I remember when NY was offering free fries if you get the vaccine. We thought that was obscene. Do you know what the criteria is for you to collect your $5,000? People always assume. Has trump said who gets it? He says "you". Well is he talking to people at that rally? Do you have to have a "MAGA" hat on to get it? I doubt it. Is he referring to all voters? Or is he referring to all taxpayers? Or is he talking about all citizens? He has not said and it is foolish to assume. For all you know there will be stipulations put in place.

Also, ask the Democrats this, "if the government chooses to give each tax payer a $5,000 rebate would you oppose that?" If they say no, then why is it that if the Democrats get elected you won't get the $5,000?

Do you see? Trump is not proposing a bill to give each person $5,000 and it is being held up by Democrats. No, he is saying quid pro quo, vote for Republicans and we will do this. Right now the Democrats do not control the house or the senate. If Trump wanted to give each taxpayer $5,000 he could have done it already. So it is clearly a carrot being dangled in front of the voters, if you vote for the Republicans you get the carrot. That by definition is "buying your vote".

The criteria for the $5000 is you're an American citizen. It's a dividend on the tariffs which we already raised, so it's already my money. Trump is making the point that the democrats will not pass it if they win the elections because they think they will spite Trump by robbing us. However even Trump I think underestimates what will actually happen if they do steal this from us too. Again better go back and watch those videos from Europe you posted and see what Gen Alpha's young men think about the older generations robbing them of a future.

It's full context of what Trump said and has been saying even before that. You realize like last year we discussed this on another topic right? We were talking about inflation, and this was a solution to get around inflation because it's not newly printed it's just a dividend from the tariffs. They already have the money, so the real question it's what do you do with it? Do you give it to the American citizen like you already promised?
