Could these scriptures happen inside the Tribulation ??

Luke 17:27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was in the days of Lot—they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, 29 but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— 30 so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Since the Great Tribulation began in 70 AD and continues to this very day, the verses you referenced demonstrate that we are now waiting for the Great Tribulation to end.

Rapture and sudden destruction are next:

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Of course, we are not appointed to wrath.

Are we still waiting on the seventh head of the Beast?

Revelation 17:10-11 - And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Or...

Did the seventh head come and go already and now we are waiting on the 'eighth that is of the seven'?

I believe the latter.

I find it rather revealing that Jude connects the fallen angels/giants before the Flood with Sodom and Gomorrah:

Jude 1:6-7 (Berean Standard Bible) - And the angels who did not stay within their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling—these He has kept in eternal chains under darkness, bound for judgment on that great day. In like manner, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in sexual immorality and pursued strange flesh, are on display as an example of those who sustain the punishment of eternal fire.

In other words, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah had to do with the destruction of Nephilim.

...the angels who did not stay within their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling...

Fallen Angels = Falling Away?

2 Thessalonians 2:3 - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The timing is right.

According to the text itself, yes, it could.

Jesus' point in Luke 17 is not that life is suffering-free when He returns.
His point is that people are continuing ordinary activities right up until judgment falls:
"They ate, they drank, they married... they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded."
The emphasis is on normal human activity and lack of awareness, just as in Noah's day and Lot's day.

If someone argues that the entire Tribulation period consists of unbroken global catastrophe with no commerce, no planting, no building, no marriages, and no normal life whatsoever, Luke 17 creates a difficulty for that view because Jesus explicitly describes people engaging in ordinary activities until the very day judgment comes.

On the other hand, if someone believes there are still functioning societies, commerce, families, agriculture, and daily life continuing during at least portions of the Tribulation, then Luke 17 fits quite naturally.

The text itself does not explicitly answer whether these activities occur:
before the Tribulation,
during the Tribulation,
or at the end of the Tribulation.
What it does explicitly say is that when the Son of Man is revealed, many people are carrying on with ordinary life just as they were in the days of Noah and Lot, and then sudden judgment overtakes them.

So I would be careful about using Luke 17 to prove or disprove a specific tribulation timeline.
The passage clearly teaches normal life followed by sudden judgment.
The exact placement of that within an end-times system has to be established from other texts, not assumed from Luke 17 alone.

In other words, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah had to do with the destruction of Nephilim.

You assume a lot of lies but that is expected being a Preterist

I believe it happens after Jesus returns, when He is revealed.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns He'll throw the Man of Sin/Lawlessness and the False Prophet into the Lake of Fire. He then proceeds to judge the nations and the people through what we call the Sheep & Goat Judgement and He will remove all of the goats (the wicked people like back in the days of Noah and Lot). That does not mean that He will destroy all people. There will be survivors out of the Great Tribulation period in which God/Jesus will bring into His earthly Millennial Kingdom to repopulate the earth AGAIN (the sheep). When the 1,000 years are over, God will throw Satan, Hell, and Death into the Lake of Fire too. Then all will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgement to see if they make it into the Kingdom of Heaven. (Revelation 20)

Here is an outline of what I'm describing:

The Return of Jesus
  • Revelation 19:11–16— Jesus Christ returns as the conquering King.
    • Verse 11: Heaven opens, and the One called Faithful and True comes forth to judge and make war in righteousness.
    • Verse 13: His name is called the Word of God.
    • Verse 14: The armies of heaven follow Him.
    • Verse 15: He smites the nations and rules them with a rod of iron.
    • Verse 16: He is called KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
  • Zechariah 14:3–4— The LORD goes forth to fight against the nations, and His feet stand upon the Mount of Olives.
    • This passage supports the expectation of the LORD's intervention in the earthly affairs of the nations and His coming to the Mount of Olives.
  • Zechariah 14:5— The LORD comes with His holy ones.
    • This is consistent with the picture of the returning King accompanied by the armies of heaven in Revelation 19.
  • Matthew 24:27–30— The coming of the Son of man is visible and associated with great power and glory.
    • Verse 30 speaks of the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
  • Matthew 25:31 — When the Son of man comes in His glory, all the holy angels are with Him, and He sits upon His glorious throne.
  • Acts 1:9–12 — Jesus ascends from the Mount of Olives, and the angels declare that He will return in like manner as the disciples saw Him go.
  • 2 Thessalonians 1:7–10 — The Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, bringing judgment upon those who do not know God and obey the gospel.
  • Jude 14–15 — The Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints to execute judgment upon the ungodly.
  • Revelation 1:7 — He comes with clouds, and every eye shall see Him.
The Man of Sin & Lawlessness
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:3–4— Paul describes the coming apostasy and the revelation of the man of sin, also called the son of perdition.
    • Verse 3 identifies the man of sin.
    • Verse 4 describes his self-exaltation against God and his taking a place in the temple of God.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:8— The Lord Jesus destroys the lawless one at His appearing.
    • The KJV states that the Lord shall consume him with the spirit of His mouth and destroy him with the brightness of His coming.
  • Revelation 13:1–8 — The beast rises and exercises authority, receives worship, and makes war against the saints.
  • Revelation 13:11–17 — The second beast exercises authority, deceives the inhabitants of the earth, and directs worship toward the first beast.
  • Revelation 16:13–16 — Unclean spirits associated with the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet gather the kings of the earth for the battle of the great day of God Almighty.
  • Revelation 19:19 — The beast and the kings of the earth gather to make war against the returning Christ and His army.
  • Revelation 19:20— The beast and the false prophet are captured and cast alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.
    • This is the clearest and most direct verse supporting your statement.
    • The false prophet is identified by the signs he performed to deceive those who received the mark of the beast and worshipped its image.
  • Daniel 7:11 — The beast is slain, and its body is destroyed and given to the burning flame.
  • Daniel 7:21–22 — The horn makes war against the saints until the Ancient of days intervenes and judgment is given in favor of the saints.
  • Daniel 7:26–27 — Judgment is executed against the persecuting power, and the kingdom is given to the saints of the Most High.

The Sheep & Goat Judgement
  • Matthew 25:31–32— When the Son of man comes in His glory, He sits upon His glorious throne, and all nations are gathered before Him.
    • He separates the people as a shepherd divides sheep from goats.
  • Matthew 25:33 — He places the sheep on His right hand and the goats on His left.
  • Matthew 25:34 — The King invites those on His right hand to inherit the kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world.
  • Matthew 25:35–40— The King describes the righteous as having fed Him when He was hungry, given Him drink when He was thirsty, welcomed Him as a stranger, clothed Him, and visited Him in sickness and imprisonment.
    • Verse 40 explains that what they did to one of the least of His brethren, they did to Him.
  • Matthew 25:41 — The King tells those on His left hand to depart into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
  • Matthew 25:46 — The wicked go away into everlasting punishment, while the righteous enter into life eternal.
  • Joel 3:1–2 — God gathers the nations and brings them into judgment concerning His people Israel and His inheritance.
  • Joel 3:12–14 — The nations are summoned to the valley of judgment because the day of the LORD is near.
  • Matthew 13:40–43 — At the end of the age, the wicked are gathered out of the kingdom and cast into a furnace of fire, while the righteous shine forth in the kingdom of their Father.
  • Matthew 13:47–50 — The angels separate the wicked from among the just and cast the wicked into the furnace of fire.
  • Matthew 24:37–41 — Jesus compares His coming to the days of Noah. The flood took the wicked away, and He describes a separation in which one person is taken and another left.
  • Matthew 24:45–51 — The returning master judges the unfaithful servant.
  • Luke 17:26–30 — Jesus compares the days of the Son of man to the days of Noah and Lot, when judgment came upon people who continued their ordinary activities until destruction arrived.
  • Luke 17:34–37 — Jesus describes people being separated, with one taken and another left.
  • Revelation 14:14–20 — The earth is reaped and the grapes of the earth are gathered for judgment.
  • Revelation 19:15 — Christ smites the nations and rules them with a rod of iron.

Survivors from the nations

  • Isaiah 24:1–6 — The earth is judged because its inhabitants have transgressed God's laws, but the chapter also describes a remnant.
  • Isaiah 24:13–15 — Isaiah describes a remnant among the peoples of the earth who lift their voices and glorify the LORD.
  • Isaiah 26:20–21 — God calls His people to hide briefly until His indignation passes, as He comes to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.
  • Isaiah 27:12–13 — The LORD gathers His people, and those who were scattered come to worship Him in Jerusalem.
  • Isaiah 66:15–16 — The LORD comes in fire to execute judgment.
  • Isaiah 66:18–20 — After the LORD comes to judge the nations, survivors from the nations are described as witnesses to His glory, and people are brought from the nations to Jerusalem.
  • Isaiah 66:23–24 — All flesh comes to worship before the LORD, while the fate of the transgressors is displayed.
Isaiah 66:18–23 is especially important because it describes the LORD's judgment of the nations and then refers to survivors who participate in what follows.

A remnant survives the day of the LORD

  • Joel 2:30–32 — The day of the LORD is accompanied by cosmic signs, and deliverance is promised to those who call upon the name of the LORD. The passage also speaks of a remnant.
  • Amos 9:8–10 — God declares that He will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob and compares His people to grain sifted among the nations.
  • Zechariah 13:8–9 — Two parts of the land are cut off and die, while a third part remains and is refined through fire.
  • Zechariah 14:1–5 — The day of the LORD comes, the nations gather against Jerusalem, and the LORD intervenes to fight for His people.
  • Zechariah 14:16 — Following the events of the preceding verses, the text says that the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Like before the flood the people were not heeding the warning of Noah that a flood was coming.

And the ark was being built for a while that was testimony that Noah was serious about the flood.

They were carrying on not concerned about Noah and the ark being built.

It will be like that before Christ comes back that the world will not listen to the warning of the saints to the world.

But they will carry on business as usual until it springs upon them like the flood.

Once the rain started coming it was too late for repentance at the flood.

Once the resurrection happens it is too late for the world to repent.

God is giving the world 7 years to have their way to go against the truth and then He will end sin on earth.

The first 3.5 years the antichrist will push the agenda of the new age christianity as he prepares the world to accept him when he claims to be God.

Paul said the gathering of the saints unto Christ cannot happen until there is a falling away first and the man of sin claims to be God in the middle of the 7 years.

Which the falling away first is the response of the world to the truth which they stopped the preaching of the truth on a world wide level.

At the end of the first 3.5 years it is the falling away first when the transgressors have come to the full.

God will then allow the antichrist to rule over them.

Now the resurrection can happen.

Salvation is available for the first 3.5 years so the saints will remain on earth to represent the truth.

The last 3.5 years is the tribulation.

The tribulation is not for the world but for the saints because God is giving the world 7 years to have their way to go against the truth so the saints will remain on earth.

If the saints are not on earth how can the truth be represented.

The wrath of God is not in the 7 years period because God is giving them their way.

The trumpets are warnings to the world to get right with God but after the 6th trumpet they do not so He gives them the antichrist to rule over them and the deception will happen.

The last 3.5 years the beast makes war against the saints and prevails against them.

And they are given in to his hands for 3.5 years.

And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people all things are finished.

Which then comes the end when Jesus shall deliver up the kingdom and then put down the world which the world does not continue.

When the resurrection happens then the heathen do not continue.

So the resurrection cannot happen before a 7 years period for then there would be no 7 years.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

It would seem like the only way they could be that corrupt concerning all the people except Noah and his family is if the fallen angels corrupted them.

1 Timothy 1:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The new age christianity that interprets the Bible and religions according to the occult and evolution, and people will evolve to be spiritual, and greater, and Jesus became an ascended master, and there is no personal God, but they honor the God of forces the power of the Cosmos, and the New Age Christ is the final teacher.

The time will come that people will not want to hear the truth of the Bible but according to the new age.

The esoteric meaning of Lucifer.

There are comments on the World Wide Web claiming that the Lucis Trust was once called the Lucifer Trust.

Such was never the case.

However, for a brief period of two or three years in the early 1920’s, when Alice and Foster Bailey were beginning to publish the books published under her name, they named their fledgling publishing company “Lucifer Publishing Company”.

By 1925 the name was changed to Lucis Publishing Company and has remained so ever since. Both “Lucifer” and “Lucis” come from the same word root, lucis being the Latin generative case meaning of light.

The Baileys' reasons for choosing the original name are not known to us, but we can only surmise that they, like the great teacher H.P. Blavatsky, for whom they had enormous respect, sought to elicit a deeper understanding of the sacrifice made by Lucifer.

Alice and Foster Bailey were serious students and teachers of Theosophy, a spiritual tradition which views Lucifer as one of the solar Angels, those advanced Beings Who Theosophy says descended (thus “the fall”) from Venus to our planet eons ago to bring the principle of mind to what was then animal-man.

In the theosophical perspective, the descent of these solar Angels was not a fall into sin or disgrace but rather an act of great sacrifice, as is suggested in the name “Lucifer” which means light-bearer.

They believe Lucifer is an alien, and a god, that gave mankind intelligence, and will cause them to evolve.

Alice Bailey was a fundamental christian but received an occult interpretation from a Tibetan monk.

She is the biggest prophet of the new age.

They set up a website to promote her books and teachings.

She said there is an inner circle and an outer circle of the occult and the inner circle is the true church.

She was married to a Freemason that agreed with her teachings and philosophy.

Which Freemasonry has an inner circle that is in to occult teachings.

When God gives the world their way for 7 years the devils can work in the world more than before to deceive the world.

For the first 3.5 years the antichrist is influenced by the devil.

When the first 3.5 years is over war will break out in heaven and the devils will be cast to earth.

Which the earth becomes the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Which the earth becomes their holding cell.

The devils will deceive all people who do not love the truth to follow the antichrist which is the strong delusion God will send them.

Like the days of Noah where the fallen angels interacted with mankind causing God to flood the world the fallen angels will interact with mankind to deceive the world to follow the antichrist which God will end sin on earth.

For the 7 years period the world has their way and the saints on earth warning them they continue on not giving heed to them like at the flood.

Wow I musta missed the worldwide mark and the ac.
I guess the flying scorpions is actually some spiritual event.

Nope.
History proves the trib is future.

This is all backwards.
The first half of the 7 year tribulation is not some cake walk for Christians to get their house in order.
No sir, the Antichrist begins his rampage on Christians at the start of the 7 year tribulation.

the purpose of the tribulation, is the ending of the church age and the beginning of Jacob's trouble.
The tribulation is for the Jewish people.

the Church age ends and then God focuses on the jewish people.
The 144,000 are sealed BEFORE THE WRATH.
They are sealed against the flying scorpions.
None of the church is sealed because the church is not there on earth.

Also your setting is way off.
Jesus said in Matthew 24 that the setting for the rapture will be normal life, buying and selling, Commerce' giving in marriage, planning for the future, and everyday life.
your setting is exactly opposite of that.

Plus what bizarre explanations they come up with for the "one taken, one left behind" verses.

One should ask why they avoid it, or, when pressed, inaugurate the, "wicked people of half earths population are raptured preflood"

Throughout the centuries, Christians of many different traditions have observed that the Church has experienced tribulation since the days of the apostles.
Historical estimates suggest that tens of millions of Christians have suffered martyrdom for their faith, with some researchers placing the figure around 70 million since the first century.

This historical reality invites us to consider whether the tribulation described in Scripture may be broader and more enduring than a single future period.
Jesus told His disciples, "In the world ye shall have tribulation" (John 16:33), and warned that His followers would be hated, persecuted, imprisoned, and killed for His name's sake (Matt. 24:9).
Those experiences have accompanied the Church from the Roman Empire to the present day.

From the persecutions under Rome, to suffering under various religious and political powers, to the martyrdoms occurring in parts of the world today, believers have continually faced opposition because of their allegiance to Christ.
While Christians may disagree on the details of biblical prophecy, it is difficult to deny that the people of God have endured great tribulation throughout history.

This does not mean every prophecy has already reached its final fulfillment.
Rather, it suggests that tribulation is not merely a future concept but a present reality that has characterized the Christian experience for nearly two thousand years.
The Church has often walked the path that her Lord walked: rejection, suffering, perseverance, and faithful witness.

Whether one holds a futurist, historicist, preterist, or another prophetic perspective, the testimony of history reminds us that Christ's followers have never been promised freedom from tribulation.
Instead, they have been promised His presence through it and His ultimate victory at His return.

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten" (Rev. 3:19).
The history of the Church is not merely a history of suffering, but a history of God's faithfulness to sustain His people through it.

What about this?
1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

And this?

2 Thessalonians 2:2-8
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Yes, it appears that 2 Thessalonians 2:8 says the wicked will be revealed at the same time as Jesus' Second Coming.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

That either leaves the more righteous ones to be judged at the Sheep & Goat Judgement OR 2 Thessalonians 2:8 could just be a brief description of this longer event.

Matthew 25:31–46 (ESV)

  • 31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
  • 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
  • 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.
  • 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
  • 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
  • 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
  • 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
  • 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
  • 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'
  • 40 And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'
  • 41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
  • 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
  • 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'
  • 44 Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?'
  • 45 Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.'
  • 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

You assume a lot of lies but that is expected being a Preterist

First of all, I am not a Preterist, nor is anything I posted part of the Preterism belief.

Second, teaching Preterism is against the rules of this forum which makes your comment extremely rude and irresponsible.

You should consider apologizing for something that outrageous.

Instead of bearing false witness against me in front of everyone, you could have addressed the points I made.

The fact that you have to stoop so low to try and 'win' whatever argument you are making says a lot about you.
