You are treating water baptism as the mechanism of covenant‑entry,
No, I'm not the One Who said He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16)
Jesus said that, and apparently you are teaching others to disobey and otherwise ignore what Jesus said
1 Timothy 6:3-5 - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Rejecting and disobeying the Lord Jesus does not end well.
Jesus defined the New Covenant as in His blood
Yes one must become a born again Christian before getting dunked in the water.
The part you are missing is you are treating what Jesus said as something Christians should ignore.
That's exactly what the devil did in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.
Notice He does not say “he that is not baptized shall be damned,” meaning unbelief is the issue, not lack of immersion.
Twisting Jesus' words around to convince people to be disobedient - just like in the Garden of Eden
and following Him means obeying His covenant terms
So you're saying Jesus was in error by saying what He said in Mark 16:16?
Jesus was not teaching law to the Jews, He was giving instructions to His Apostles to go out in the world and preach the Gospel and part of those instructions were "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned"
Obviously 1 Timothy 6:3-5 is speaking of people doing what you are doing
