Isn't that what responses are ?
If one sins, they are a sinner.
Do you disagree with that ?
If obedience to God spawns a hateful reply, I say, bring it on.
Who are "these people" ?
Human frailty ?
Before Jesus died and was raised from the dead, nobody could be baptized into Christ, and into His death, burial, and resurrection...and to be raised with Him to walk in newness of life.
So all those who lived in the OT were forced to walk in and after the "flesh".
Whereas after Jesus' resurrection, we can all walk in and after the Spirit.
Walking in the "flesh" isn't a frailty, but the natural condition of the OT.
Do you have anything to add to the OP, or am I your target now ?
Did I say that what I espouse was my idea ?
Scripture is full of verses exhorting perfect obedience to God.
Amen, and I am glad you realize that.
Freedom from condemnation starts with a real turn from sin/repentance from sin.
Forums are a means of exchanging ideas.
My salvation won't be assured until I find that my name is in the book of life.
That day will be the earth's last day.
If a man has been born again from God's seed, does the phrase 'human frailty' still really apply ?
I am glad I am no longer of the class of humans you refer to.
Turning from sin, and getting born again from God's seed, changes all that !
Ok thanks but judging by your reply it looks like you've already won the race
I could understand with your stance asking questions but I can't understand you with your stance to be so sure in the understanding of scripture you have , as your stance says I don't know for sure if I'm saved.
A person who genuinely doesn't know for sure will ask sincere question, where as other people make a whole new religion out of it.
Your with that side.
It's a long way round for you buddy. Good luck in the race.
