Was sex Adam and Eve part of the curse

2 Corinthians 5:8 - We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

The couple were present with the Lord; thus, they were absent from the body.

Sex is not possible without a physical body.

If you are talking of Adam, and Even in the Garden of Eden, yes, they were present with the Lord. But they still had bodies. They would not have needed to eat if they had no physical bodies. Yet God told them that they could eat the fruit from every tree in the Garden except one.

Jeremiah 15:16 - Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

The food was the Word of God.

"Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil." <- Since when does a tree impart knowledge when eating?
 
Satan is described as a Bipedal Reptilian in Eden. Its possible he SA'd Eve and this is where the Serpent Seed line like Cain comes from. Seems to be a Gene War between Humans and Reptilians in this Solar System/Dimension at least. Satan is also cited as a Dragon, Serpent, Snake etc.

But the tree of knowledge of good and evil was the one tree they were forbidden. The other trees provided fruit for food:

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

Ultimately the act of sexual intimacy is not part of the curse. The sexual act is a very powerful and fragile union that is highly vulnerable to human nature - selfishness. However, all men have a sexual desire that has been tainted by the fallen nature. Just as women have a strong “control” desire mixed in based on the curse. We can see a result of these, especially in today’s society mainly from men and porn/infidelity.

I see it as an animalist instinct, a mature believer should be able to subdue it. It acts as waves, rushing over and gone.

Sex recession? Well, there’s a dynamic in play, which no one wants to talk about - Ai companions, porn, infidelity are increasing among men and have been for awhile. So now there’s a big portion of the male population that is recognizing it as a problem and trying to come out of it. Over 90% of males 18-35yo look at porn several times a day. We can quote scriptures all day long and win verbal arguments, but this is a real crisis. And we can see dynamics from Adam and Eve at play in these scenarios.

We can make educated inferences based on Genesis 1:28 and 3:16. I'm also going to infer that, based on Genesis 4:1, all of their children born while in the Garden of Eden were female, which tracks with Greek lore concerning the Garden of Hesperides.
