube, tik tok or any other social media platform. Anyone can call themselves an influencer, but it started when youtube and instagram blew up and certain people were getting millions of followers. What exactly is an influencer and have you been influenced?

Who actually has the most...like is there a Top 40 of the internet each week. It's just anyone who has a lot of followers on instagram, youtube, tik tok or any other social media platform. I don't know, but it would probably easy to find out. I used to follow this youtube channel with these two Korean girls and their male Korean roommate. It was all comedy and pretty funny. They had something like 100 million followers.Who actually has the most...like is there a Top 40 of the internet each week.
I suppose it is accumulative and you can't really measure it now.
Google maps I would say has the most followers and people logging on and using it every day to go somewhere.I don't know, but it would probably easy to find out. I should have said subscribers. On youtube it's subscribers. On instagram you click the "follow" button just like on facebook.Google maps I would say has the most followers and people logging on and using it every day to go somewhere.
I don't know about single individuals online that have a huge following myself. Sometimes I think maybe those numbers are exaggerated. I suppose someone, or a machine counts all these things like the number of people who download something, the number of times someone clicks on something, the number of comments or responses etc.
Even on CC I think some of that is counted. But what exactly is following? Just liking something? Following doesn't imply that I follow them around like they are some kind of guru or something. It just means they are popular, but popular people don't necessarily always have a big influence as lots of things are popular, and some things people do that are like direct marketing or they get other people to 'spread the word' so it seems like its influential but its really just a fad.
I can think of famous people/figures in history that have had an extraordinary influence on the way people live for good, and also bad, but mostly because they invented something new or inspired a revolution or something like that.
It's not just oh I'm influencing people to buy my merch or watch me or hang on to every word I say.
Can you give an example of an influencer?
I don't know any and what they would influence me about.
Oh an influencer doesn't just have a lot of views or followers, it's someone who posts regularly on youtube or instagram or wherever. For example I subscribe to Captain Steve on youtube. He's a retired airline pilot who posts videos every few days explaining and analyzing things that have happened recently in aviation like plane crashes, near misses, engine failures, etc.. He has over 1 million followers.the biggest one that I know about that also attracted a lot of hate on you-tube was Rebecca Black for her song 'Friday' that she put on herself when she was 14 or something.
Also the one with the most # of viewers I recall people saying it was Baby Shark.
But maybe someone else has surpassed that.
I don't know about the other platforms.
Queen Bey?I'm not familiar with her, but the gal with the big behind that used to be Ye's wife.
What about the boy that unboxed toys. Ryans World or something? But his dad made him do it. Then he got sent all these toys and was just encouraging parents and kids to spend all their disposable income on them. It's a weird category of,job. Influencer.
And yet,some make huge money.
Queen Bey?
