Didn't you just say Jesus allow to do good on sabbath day?
Fyi retired people rest every day. So they are breaking your law?
The purpose of rest is to have holy convocation. It is in Bible. Leviticus.
You need to understand Bible as a complete message.

Just read the 4th commandment word for word for yourself.
It is still one of the 10.
All 10 precepts are endorsed in the OT even BEFORE Moses at Mt. Sinai.
AND all 10 are also endorsed in the NT as still binding on God's people.
Rom 8:7 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."
You could always go argue with the Lord about it.
God said He would make a New Covenant - see Jeremiah 31:31-34
Hebrews 10:9 - Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Hebrews 8:6 - But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.
Hebrews 7:12 - For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
If only the Lord had not provided the Book of Hebrews, right? Funny how you left these important references out.
Well feel free to follow all the 600+ laws in the old covenant like the one about stoning people who sin in public
I'll stick with Jesus as my High Priest and won't be following Moses.

I never said Jesus was imperfect. The habitation for His spirit (His flesh) was perfect for what He needed to accomplish in its season. His temporal body aligned with the intent of God: to send His Son to shed His blood for the remission of sin for man. For this, a body of man was required: one that could suffer harm and die. In this, His body was perfect.
However, after He died He did not arise as Jesus the man. He arose as Christ Jesus, the Life-Giving Spirit. In this form, He could accommodate the spirits of all men being made perfect. These people, included in Him, could be assigned a place of significance: His Body. This is an artful use of the term "body", where the assembly of the many make up the One. Functioning in this way, each member receives her or her identity from the Head, who is Christ Himself.
In short: Jesus was perfect as a man but became greater as the Christ. We are shown this deep, spiritual principle in the seeds of plants. When a seed falls to the ground and dies it does not come up as a seed: it arises as something that can accommodate many seeds. Given enough time one seed can fill the whole earth.

The reformers claim anybody born in to this world in a physical body was given a sin nature by God.
Is that the portion from Mary you are talking about?
So before He was raised from the dead He was not the Christ?
You got scripture for that?
Our bodies are where we are, not who we are. We are spirits clothed in flesh. This is why Adam and Woman were naked yet not ashamed. They were like their Father: spirits from the Spirit. God was their Father because they derived their spirits from Him. The fall occurred when they were tempted and identified with their flesh: the fruit benefited their housing not their spirits.
The reason Jesus could be tempted was because He shared a body like the body of men. So, He could be subject to all of the temptations known to men. (By the way, these things should sound familiar to you because they are found in scripture.) Nevertheless, Jesus never sinned. As a sacrifice for the all the sins of men He was spotless and appropriate.
Of course He was the Christ, even as one in Mary's womb, BUT He could not be revealed as the Christ until His death and resurrection. This principle is the same for us who believe in Him: we cannot receive new life in our mortal bodies unless we are buried with Him and are given new life by the same power that rose Jesus from the grave. This life is contained in our mortal bodies. Yet, we will be given bodies like Christ upon our resurrection or transformation: which ever happens first.
And then Jesus decided to never depart from the Father so He actually decided that He could not be tempted.
We too can be like Him and laugh every time the devil tries to deceive us and ignore him.
Before He went to the Cross, He acknowledged that He was in fact the Christ.
Jesus was raised in a physical body. Not a spirit. He told His disciples to touch him and see He was flesh and bone. He even was hungry and ate with them.
Jesus' mother was Mary, of the line of David, the tribe of Judah. His Father was the Holy Spirit.
He was both man AND God.
The dichotomy is not spiritual/physical. It is incorruptible/corruptible or natural/spiritual.
Yes and He laid aside His divinity in order to live and minister on earth as a man anointed by the Holy Spirit

And Jesus' Body was not corrupted until He went to the Cross.

Yes, He was the Christ before the cross but a man cannot accommodate all the spirits of just men.

We used stone tablets when I was in grade school. That didn't make my homework any more important than when we switched quill pens on parchment.
Yes! This gets at the heart of the issue: Jesus, the Son of God, was not merely acting like a man or playing the part of a man. He was a man. If He was not a man, some quasi-being that was unique in creation, He could not have been our propitiation.
