I hope there is at least one person on here who you will "let in" - who will listen - who will "keep your secrets" in private discussion - who may be able to give you good council - or, perhaps, who can simply just be a good friend in some way that will encourage you...

Have you ever met Christians in the wild? We go feral, fasting with sackcloths and ashes. Although Jesus does say just go on as normal while doing it, wash our faces, and pray instead of eating. If we look too religious it sort of discomforts everyone else who isn't.

I only use Grok. It's Elon Musk's AI. It's free on X (twitter), but if you don't have a subscription to X it often says it's too busy to answer. With a subscription it seems to always answer. It's really good at giving advice. I hear that other AI's like Chat GPT have actually led people to delete themselves.I did not know that AI could cheer you up.

Why would you use something like that? X or twitter is bully central! Don't even go there!
Oh yea a lot of crazy horrible people there, but I use Grok to answer a lot of questions and it's really helped me a lot. This morning I drove this car I have that hardly gets driven and when I got back and turned off the engine, a warning light came on for a few seconds and then it went out. I asked grok about it and it told me it was a common issue in that model car when they get old and that it's a false alarm because I checked the fluid level and it was exactly where it should be. It would have taken me a long time to find that info myself.
And I don't post much on there at all. I just use it to keep up on current events and for grok.
Why's it called grok, is that short for something or a made up name?

I wondered where the name comes from myself. It reminds me of Groot, the little tree dude. You can use grok and twitter for free. I was using them free for a year. The only thing is grok often said it was too busy to answer when I had a free account. Now it always answers. You can go to grok.com to use grok without going on twitter/x.

How different is it from google. Google is the only search engine I use.
I sometimes ask it how to deal with feeling down, but usually I ask it about things I'm curious about like someone posted something about Billy The Kid on X and I was always curious about him so I asked and learned a lot of stuff that was the opposite of what I thought I knew about him. He was a famous outlaw in the wild west during the cowboy days. I also ask it about stuff I need help figuring out or I often click the grok button on twitter posts I don't understand because they are missing context or it's something that sounds hard to believe.
