JUST IN: “Experts” in Shock as Gulf Crude Roars Back to 98% of Pre-War Levels — Iran’s Oil Still Cut Off By Jonathan Gregory
IRAN - OCTOBER 1, 2026
The same voices who spent months insisting the Strait of Hormuz was a closed door just got run over by the tape. JPMorgan estimates put crude flows at about 17.5 million barrels a day, roughly 98% of pre-war levels, while a 10-day average for total oil exports has held near 20.5 million barrels a day. Saudi Arabia has partially restored the East-West pipeline after last month’s drone hit and is loading tankers again on the Red Sea, even as Gulf terminals and shuttle runs push more barrels east. Wall Street Journal reporting this week described Iran’s chokehold breaking down as producers and the U.S. Navy got better at moving cargo through and around the strait. The recovery the pessimists called impossible is already on the water.
Tehran is the exception, and that is the point. Iranian crossings have stayed near zero since the United States put the maritime blockade back in place in July. Trackers say the floating barrels Iran had parked outside the blockade are draining, with some estimates that those stores could run thin by mid-October. Gulf neighbors rebuilt exits, pipelines to the Red Sea and Fujairah, ship-to-ship transfers, southern-corridor runs under U.S. cover, while Iran’s revenue line stayed shut. That is leverage, not a logistics accident. Washington does not need to sprint into a weak deal to reopen a tap the blockade already closed. President Trump’s bet was simple: squeeze the regime, keep allied oil moving, and refuse a panic settlement. Seven months after the war shut the strait, non-Iranian Gulf crude is back near its old pace, Saudi repairs are putting bypass barrels on ships again, and the world is not begging Tehran for a rescue cargo. Iran can keep threatening the waterway. The barrels are leaving anyway, and they are not Iran’s.
Here's a practical lesson in IRREGULAR WARFARE in the Global War against the DS's Arm of Radical Terrorists.... How do you orchestrate a STING OPERATION against TERRORIST's after you catch FIVE of their Foot Soldiers who are Committed to DIE for Allah and receive their 72 Virigins? You set them Free and Track their Movement and Correspondences!!!
As a means to CUT off the HEAD's of the HYDRA SNAKE!!! INTERROGATION DOES NOT WORK AGAINST RADICAL TERRORIST's WHO are WILLING to DIE for their RADICAL CAUSE!!!

Five men were arrested in a foiled plot against RAF Fairford, the British airbase that U.S. forces use for strikes on Iran. All five are now on bail. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin says he raised it directly with his UK counterpart, the Home Secretary. His question was the one every American is asking: “𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵?” He says part of the answer is an ongoing investigation he cannot share, and that “𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴”.
Then the assurance. Mullin says the U.S. and its British partners are watching the suspects: “𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴. 𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴.”
He also said Washington 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠. The IRGC was expected to hit a U.S. asset in the UK, and American and British officials were sharing information, but they “𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮”.
Read that again. The suspects are British nationals aged 23 to 25 (Jerusalem Post), held on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 promising to keep them in view. UK counterterrorism police have said Iran is “highly likely” behind it.
Mullin called Iran the leading state sponsor of terror and said it will keep making threats to the U.S. and its allies. Nothing about this plot suggests he is wrong. 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦. 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.
BOOM!!! MORE PROOF that the MILITARY is the ONLY WAY!!!! MORE PROOF that the MILITARY are PART of the JUSTICE PLANNED all around the COUNTRY!!!
MORE PROOF of a STING OPERATION...
Note: 179 Days is 6 months...
While it publicly claims to focus primarily on immigration-related prosecutions. IMHO this may be COVER for JUSTICE PLANNED against the DS Operatives Guilty of Treason... but we shall see...
JAG: THE MILITARY–CIVILIAN JUSTICE ROLLOUT JUST EXPANDED AGAIN We’ve been tracking an unusual series of developments involving the boundary between the military justice system and civilian federal courts.
Now there’s another significant addition.
SEPTEMBER 24 — JAG PROSECUTOR MODEL EXPANDS TO THREE MORE FEDERAL DISTRICTS
According to a Defense Department email reviewed by Bloomberg Law, DOJ is seeking active-duty and reserve military attorneys to serve as temporary Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys in:
Manhattan — Southern District of New York
Los Angeles — Central District of California
Sacramento — Eastern District of California
The assignments are expected to last 179 days (that’s a 17
), beginning October 13 or later, and are expected to focus primarily on immigration-related prosecutions.
But this is important:
THESE ARE NOT THE FIRST CITIES.
We’ve already documented JAG/military attorneys being inserted into civilian federal prosecution roles in several other jurisdictions.
WASHINGTON, D.C.
In August 2025, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro requested 20 military lawyers to help handle the increased prosecutorial caseload created by the federal law-enforcement surge. The Pentagon approved the request.
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE
In January 2026, DOJ formally announced that 20 military JAG attorneys from all four branches had been assigned as Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys to prosecute federal cases associated with the Memphis Safe Task Force. DOJ itself described the DOJ–military personnel-sharing arrangement as “unprecedented.”
MINNEAPOLIS / MINNESOTA
Military JAG attorneys were also assigned to assist federal prosecutors during the immigration-enforcement surge there. That deployment produced the May 1 court challenge we’ve been following, in which a Minnesota judge ruled that an active-duty Army JAG could legally prosecute a civilian as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney.

White House budget chief Russ Vought went on Fox News after the administration used a rare “pocket rescission” to cancel roughly $810 million in unspent federal money. Most of it was earmarked for services to non-citizens and for race-focused programs. Asked whether the cuts reflect fewer illegal immigrants to serve, Vought said yes, and then went further. “𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.”
He pointed to the NGOs living off that funding, including one in Massachusetts that he says put out a toolkit on how to evade ICE. “𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”
Vought blamed the last administration: “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥. 𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸.” He said fewer people are coming in, so the money has less to do.
Critics call the maneuver unlawful, and the GAO has said pocket rescissions are illegal. Vought argues the Impoundment Control Act doesn’t forbid the move near the end of a fiscal year. Either way, the money is now cut, and 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 are no longer bankrolling it. 𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐚𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞?

A CNN correspondent on air this morning: “𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 13.1 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘻. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 76% 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘳.” Count the pipelines and every other route around the strait, and the correspondent says 𝟗𝟖% 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭. CNN’s own framing: Iran has “𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦.” The 98% figure tracks JPMorgan’s estimate of total Middle Eastern crude flows.
That was the regime’s entire play. Close Hormuz, spike your gas prices, and force the world to blink. Instead, Gulf producers rerouted, the U.S. Navy kept the lanes open, and Iran is left unable to get its own oil past the American blockade.
The caveat, straight from the same segment: oil prices are still climbing, and petroleum products like gas and diesel, the stuff “𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩,” are not close to back to normal. The pain at the pump is real. But the weapon Tehran bet on is 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧.
Iran threatened to choke the global economy. Instead it choked itself, and the rest of the world found a way around. 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐲.
