I don't know, it's some place where there's lots of penguins. South of course..as in Southern Hemisphere. Maybe near Antarctica.
I had a dream about penguins the other night. I dreamt that there was a theater full of children and the penguins were used as therapy for them. The children would just pet them in their lap and then gently pass them on to another child. It was beautiful. Finally a dream that wasn't a nightmare.

oh ok sorry, I wasn't aware, I never read it or heard of it.
It's a new book, only published this year. There are mountains and mountains of books nobody's heard of, because people don't read books much these days lol

um because its easier to read a book than play a video game (for me) and I can stop whenever I want and go back and not worry about it running out of power?
good answer, it's not a video game though, its a video of people throwing stuff into a volcano. it was meant to be a bit of a joke.

Now onto When Apples Fall. another middle-class angst/tragedy by Liane Moriarty.

Typical plot ---a perfectly well off middle aged/class family falls apart. Why do bad things happen to supposedly good people? Why for the love of God. WHY?????
Read this book thats over 300 pages to find out!

The mother has gone missing.
There's a mysterious waif who they've taken in as she's run away from her abusive boyfriend.
The four children kind of suspect their dad has bumped off their mother...he's not saying anything though. Or it could be the waif/stray.

At this point 1/4 way through I'm not ruling out anything. Most marriages in a Liane Moriarty novel are rocky. The parents are neglectful and the children are selfish. Also, it's Australian. That behaviour is the norm, its nothing out of the ordinary. What gives this book interest/heft is the couple had a tennis coaching business together (which took over their lives)

So sporty Australians - we already know how competitive Australians are. But what happens after you've won the gold ring is the question.

huh I sort of had an inkling a twist was coming (come on it's a Liane Moriarty novel! she specialises in twists) but it sort of turned into a suburbia Rear Window scenario.

The part I found amusing was one of the daughters started her own physiotherapy practice, hoping for more injuries so she can stay afloat.

I'm currently seeing a physiotherapist!

Now reading the Penguin book of Penguins.

Funnily enough its in hardback not paperback like the original penguins with the orange covers were. But it is acknowledge the original penguins were the first paperbacks that were cheap and cost only as much as a packet of cigarettes..back in the day when everyone smoked like their life depended on it.

my left shoulder, its very stiff and he reckons I strained it lifting something heavy or pulled it somehow.

I suppose you can pray it gets better, I mean you can't lay your hands on it from Canada, but prayer could work just as well. I need to do some exercises to stretch it. It's not broken but he did mention frozen shoulder can happen.
