Isn't that what responses are ?

If one sins, they are a sinner.
Do you disagree with that ?

If obedience to God spawns a hateful reply, I say, bring it on.

Who are "these people" ?

Human frailty ?
Before Jesus died and was raised from the dead, nobody could be baptized into Christ, and into His death, burial, and resurrection...and to be raised with Him to walk in newness of life.
So all those who lived in the OT were forced to walk in and after the "flesh".
Whereas after Jesus' resurrection, we can all walk in and after the Spirit.
Walking in the "flesh" isn't a frailty, but the natural condition of the OT.

Do you have anything to add to the OP, or am I your target now ?

Did I say that what I espouse was my idea ?
Scripture is full of verses exhorting perfect obedience to God.

Amen, and I am glad you realize that.
Freedom from condemnation starts with a real turn from sin/repentance from sin.

Forums are a means of exchanging ideas.

My salvation won't be assured until I find that my name is in the book of life.
That day will be the earth's last day.

If a man has been born again from God's seed, does the phrase 'human frailty' still really apply ?

I am glad I am no longer of the class of humans you refer to.
Turning from sin, and getting born again from God's seed, changes all that !

Ok thanks but judging by your reply it looks like you've already won the race 😬 your far to sure of your ideas to suggest you truly believe in what your saying.

I could understand with your stance asking questions but I can't understand you with your stance to be so sure in the understanding of scripture you have , as your stance says I don't know for sure if I'm saved.

A person who genuinely doesn't know for sure will ask sincere question, where as other people make a whole new religion out of it.
Your with that side.

It's a long way round for you buddy. Good luck in the race.

Perhaps you should have explained like this the first time 🤐. And explain better about me ha ing a relationship with either jacko or satan, which one was it ? I had you two down as being in agreement with each other, all tho maybe not everything, but you where encouraging him.
I don't know of any relationship anyone on this site has with any other member.
I see the more extreme sect of your belief system is now out the door.
I guess you have never commnunicated with anyone who actually serves the one true God before.
after reading his responses there, was quite a few people he was going to for guidance for, here and in other threads
I am not into discussing other people, in my responses.
Stick to the OP, please.
I wonder if now, those people can see the error of there ways.
Who are "those people" ?
Please explain yourself better in future, don't think for one minute human frailty which is permanent condition can somehow overcome satan, it can't, your frality needs Jesus, because your frality can't see that coward.
By getting reborn from God's seed, human anything has no bearing on my actions.

Your attempts to have me seen as a person who targets people is a lie

Your other ideas about me are lies to.

Yep your a liar

Thank you for the laugh brother
and thanks for proving you are decieved.

1 John 1:8 - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
If we confess and get washed of past sins, why can't we say we have no sin ?
John is writing to a church about two very different kinds of men.
Those who walk in the light-God, and those who walk in the darkness-sin.
He uses an alternating verse method to get his message across; juxtaposing one condition against the other to illustrate how very different they are.
Verses 6 and 8 address those wlaking in darkness-sin.
They can neither say thay have fellowship with God or that that have no sin.
Verses 5 and 6 address those walking in the light-God...in whom is no darkness-sin.
They can say that they have fellowship with God and that they have no sin.
This reminds me of the pharisee who pumped his chest. praising God he was not like the sinner. vs the tax collector who was so humble he was not even able to look up. crying out for Gods mercy.
which one do you think you look like?
Many years ago, I imitated the tax collector.
My sorrow for how badly I treated others, and myself, forced me to finally give up on healing myself and I submitted to God.
He graciously supplied me with everything I needed to flee the darkness and start to walk in Him, the light.
I heeded Paul's 2 Tim 2:19 exhortation..."Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

Paul very much preached to the Jews they no longer needed to follow the mosaic law to the Galatians, which was what you call a works based religion, he also maintained that having faith in Christ alone was sufficient, but those foolish Galatians would not have it, and argued you must be circumcised, and all that jazz the Jews looked to have Paul cursed placing himself under a curse called anathema, have you heard of that curse ?
That explains works of the law!
And Works of the flesh
gal 5:19-21 shall not inherit the kingdom of God
gal 6:7-8 sow and reap
1 cor 6:9-10 & 15-20 shall not inherit the kingdom of God
And dead works?
Jn 15:5
Heb 6:1
But what about living works in Christ and empowered by grace?

Jn 15:4
Phil 4:13
LK 1:75
ACTS 10:22
MT 7:7
MT 7:14
MT 26:41
MT 6:33
And many more

So you see there are many kinds of works

Thks

I believe God wants all to be saved,

I'm not sure what your getting when you say I have it backwards.

Thanks I did like your first initial post.

I believe God wants people to be saved and wishes none would perish, and that when his word says no one can go to the son unless the father enables then, then I see God's glory lighting people up inside. And I see a wonderful enabling grace. Which needs no requirement. I see a enabling grace which will save anyone if they accept the invitation.

You could look at and think that's a requirement and rewrite the whole bible. But no thanks the bible has already been wrote.

What you ignore/don't get is that "if they accept" indicates enabling grace can be resisted/NOT accepted
per Jesus (Matt. 23:37, 13:14-15).

Ok thanks but judging by your reply it looks like you've already won the race
My race is far from over.
And by the grace of God, I will prevail faithfully until my last day.
your far too sure of your ideas to suggest you truly believe in what your saying.
Huh ?
I could understand with your stance asking questions but I can't understand you with your stance to be so sure in the understanding of scripture you have , as your stance says I don't know for sure if I'm saved.
I feel that all of God's word are designed to cause folks to love Him first, and then to love each other.
When I see some doctrine that accommodates sin, I know it is not of God
A person who genuinely doesn't know for sure will ask sincere question, where as other people make a whole new religion out of it.
Your with that side.
The 'side' I am on, is the one that fosters love for God and love for our neighbors.
It's a long way round for you buddy. Good luck in the race.
I thank you for your thoughts on my behalf, even though I don't believe in luck.

What you ignore/don't get is that "if they accept" indicates enabling grace can be resisted/NOT accepted
per Jesus (Matt. 23:37, 13:14-15).
No mate I've thought about your idea to, and I don't just lean on one idea.

I've taken it to God and waited, I've examined the meaning. I asked myself if someone responds under enabling grace is that not still classed as a requirement.

And the answer I get is no from reading scripture I believe enabling grace to be an prevenient grace and empowering work of the spirit, not some kind of rigid requirement as some would put it, as in a forced obligation, to produce a correct answer,

I see his enabling grace as a transformative gift, that may even be with a person for some time. That produces an internal willingness,

I see his grace as empowerment to empower a person to freely choose his ways without obligation, and with no legalistic demand

Gods grace I believe restores a persons freedom and choice,

Joshua 24:15

And if it seems evil to you to serve the lord choose this day to whom you will serve
But as fid me I will serve the lord.

This tell me all i need to know. As i believe Joshua was a child of God.

Our own works would be dead works!

Jn 15:5 apart from Christ? Nothing
Heb 6:1 repent from dead works

We have by the initial grace of justification union with God and His saints thru Christ that empowers our actions with grace unto eternal salvation!

Phil 4:13 in Christ? All things!

On with living works begun in by grace, finished in grace!

AMEN?
dead works are any works done to try to gain salvation.

they are dead because they can not do what you want..

If you feel targeted, make sure you aren't defined by the accusation.

All I have to base any ideas concerning you, is that which you have written.

I've given you several chances to say your. sorry for your disrespect, but you being a typical know it all has just made excuse after excuse.

I wont be taken for a ride so move on.

dead works are any works done to try to gain salvation.

Do you feel that the works of repentance from sin and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of past sins for salvation are dead works ?
How about resisting temptation ?

Amazingrace,
you are dumping lists of scripture references without including your specific interpretation of their meaning, leaving your arguments completely open-ended. Before I reply to any individual verses, you need to provide your exact written interpretation for each verse you listed. Please put your specific definitions on the record first for me to reply to, and then we can proceed.

My interpretation is at the top
They refer to a state of grace not eternal salvation

In sin we fall
In grace we stand

Thks

Amazingrace,
you are trying to separate Christ's life from salvation to protect your conditions-based system, but John 10:28 clearly defines what that life is: "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." If the life Christ gives can end in perishing, then it is not eternal life. If it is eternal life (which it is), then it is salvation
Grace not salvation!

Salvation cannot be lost grace ca. Be lost

Explain these please

Eph 5:2-6 children of disobedience shall not inherit the kingdom of God
gal 5:1-4 fallen from grace
gal 5:19-21 shall not inherit the kingdom of God
gal 6:7-8 sow and reap
1 cor 6:9-10 & 15-20 shall not inherit the kingdom of God
1 tim 5:12 lost faith
Hebrews 6:4-6 fall away
rev 21:8 sin buys the lake of fire
rev 21:27 sin keeps us out of heaven
rom 8:1 gace lost by sin
gal 5:4 can fall from grace
1 cor 15:10 can have grace in vain
2 cor 4:7 treasure (grace) in earthen vessels
1 Jn 3:15 no life (grace)
Jn 15:5 apart from Christ? NOTHING!
2 Peter 1:10 diligence to make your calling and election sure
Luke 15:24 my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.

if you think you have no sin, you will not confess the ones you do

thats a major problem.

Do you feel that the works of repentance from sin and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of past sins for salvation are dead works ?
How about resisting temptation ?
if you getting baptised to be saved. yes those are dead works.

If you resist temptation to get saved, yes that is a dead work.

If your doing them because you are saved,, then they will produce fruit. and they will be living

That explains works of the law!
And Works of the flesh
gal 5:19-21 shall not inherit the kingdom of God

You've got your mind made up in what you believe, and lots of what you quote here will be an expression of what has been communicated in person's heart without obligation but spoken in love.

So like this. Hey son come on you know you can do better than this.

Then you start to do better. Then you back slide. Only now it's hey son that's frowned upon in the kingdom.

So you do better

You backslide again. then it's like you know son such people will not even enter the kingdom it's best to do this or these works.

Anyhow mate take it as you like.

I don't want to round in circles with you,
