Silly question time: have you tried asking God to be Lord over your emotions and to bring his peace into that area of your life? Nothing wrong with some emotional intensity but it shouldn't be making you sick.
Why do I tend to gag and heave durring prayer?

I agree . One time. i did see for myself the man said someone is choking me. this was after a grand miricle. This whole event was something of the Lord .
