Noah gets wet and goes in the boat preflood, is of course, preflood.
Jesus taught a pretrib rapture.
Calling the brethren Satan is against the rules nasty boy.
...and Satan accuses the brethren.
...as you are doing.
You know, I have been on this site only a short while. You all have been brutal in attacking each other, and me, like people in social media. Where are the fruits of the Spirit?
Gal 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Mark 12:28-31
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Can we start treating each other with love instead please?
You all have been brutal in attacking each other, and me
This is the reason I post everything as a question. And I don't post a lot because of this. When I see people condemning each other, that is not good. I want people to disagree so we can have a discussion about it and come to the truth. Since I started posting, people have changed my words, manipulated my meanings and put words in my mouth. I have done none of this.People who disagree with your view point and posting what they believe is not attacking you.
If you tell someone you believe they are wrong, are you attacking them?
I want people to disagree so we can have a discussion about it and come to the truth.
Mat 7:
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Judgement = condemnation
If someone says something you feel is incorrect will you condemn them?
I brought this up because of your conversation with @Psalm1 above.Yes and each side will claim they are right and the other side is wrong leading people to claim the other side is attacking them
One needs thick skin to engage others on a public discussion forum.
Many believing coming to the Truth involves the other side agree with them. Is this what you are thinking coming to the Truth looks like?
How much witnessing have you done for the Lord in public? Ever have someone get right in your face threatening to murder you right on the spot as they manifest their union with the demonic? You're going to have to have even much thicker skin to witness for the Lord out in public than on an internet discussion forum.
Why not see what else the Lord said on this topic? Jesus actually tells us to judge righteously
John 7:24 - Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
The only way to judge righteously is to compare what people do and say to what God's Word teaches.
Yes, He also warns that we will be judged with the judgement that we judge with (reap what we sow - Gal 6:7,8)
Matthew 7:2 - For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
So, if someone is believing or doing something that is obviously in opposition to what God's Word teaches... it's not "judging" them to point out what they believe or do is in opposition to what God's Word teaches. By the same token, we should apply God's Word to ourselves and we should actually judge ourselves
1 Corinthians 11:31 - For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
The purpose of this is to submit ourselves to the Lord so that He does not have to judge us as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 11:32.... the Lord would much rather have us come to Him in submission and ask / believe for His leading / teaching so we can keep ourselves on the path that leads to life and not get off on the path that leads to death (separation from God)
1 Corinthians 5:11-13 - But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
I go with what Jesus said in John 7:24 which is to compare what people do and say to what God's Word teaches.
That way in the end it's the Word of God that is the standard of Truth.
I brought this up because of your conversation with @Psalm1 above.
I don't condemn anyone because they disagree with me. Instead I seek to have a conversation about it. I don't claim to know everything, so I come here with an open mind and hopefully learn something.
And I agree with you. Isn't this fun?Yes in one of my replies I said "IF someone is trying to get people to not believe the Word of God, that would mean they are working for the devil" and he got upset.
He apparently missed the IF part
And I agree with you. Isn't this fun?
I am not concerned with the objection. I am concerned about how it's objected. If it is objected to in love I am good. If by condemnation, I am not good. This is a CHRISTIAN place. This is a place where we can have discussions to help each other grow in Christ, help those that need Christ or if they are suffering to support them. That is LOVE. So, how about we be slow to anger and try to discuss things with dignity and respect. Not necessarily, not IF someone was really trying to get people to believe something other than what the Lord says in His Word.
The thing to remember in life is people are going to object to what you believe and not treat you nice as you would like to be treated and that's OK. We should not get all worried and upset when this happens.
If we do then they're getting our goat so to speak. All we can do is share what we think is right, provide scripture to show why we believe, and then move on and not concern ourselves if they accepted us or not.
God loves us, so that should be more than enough.

And there it is. Putting words in my mouth. It is love to put your best attempt at getting someone to believe the truth of God's Word. I am not arguing that. I am arguing how we as Christians are approaching it. That conversation I saw earlier did not have the Fruits of the Spirit in it. So, again, I say, let's be slow to wrath and treat everyone with love, dignity and respect--even if they don't treat you the same and you will see a big change. I would expect to get slammed from time to time. But not by Christians. So is it love to not try and help someone who is believing things that are in opposition to God's Word?
Or would love try to help by posting passages that they are either unaware of are have chosen to reject?
And there it is. Putting words in my mouth.

Be careful that your questions don't include condemnation. You're being paranoid dude.
That's your opinion which you are entitled to.
I remember Jesus and Paul dishing out what some would consider to be contentious replies to some people.
We they not walking in love?
Who's mad with wrath???
