I can see that model unfolding, but I don't think you understand how "the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of God and our Christ". There is a completed model by the time the New Jerusalem descends from Heaven as described in Revelation 21 & 22.

You should read Revelation 21 afresh. The new Jerusalem is the bride...v. 2. John saw it coming down from heaven...v. 2 and v. 10. The new Jerusalem is the church. The church is the dwelling place of God.

Revelation 20:8 does not place the 1,000 years on earth; it only shows that when the 1,000 years are finished, Satan goes out to deceive “the nations in the four corners of the earth,” which proves nations still exist on earth at the time of his release, not that the millennium itself occurred on earth.
