EMERGENCY SHOW | THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE GIANT
Did you read the whole article? If so, what is your problem with the plea deal? The perp, Hoffman lost his law license and served 29 days, not one. The second case would have been riddled with problems.![]()
Inside Ken Paxton’s plea deal for a child sex abuse case
Critics are pointing to two other serious felony cases that the attorney general’s prosecutors took to trial that ended in mistrials and, eventually, plea deals.www.texastribune.org
| Hoffman's 2025 felony trial for continuous abuse of a child (his son's friend) ended in a 7-5 mistrial; the victim declined to testify again, prompting Paxton's office to accept guilty pleas to two misdemeanors with no sex offender registration required. --------------------------------From your article, which you probably did not read. But there were complicating factors for the jury to consider. The victim’s revelation about his abuse came after he was caught “acting out sexually” with his cousin, Cotlar said. He’d also recanted parts of his testimony during the trial, including a claim that he saw guns in Hoffman’s home. Experts say it’s not uncommon for young victims of such abuse to become perpetrators soon afterward. Nor is it out of the ordinary for children to offer conflicting accounts – especially if they’re testifying years later. In this case, the trial happened three years after the boy made the first accusation. But the reality is that in child abuse cases, the child’s testimony is often the only evidence that’s available, said Weltin, the Harris County prosecutor. And so if it’s inconsistent, that can create reasonable doubt in the minds of jurors. Waco authorities had also botched a key part of the initial police investigation, well before Paxton’s office was involved in the case. |

Here is an example:Chickie Run Flation
Stagflation is an economic condition defined by three things happening at the same time: slow or negative economic growth, high unemployment, and high inflation
Based on economic theory if people are unemployed demand goes down and prices also go down. But that theory ignores the role that fossil fuel plays in the economy. If the price of oil goes up you are going to have inflation and you are going to also slow economic growth and that in turn will cause unemployment to go up.
But now we have a fourth factor that no one has previously considered, AI. What happens when AI consumes a huge amount of energy when energy is already scarce? Price will go up as demand is greater than supply. So AI will cause inflation to get worse. Also what happens when AI is replacing workers by the millions? Unemployment will also go up. However, if we are investing billions into building up AI will the economy slow? During periods of high inflation and low demand (due to the unemployment) businesses will be looking to operate more efficiently, so that they can cut costs and prices. AI allows them to do that. So while AI is fueling inflation and causing mass unemployment, both of those things will also fuel a higher demand for AI.
Meanwhile AI will hide the impact on the economy because while the companies involved in AI are going gangbusters in the stock market, all the other companies are in recession.
What we have coming is "the perfect storm" and it hits when the prices for groceries spike due to diesel prices and fertilizer prices. Food and commodities are inelastic. Everything that AI can cause to decrease in price will be things that are not necessary when people cannot afford food or heat. Therefore this new form of stagflation will be like Jimmy Dean driving the car off the cliff. We will be driving full speed for the cliff, we know it is the cliff but we can't slow down otherwise China will beat us to the cliff.
Gerry Morris is Adam Hoffman's lawyer, Gerry Morris was also Nate Paul's lawyer. Nate Paul is the defendant in the corruption case which was settled by reduced charges involving Paxton when he was impeached by the House which case was also settled with reduced charges. Nate Paul is also the same Nate Paul who donated 25,000 dollars to Paxton's former campaign.
I don't understand this, why not arrest everyone in the riots and lock them up? Even if you don't have room in the jails and prisons use an army barracks. If you pull 2,000 kids off the street and put them in prison parents would begin to hold their kids back from going and fewer and fewer people would be showing up to these riots. For example, a navy ship can hold a lot of prisoners. There are a lot of things you can do. You can ship them to an island and give everyone tents to sleep in.
